Tee boxes only fair condition. Several greens in bad shape. Sand traps have adequate sand and were much more consistent than in the past.

First nine was ok but the back nine literally had the walking dead out in front of us. A young employee said he would try to do something (standard line). Nothing changed. I played 3 balls on most holes and still had to wait. Oh well.

Well known and often played course near Hanover PA. Two original, classic style hilly nines through the woods and a third more modern nine hole layout where water is the main feature. Most locals favor the former nines. This course gets a lot of play, and it shows, particular on tee boxes. Paved cart paths on original nines desperately need work as do traps. Courses favor accuracy. Greens are in fair shape. Good value. Has a bar and grill for 19th hole aficionados. Overall not a destination course; can recommend but wish it was in better shape.

Course is bad condition on west side construction by pond on 7th was a large hole with shovels and other pieces of tools laying around and nothing to tape off area, you have to walk by it to get on tee box with water on both sides. Sticks and debris all over course and traps have no rakes and are filled with pinecones and limbs. Even though its not prime season no excuse for the dangerous situations.

One of the best courses for your money.I play South Hills often and always find a way to challenge myself there. The west course is by far the most rewarding to conquer. The greens are always in decent condition, but this is not a top tier course. The staff are welcoming enough and the food is more than adequate but nothing to write home about. No doubt I will continue to play here in the years to come.

Played the north and west 9s today. Fortunately, we didnt play the sand traps. Sone were mostly rocks, all were in dire need if maintenance. This course, in my opinion, is going downhill fast. It could be really special with some more effort.

The folks at the course are very friendly and make the experience a pleasant one. I play there often with my 9 year old grandson and theyre always very accommodating with him..Course is a nice challenge and is generally well kept.Having 27 holes allows you to mix and match your rounds so theyre different every time.Pro shop is nicely stocked and greens fees are always very reasonable.Nice job guys!!

Ok greens are ok staff was ok but the general condition of the fair ways is a D - and the ruff is a u - and the sand traps well lets just say they are so hard that giving them a rating would be giving them any credit at all..

Played north and west courses. Very nice except for the intermittent loss of cart path. Greens were rough in some spots, but generally it is a well-kept course.Fairly challenging, too. First 4 or 5 holes on the west course are quite fun and look great.Certainly worth checking out.

Randy the Facility Manager made my experience awesome! I belong to Pitch & Putt a Ladies Golf club out of Baltimore Md. We held an 80th Celebratory Outing (about 90 golfers) Randy was professional from our first meeting by phone, our outing in May 2018 to the follow-up call 3 days later. The course was in perfect shape. Nicole in caterering did an awesome job with our bagged lunches. I could go on & on about how good the staff treated our guest. 5 stars goes to this course. If you need a great course for your outing, South Hills is a great choice.Bert PalmerPitch & Putt 2018 Golf Chair Woman

The service and staff is phenomenal ! The owners need to invest in the course itself. The grounds, tee boxes & golf carts leave a lot to be desired! I would have given 5 stars if the items listed would be addressed! I play here with friends and we love the locality but the course needs work!

This is a nice inexpensive course, its condintioning can vary, tends to burn out in hot dry summers. But a fun course to play. Hilly terrain makes for some challenging shots and the greens have some heavy contours that toughen it up just enough. This review is for the North/South courses, dont bother with the West Course.

Review №42

The course it self is nice but unfortunately they dont care about the pace of game we had two twosome on front of us hitting over 10 shoot per hole I told one of there employees and he said (we dont have any Rangers) when he could have go and talk to them him self everything else was fine but a rd of gold should be about 4hrs not 5 and 1/2

Sc
Review №44

For what its designed to be it is ok. However, do not expect any pace of play here as the Rangers do about as much as a garden gnome. The ground is extremely hard and therefore playing here reminds you of playing across the pond (I played after a week of heavy rain and it was still rock hard by Saturday and Sunday). Staff was friendly enough though and as long as you understand what you are going to play it is decent.
