I love this place. The customer service is outstanding. The Casino is very clean the restroom, food court. I like the way they keep the machines and tables sanitize. I will refer my family and friends.
Went for a day trip with my husband and best friend. First off, the place is huge which is great but going in the daytime made it even easier to socially distance myself. There was a great selection of games both old and new school and multiple restaurants within the casino. Their loyalty card redemption process is a bit odd in comparison to other places though. It isnt as simple. Overall it was fun and I definitely walked out with more than I walked in with.
Positive: Room was spacious Negative: A bit overpriced for a casino hotel
Fun places to visit and filled with tons of great places to eat around the actual casino. Whether you like to gamble or not, this place has live musical performances, concerts, shows, and an outlet mall with a good court located less that 50 yards from the casino floor.
Positive: The room Negative: No
Great place, free parking and not crowded due to covid restrictions. Temperature checks upon entry.
Very fun casino to go’ the restaurant are great there as well! We always have a good time. They really care about customers feelings and health. The sanitation standard are top-notch.
New safety rules and precautions were great, but table blinds were almost double compared to pre-covid blinds. I understand needing to make more money to make up for the covid shutdown but I went to play $15 tables for crabs but the minimum was $25
This was my first time there and all I can say is I love the Live! Hotel and Casino. Coming from New York, I did not have any expectations, I’m used to Atlantic City as my go to for gambling. Due to COVID, Maryland is the closest state to me where I can play live poker. The establishment is beautiful, classy, elegant, and in conveniently located the middle of a shopping/mall/restaurant district. I booked one night in the hotel, and it was top notch. Everything in the hotel was new and modern, and they take all the standard measurements for safety. The clientele is a healthy mix with good energy, and the amount of sketchy characters are at absolute minimum. If you have ever visited Atlantic City, you will understand this. I will definitely back. Hopefully I played enough in my first trip out to earn some comps for the room/restaurants!
Came here for business from out of town, figured I’d do a little playing at the casino well, the dealers at the tables are rude I unfortunately am disabled and can’t stand for very long so i sat down at one of the dealer tables that was closed due to COVID waiting on the luk fu restaurant and I was told I had to move which was okay but i asked for a chair to sit in while i waited and the guy told me no. Don’t recommend this place at all it’s a scam and they don’t care for there guest. I will never visit another Live casino and hotel.
Best Casino in Maryland thus far. Usually clean for the most part and staff are always professional to say the least. Machines are not friendly at all and hardly ever pay any jackpots...... just listen while your there and youll notice you may never hear the tell tale ringing of someone hitting a jackpot.
I had a fun time here, won a little but of money. The meatballs in the restaurant are pretty good. That was the motivation behind the visit....as well as gambling lol...fun times. You have to download the app in order to get drinks in certain parts of the casino...I didnt like that...but I will be returning.
In the poker room there is no room for your chips or cell phone or really even your beverage. The EASY fix would be to take out the glass right in front of you. It would give the players more than enough room. Of course, keep the side dividers around the table there. In other casino games like BJ and Pai Gow at Live!, all thats dividing on the tables are the side dividers. Finally, bottom line, just take the glass thats in front of us at Poker Room.
This was the worst experience I’ve had at any casino ever in the history of casino. The slot machines are the tightest Ive ever seen in my freaking life. Being a new guest I’m surprised that the odds are against you more than ever. Also the people that work for the casino on the slot gaming floor in the high roller Slot area are a joke. From my experience I was doing ok breaking even but never winning and every time those attendants walk by the machine got colder and colder. For what it’s worth they just lost a guest. Never got a drink or nothing. Even the perks are shameless. To see all those people in there and not hear one person scream with happiness and everyone looking miserable just says how sad this casino is. You have to many guest to have such a low payout. If I could give less than one star I would.
Lacking social distancing practices, but I know thats a lot of people to keep in line in such a large place. Machines arent being disinfected either. Would have been nice to have some wipes around. Place is nice overall though.
I love this place Im a frequent visitor. A get some little wins in but Im still trying to get a real big win. I would recommend this casino to other friends and family. I hope this post gets me close to that big win.
Not the best casino for rewarding slot play. I am a multi-year Platinum Card Member and I receive the slot play reward equivalent to a classic or gold card member. I was told by staff that my slot play amount would go up in September/October, which that is not true. I had earned over 100,000 points in less than 6 weeks after reopen, only to receive just $40 in slot play each week whereas MGM provides me $40 in slot play every week with only 150 points earned.
Attended a private event and got a behind the scenes tour of the special event space. What a great venue to host any size of event! No need to worry about adding fees for decor; its already there! Got to see the dressing rooms for the entertainment and a look at the suite level. Very nice!!! The food was good too! And that doesnt cover the 10 restaurants on-site. If you havent been there before, go check it out. For a concert, dinner, or gambling and an overnight stay. Theres something for everyone.
Good casino with plenty of room. Wish they had $15 blackjack or Spanish 21 tables. Otherwise, Im deeply satisfied.
The room was amazing and clean but 8:30am there were construction men banging very loudly on the outside of my room window. They woke us up abruptly and when I called down to the front desk they were no help at all. The men were outside of our window on the 16th floor and the curtains were see through so I couldn’t even take a shower in the morning to leave.
I always have a great experience when Im at Live Casino...even without winning..Bathrooms are clean..atmosphere is pleasant and never smoky smelling..lol..I would recommend anyone of age trying Live at least once.
I like going there but just would like to win more but it fun to go to play the slots and the food good the staff are real nice all ways parking space even the people who come down there to play the game are nice to
The reason I rated this is that when I came in the cashing ticket machines was down & atm machines was down so I couldnt cash in ticket money or break down in smaller bills & I couldnt get money out of ATM to play either. And alot of machines where out of order not because of social distancing they would not except ticket or cash in alot of them even though they was open to play. Frustrating. Im sure things just wasnt going the way it normally would..It was my first time & I was excited to get live card. Im sure the next time will probably be better experience. Will let you know
My daughter worked there and cant get a separation letter. They claim the H.R. dept. didnt update the information. Its been a few months and they still havent updated this info. How hard is it to get a simple letter. I cant move forward with simple housing without it...
Live Casino is a nice place... I use to win a lot and then it stopped. Lol not sure why I guess my luck ran out
Hotel staff were nice and friendly. Room was very clean and up to date. Only thing I did not like was when I went to Starbucks or got any food from the mall, the security guard at the door was very rude and informed me I couldnt walk through the casino to get to my room. When I stated I was just going to my room he stated he didnt care and to walk around the building. I get he has a job to do. But dont be rude. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit!
Would love a live casino and hotel would be awesome but we are in utah and that would not go very well would love to run one and donate the proceeds to a great cause
This casino has a great poker room and an interesting setup in an upscale shopping mall in Maryland. If you play poker a must visit 2 floors and a great mix of games. Mostly NL texas hold em 1-3 and 2-5. Some mix games a 6-12 Omaha 8/ stud 8 or better hi low. I think PLO was going as well and 5 card big O. Professionally run room good dealers and floor staff and great promotions.
I left MGM Harbor on my way back to DE saw Live and stopped. Thus casino was so much better. Its about an hour from my house but already planning to come back since DE Park is dead right now. This was truly live!
Went to the casino around 6: pm no problems. Left for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory which was extremely busy, finally got a table after 3 hrs. Went to re enter casino after dinner and was barred because I couldnt take my pocket knife which was ok 3 hrs earlier but after 10:00 pm you have to go through metal detector. It’s a Maryland legal pocket knife, but you would think I was trying to sneak it into a jail or something. Won’t be going back to either the casino or Cheesecake Factory again. Place is a dump, and should have known better. Fool me once........
I bet on this and won. BUT machine lights go black and back on and shows paid 0. A win but refused to pay. Be careful on their slots. You may win and get refused to pay even with personal looking at it.
Nice venture! 1st time going next time i will Explore more than I did this time around.
Food and service was outstanding... Very accommodating to our needs. LukFu was outstanding. If you get a chance to eat there you wont be disappointed. Lobster was excellent!!!!
Surely wasnt paying last nite and free spins were a serious waste and gave u nothing when you did get a spin. I heard no winning screams at all.
I was visiting from San Diego where we have a lot of casinos, and I had a really fun time at Live! The place is huge and they had all COVID prevention measures in place. I quickly got over the plexiglass dividers at the table games because of the inviting staff. Great experience!
One of my fav. Casinos! Machine pay most everytime. So much to choose from. Staff is friendly. Foods great. Always a great time
You’ll love it staying here. Beautifully designed, it’s clean & extremely quiet.
I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and I was very happy with the safety measures that they have taken to protect me and their staff.
I won. Live casino is taking care to keep customers safe. Wear a mask and have fun.
The casino itself was nice and the safety during the pandemic was good. However, there was one really big thing that made me mad. When you enter the casino there is a checkpoint for to get your temperature and ID checked. Okay no problem but you have to enter through this check point to gain access to the Bobby Flay burger joint as their outside door is now not accessible. When finishing at the burger place and reentering the casino one of the nonprofessionals at the door started yelling at a person in our group that they came into the casino the wrong way. Go figure the entrance and exit to Bobbys is right beside the exit to the casino. So this person who checked our temps and ID 20 minutes prior, knowing the only entrance into the Burger place was through the casino was a complete joke. Additionally no signs indicated that you couldnt bring your drink from the attached restaurant in the casino into the casino....Ive been to Vegas and countless casinos across the country and have never been told that you couldnt take your drink from an establishment inside the casino out to the casino floor. In fact Ive been encouraged by the different restaurants at casinos to buy the drinks at their spot to save money but either way that doesnt really bother me either. What does bother me is if there is a policy fine, no problem but maybe put signage at the entrance/exit so that folks know this before someone at the door isnt rude and stupid. Additionally they were so worried about temperature etc but not worried to get into the female persons face to complain about coming in the wrong way up until he noticed that we came from the burger joint which means we went through the check point and then had to switch his reason for being rude, unprofessional and non-compliant with distancing. I know this is a stressful time for everyone but at the end of the day there are good ways to handle things and bad ways. Id suggest 1) Know the outside doors to a particular part of an establishment attached to the casino are not open to outside traffic and traffic is only flowing through the checkpoint 2) Keep the exit doors closed as to not confuse the flow of traffic or who went through the check point and who didnt 3) Signage at the entrance and exit of attached food establishments stating your policy about drinks. Pretty simple honestly.
Nice and large casino. Lots of table games. Good Social distance practicing.
Very beautiful property and very clean! I really enjoyed my time there. The rooms were very big and decorated nicely. I was very impressed with this hotel and would recommend anybody to stay. We stayed here without the kids, when we have the kids our go to hotel is the Aloft. Wish we had the kids less often because I definitely want to come back here. The casino was nice, even though I dont enjoy gambling, thats my boyfriends thing. Lol I did win $50. The drinks were nice and strong and we enjoyed eating at the Cheesecake factory!
Extremely horrible experience. If I could give it zero stars I would. Such a great moment instantly turned sour. And I honestly dont think that I will be visiting this establishment again.
Like it over MGM. More games and the plus is you have employees in the floor offering drinks. Thats huge to me. Customer service. I love the plastic game panels to help with social distancing
Live Casino has a wide variety of slots and table games. The atmosphere is great plenty of places to eat and the servers are always pleasant. There is a mall within walking distance with plenty of stores and a great food court.
Love to visit every year. Nice place to relax n enjoy the view.
Very nice modern casino!!Lots if machine with all different amounts to play with! From a penny to 10.00!Also there are gaming tables tooAnd places to eat and food court
I am a live casino card holder and my first casino visit was yesterday. The casino is just beautiful they did a outstanding job with safety measures for social distancing. They invested a lot into keeping their patrons safe. I cant wait to go back.
Took my husband to the on-site restaurant PRIME RIB for fathers day. What an amazing experience. The lamb chops were very tasty. My server Micheal was nearly perfect. Very attentive, made excellent recommendations and made an excellent photographer. Valet parking staff were very friendly and helpful. We ended the night by checking out the Cigar Lounge Orchid where we indulged in a few different cigars, recommended by the bartender Tina. Overall an amazing night. I will be back.
Thats one of the hottest spots in the city and I work out there at The Cheesecake Factory, so come on out get yourself a great meal and win some money too.
I had a great time seeing Gladys Knight. The venue size was just right, not too big. Every seat was a good one. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to keep you occupied before or after the show. I DONT GAMBLE AT ALL and didnt appreciate having to walk through the casino to get to the theater; however, if thats all I have to complain about, Im good! Theres valet parking, but it would be nice to have seating while waiting for the car. Overall, great experience. I would return.
We had a great time. The front desk team experience was wonderful. We were first time guest, and the desk team made sure we knew about the features of the hotel. We felt like high rollers on a low roller budget. The room was very nice. The room has a tablet for you to use. It displays your name, and you can track the daily room bill and any other charges. The walk-in shower was a nice touch. The casino was - a place to eat your money. But we enjoyed ourselves. We ate at Davids restaurant once for dinner, and twice for breakfast. What we did for the second breakfast was order one meal and split it. And we still could not clean our plate.
Beautiful Hotel rooms never had to go outside go from the casino to your room I really enjoyed myself
I am giving an extra star right now only because I did like going here before when life was normal, but I’m really appalled right now. How in the world can this place be open 24 hours a day while restaurants are forced to close their doors at night to indoor diners in parts of the state? A fair portion of those restaurants using the extra time to clean and sanitize everything? There is no way you can properly clean and sanitize properly remaining open for 24 hours a day. Spots are going to fall through the cracks you can spout perfection all you want. At least have the God given common sense and decency to shut down between midnight and 6/7am in solidarity with other businesses. But money will always rule over well being right?
The rewards tied into your loyalty card have plummeted since the reopening after covid, used to have free slot play or free match bet once Monday thru Thursday and once Friday through Sunday. When live first reopened these rewards were there. Now I frequent just as much as I did before but the free slot play/ free bets are gone. Casino is probably hurting from the covid shutdown... mortys isn’t open anymore, crab cakes are no longer served at the restaurant that used to be Phillips (served crab cakes after Phillips was no longer the branding of the restaurant). The quality of food is trending downhill, along with the non existent rewards. Sad, used to be my favorite casino; it seems from other posts MGM is rewarding their players.
I had fun with my mom. I sat my mom at a slot in her wheelchair and had to use the bathroom. The lady two machines down kept an eye on my mom while I went to the bathroom. I came back they both was having a great conversation about how they were enjoying themselves.
I have been going to Maryland Live since they first opened. I am what many people would call a regular. I dont think I have ever lost money so fast in any other casino like I have at Live. They claim their payouts to be a certain number but thats irrelevant because if you go there as many times as I do you will know youll never win there. It is so hard to get a bonus and very often when you get one they dont pay you anything. You will go through money so fast that it becomes frustrating. I went to Live two days ago, I went through $500 in 2 hours playing slots, minimum bet. I have decided to do myself a favor and never go there again. You are trying to go somewhere and just have a good time but its hard to do that when you are flat out getting robbed.
Incredible! Sales staff for our event was fantastic. The team of Pam & Ina was professional, courteous and went above the norm to service us throughout!200 Rooms; 1000 guests; 175 vendors for our trade show; 400 person reception; 125 individuals for breakfast! Need I say more!Looking forward to seeing the new addition!!
Decent casino hotel, there is no resort fee. The hotel is connected to casino and shopping mall.
This place is an excellent entertainment venue. Post- COVID restrictions have changed the overall experience, but, safety first!
Great new venue!Had the privilege to see Jill Scott here, it sounded great and visually it looked stunning.Bathrooms, seats and bars are all brand new and staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful.Seats were a little bit expensive but thats the case for most acts today. There is plenty of free parking in the garage or across the street. We hit up Prime Rib before the show and I would also highly recommend grabbing dinner or drinks there before a show as well.
Warm and welcoming, taking extra precautions with covid and I felt very comfortable!
Terrible service. You feel like a zoo animal with the plastic cages you have to sit inside.
Before you ask: No, I didnt rate it highly because I won. In fact, I fed the slots forty dollars. In any case, the staff is keeping the place clean, and the installation of transparent plastic partitions is a nice touch to help mitigate potential aerial transmission. Staff is masked up, and wearing gloves, and still quite friendly.
Tight machines. Better to spend your money at the mall across the street. At least you have something to show for it.
Safe clean great staff first time Friday not a fan low wins on slot play but better then the rest
Very neat and clean and good customer service but the only thing is that regular customers cant stay after 10 you have to be a member so if its your first time just make sure you get a membership so you can be able to spend as much time as you want at the casino.
This was my first time visiting and I really enjoyed myself. The hotel stay was amazing and I really enjoyed the casino for the first time ever. I definitely will return here. Will also recommend it too.
Theyre taking the pandemic serious and having everyone social distancing and wearing masks and the employees were cordial and friendly and helpful finding machines I like playing
Love this casino cant wait to go back to Maryland. The machines treated me well
Went there early for brunch at the Cheesecake Factory since I was hoping there would be few people and it tends to be very spacious. They need to a better job being vigilant in their spacing to create more social distancing. They need to limit the people being seated no matter what and it would be nice but not required to provide hand sanitizer at each table.
Fun atmosphere. Restaurants are decent. Great place to hang for a Friday or Saturday night.
Face Mask and social distancing is enforced, they are not playing. If you wanna smoke, theres an outdoor patio with slots and a few table games. Unlike other casinos in the area, this one has attendants that are actually monitoring the use of face masks on patrons. I love that! Oh and the slots pay, really pay!!
Its just ok... The place is very new, the design is modern and the rooms are nice, in fact - our bathroom was over the top beautiful and very spacious! Beautiful building in New area with lots of construction still going on. However, the prices are outrageous, the views not the best and the overall clientele is not the greatest... We were looking for a fun & somewhat fancy night out gambling and having some drinks, but the slots are unreasonably high priced with very little return (gambling over a dollar and winning back $0.08 doesnt seem reasonable...). Most of the other guests were in sweat pants and somewhat shady looking making us to feel uncomfortable... We wont be back!
This Casino is the best during the Covid. Everyone is friendly and always smiling.
Thank you for kick me out permanent. this is a good ideas to help me not lose the money to casino. i always lose money to this casino.
Took an hour and 9 employees to get our reward cards active. Will go to baltimore casino or Delaware park next time
The art collection was original, they had two pieces in a higher caino card tier check in area. I had a massage in the spa, it was wonderful but I was told the steam room was out of order again. That was one thing I was looking forward to, so I decided not to get a facial the next day as I was planning. As far as the cleanliness of the rooms the bathrooms were EXTREMELY nice. As I had seen inother reviews they could do a little better in vaccuming and cleaning the floors in the room and outside of the elevators. There was smudging on the beautiful floor to ceiling windows from a small child. Overall, the rooms were relaxing and perfect for my me vation. Almost every employee made you feel like they would go above and beyond expectations! There is a very nice mall that is only an easy and short walk across the street, and it leads you straight into the food court. For the price I paid through orbitz this was definitly a extremly nice place to stay. If I had to pay the price the hotel normally offers, I would be a lot more nitpicky about some of the things. Overall there is one thing that bothered me about the casino. I did see several people sleeping there that I assumed were homeless, because they were there multiple nights and sat out of the line of vision of where security normally stood.
NIce and quaint. Penthouse was amazing. Thanks to BOB! Player HOST!
I loathe this place. I was hoping the presence of multiple casinos in MD might lead to a little competition, but much like Atlantic City, when you factor in the hotel cost, its cheaper to hop a flight to Vegas or Biloxi for a gambling weekend. Comps are nonexistent, staff are rude, games are expensive, patrons are rude, no free drinks, no smoking, promos are a joke... its just not fun. Theyre not interested in providing an experience, just separating money from people who obviously really shouldnt be gambling.
Had nice time winning money it was exciting and fun
For my birthday I decided to have a Ladiesnight Staycation with a few of the women in my family. I was totally impressed. From the arrival to our checkout was great. Customer service is so important and yours is awesome. I hope that it continues. We plan to do this again.
No Social Distancing on slot machines.YOU NEED TO CHECK THE SMOKING AREA. THE PARTIONS ARE A JOKE
Awesome selection of games. Very clean and professional environment. Extremely organized. A must visit for anyone traveling to or just living in the area.
Very clean, the people who work there were always greeting with a smile, it is huge inside and a plethora of gaming tables and machines, the social distancing was really great i liked how the tables and some of the slots had shields up for your protection, we cannot wait to come back, this was our first encounter but wont be our last
Servers and bar tenders are the best but other than that... wait til after Covid-19 because this casino hasnt figured it out and are open to get your money more than to give the best experience.
There are a bunch of rule changes including one machine apart from each other. The elderly employee at the entrance got a terrible attitude (rude as hell too)! Mom and I stepped up together but the guy still wanted one person a time. I seen a few groups step up together; why we cant? Other than that, I had a good time (with my winnings).
It was nice the atmosphere was nice it was cleaned it was nicely sanitize it was right on point I enjoy being there looking forward to coming back again
1 person working at the Live! Rewards area.....not able to spend money while waiting such a long time in line.....30 minutes in unacceptable and I feel even worse for the 8 people waiting behind me
There is no one really at the casino due to the covid crisis. Im not sure its even open. They put a heart with an exclamation mark in the windows every night. I gave it a 5 star rating.
I enjoyed the Casinos. It was a nice event for my son and I at his request. As a first time gambler, the Black Jack table, the associate was accommodating in helping me learn the tricks of the trade. He was nice and instructive on how to not touch the table and money while the game is in play. I won every game as a first timer. When my son returned and observed my winnings suggested we leave that table. The bathrooms were clean. It was a fun time.
Its a nice casino. Win some but usually lose more.
Great casino! Such a lovely place and the fact that its non-smoking makes it 5 stars alone (dont worry smokers they have an area for you too!). Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Among the best casinos Ive been to. Plenty of games and live tables. And all the restaurants inside are pretty solid as well. Highly recommended!
I enjoy coming here and eating at Bobbys Burger Place OMG that Pistachio Shake is to die for . The staff is also very friendly
