We found ourselves here shortly before closing on a week night. There is a small selection of beer and the decor is understated. This reminds me of a college town dive bar. There is room to dance and the staff we met were nice, so Id be happy to try it on a busier night and see how it goes.

For what it is, its really fun. Its very country and ALL of the music is country until 11ish, then they add pop songs. Theres a lot to do which makes it fun if youre not into the country/line dancing scene. Lots of pool tables, darts, mechanical bull, several bars. Staff was really great as well. If I lived in the area Id definitely go back.

I’ve been going to PBR Hampton for a few years now and just wanted to give recognition to one of their newer bartenders, Kayma Rose. She works white bar usually and her ability to maintain a friendly and fun personality while performing at a high speed is remarkable. Even when her bar is busy and she has a rail full of customers she makes sure she acknowledges you and entertains the whole rail as she knocks out everyone’s orders. I’m very impressed and will continue to come back and see her.

Tapps is a great little hidden gem. Thursday is karaoke. They have a ladies night every third Friday of the month, and all the UFC fights are free to watch. Plus they have fun games like giant Jenga and giant Connect Four

The bouncer would not let me in after I paid. He started saying if I was confused. I did not get my money back. I was very polite the whole time and he still wanted me to leave. Worst experience ever.

Was in PBR Hampton last night with some friends and the new Buckle Bunny from Italy with a strong accent and wears glasses is the only Buckle Bunny worth visiting at the bar and dancefloor. She was approachable, accommodating, not to mention beautiful and nice. The other girls seemed immature and as if they were in competition with each other. Their attitude made for a toxic and tense atmosphere that I could feel as a customer. The manager needs to check their attitude, the PBR team has a reputation to uphold and from my perspective is not doing a good job controlling these girls. The drinks here are average, with nothing special to taunt about. Menu is geared more towards a junior inexperienced drinking crowd (25>), nothing special. The bar on Guy Fieries side is the better of the two options. I gave PBR Hampton 3 stars for the tense atmosphere by its employees. Looking forward to coming back and meeting with the Italian Buckle Bunny, I highly recommend you do to.

I absolutely enjoyed it. I know its weird but Im 23 and had yet to go to a bar but its a really fun time if you hang with the right crowd or a good group of friends. Only thing is, after about 11pm (which I know is when it picks up) but the bartender as much as she tried to hide it, you could still tell she got a bit of an attitude toward one of my friends and quite possibly others Id hate to think shed be that way deliberately towards one person, as she was trying to order. But over all the drinks were really good, and hope to try the food soon.

This was a nice place to visit if you are a person who can try different scenery and be around others races than your own. The workers were very friendly and the food was great and my friends all said they had a great time. The main event was the bull ride and it was a challenge for the three out the the five that went that decided to ride!! I am given them give stars Great Job on one of there busy nights Halloween Night woohoo. Custume was great, live band was playing and the scenery was awesome!!

Great atmosphere, great food, and some of the best karaoke singers Ive heard in a long time. I had to constantly look to see what it a recording . The service was also top notch. Dont get me started on the food. I had the nachos and they really delivered. Keep it up.

I’ve never seen a bartender be able to handle white bar by herself like kayma. She is very attentive and quick when it comes to her service.

It was an ok country bar scene, they tried with throwing out a few hip hop jams but lets be real its mostly a country/western type of scene. The drinks were good, I ordered up Long island ice teas. The bartender did a great job mixing.

Went there with a group and we were all having a great time dancing until they interrupted it to have some terribly constructed costumed bull and chicken “fight” in the middle of the dance floor. Look, we get it. Get your publicity stunt for social media out there, but don’t take the whole dance floor for multiple songs while we all stand there watching your waitresses hump. So after about 10 min of this we had enough and just got in the middle to dance. A woman in our group got SHOVED by a waitress, then I get aggressively pushed and yelled at by another! Keep your employees in check PBR, we keep you in business remember that.

I had the opportunity to go to the reboot last night. My wife and I had a blast. We were part of a VIP event for select people. We were able to have an open bar last night from 7 to 9. The overall vibe was elevtric last night. The beer and spirits were flowing. The bar staff and the PBR girls were gorgeous and engaging. Watching people getting on the mechanical bull. Fun...Fun. As VIPS were given samples fron Guy Fieris pizza. Yummy. DJ was turning out tunes for all ages. Dance floor was packed. I really had an outstanding time. Looking forward to going back.

Lively country bar with a mechanical bull dead-smack in the middle of the room. Its a crazy good time. Get there early around 830 or 9 and beat the madness as it will really pick up around 10. Also try the wings. Theyre dope.

There are like 2 actual clubs in the 757, and this is one of them. Not really my jam, but people love it. A little (lot) country-ish, but youll always have an interesting time.

Its such a fun place to be the dancing and singing and bull riding. Access to drinks every where you go. Comfortable smoking areas. Clean restrooms with hygiene products. It is a great place for a great night

Was scammed into wasting my time and gas to drive here for the re-boot party. Entered a an online contest to win “VIP” and was selected as one of the winners. I confirmed with 2 women via email and RSVPd through the online registry like I was directed to. I drove 42 minutes after getting off work online to be told at the door that it had ended at 7. I tried explaining that I had entered the contest and was given VIP access for the re-boot party and that I was never told I had to be there at certain time, but the security guy at front checking IDs completely disregarded me and said $5 entry. I immediately left and went to Eagles Nest in Chesapeake and had a fantastic time. I will never waste my time and money at this place ever again. SCAMMERS AT BEST

Dude I LITERALLY waited an hour to close out my tab and it wasnt even busy. Pls get more bartenders. To the point where my friends came 30 min later and we all posted up at different spots at the bar trying to get my tab. They still got it before me...

Mixed crowd love the energy no drama drinks on point.

Had a great Bartender over at PBR who have great drink suggestions all night. We got there early around 8 with it still being a bit quiet -which wasnt a bad thing- and things picked up as the night progressed. We had a great time and go to Karaoke on Thrusdays at Tapps all the time.

Its a club, which Im not big on. If youre in to country western music and scenery though, its a great spot to line dance, ride a bull, and meet some locals. Polite staff and a safe atmosphere to get your party on.

Dancing and drinks were great. Ordered nachos and it took FOREVER, our amazing bartender did comp up some great quesadilla though so it wasnt all bad. When the nachos finally arrived they were very soggy.

This place is awesome! Not one complaint! Not only is the DJ great and the atmosphere fun but the staff is great as well. Drinks are priced fairly. Staff is very friendly including the awesome bathroom attendant and security. The bartenders are amazing! The place has 2 dance sections. When I was there they had a DJ and a ragtime band in the other.

I had a wonderful time this evening. The drinks were great the music was great the food was good. The bull riding part was fun and the people who manned the bull riding was very enthusiastic when patrons wanted to ride it. But it was a good first time!

It used to be a really fun establishment. Nowadays the bartenders over serve most of the patrons and they end up vomiting all over the place, causing scenes or harming themselves or others. If you are a little older, like myself, looking for a relaxed, fun dancing club; this is NOT it..

It has a good atmosphere overlooking the water in the back, which is a very large area. The bartender worked hard to fill our drink orders. But the real problem was waiting 2 hours for 2 hamburgers before a concert. The place had an average crowd but they clearly could not handle food and drink orders.If they could fulfill simple food orders than this place would merit a better review.

Food was great, service at Tapps was terrible. There were no waitresses on a friday night. But PBR is amazing! Always a great time no matter who i go with. There is a bartender named Andrew that is by far the greatest ever.

Left my debit car with a tab at the bar when I left. Only thing is that j didnt get charged for any drinks. Pbr decided to use my card for uber rides when the bar closed. I will be talking with your manager and possibly filing with the police for petty theft.

Always have a great time at PBR. Theres a great mix of music and the place is large enough so that you dont feel cramped. The guys operating the bull are always friendly and often times pass cowboy hats and gloves to you when they want to make it more flashy. Ill definitely keep going back.

This review is specifically for Tapps and our amazing bartender/manager. We went in on a Wednesday or Thursday night, PBR was holding a corn hole competition lol so we stayed in Tapps. The food was great, the service was remarkable, and I would love to come back for the weekend to see more of PBRs party side.

Great place to have a beer or two! A bit pricey tho. It looks like a barn, they even have a mechanic bull that you can ride if you feel like it. The price is a bit high but totally worth it! The waiters show a little buns and dance around. Also a lot of people show up so it is definitely a change from Norfolk area bars. They even have pool tables and a smoking patio.

Good staff working there and beer is responsibly priced.

Pretty big place, the DJ wasnt all that great the night we went and its definitely Country-heavy.. but thats really what it is, a country bar, so I cant complain too much about that. Drinks were reasonable and my group had a lot of fun.

This place, 1st bartenders are slow, took 20 minutes to get just a beer after he asked what I wanted, the dude was too busy trying to flirt and look cool in front of the girls. After finally getting a drink I had too pee. Couldnt bring the drink in the bathroom. DJs start Playing a good song and then stop. They either start talking or start playing a different song. Dont start playing a good song and get the crowd into it and all of a sudden switch to a different song or nothing. Let it play. A bouncer sat there and watched me light a cigarette on the patio and then told me to put it out because the patio was closing. Why did he wait for me to light it? Stupid asses. I cannot recommend to anyone anymore.

If you are a minority, I wouldnt recommend this place. It almost felt as if I was being singled out and I was dressed nice. Yet there were white guys in there dressed in ripped t shirts, dirty jeans, and cowboy boots . The security are a holes for no real reason. Surprised there isnt a lawsuit. Only thing decent is drink prices.

If youre planning a night out or to watch a a main sporting event....DO NOT GO HERE! This money hungry establishment charge $20 cover charge (nothing included but trying find a place stand without getting runover by a waitress thats for tables ONLY).To top things off most tables had only 1 to 3 people max per table or booth or completely empty. Management choose the remove tables from the normal dining area and also NOT offer any shot girls or floaters to help serve their standing guest.In closing DO NOT GO HERE AND WASTE YOUR NIGHT OUT because of bad service.

We were here for a CHKD charity event and they ran out of chicken, four different local craft beers, and couldnt even play the electric slide for a line dance. Did we surprise them with the charity event? Dance floor was sticky and drink pours light. The band TAPPS was fantastic!!!!

We went tonight. I had 4 long islands, husband had 4 jack and cokes, we ate dinner ( 11 dollars meals each) and somehow charged 125 !!!! Im disputing it with our bank! We had to leave in a hurry because I was injured. Not going back to this bar ever again!!!
