My son had so much fun here. Its a great inexpensive way to get out of the rain or heat and the kids are learning while having fun.

Brought my 4 year old and he had a blast!! They offer a wide variety of fun activities for children to learn and play with. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are not to bad but I feel since parents are only there to supervise their children the price on adult omission could be a little cheaper.

My son is only 2 years old and they had a good variety of things for him to do.

There are all kinds of things to do. Lots to learn. Lots to see. My kids really enjoyed it.

Rather small, but not bad for the price. A few of the interactive exhibits didnt work right, and the way the art room was handled (open only certain times, but no posted schedule) was confusing.

Kids had such a blast! There were so many activities and so many opportunities to learn! Great people. Great price. Most importantly a great time!

We had a wonderful time at the Louisiana discovery children’s center. We took our two youngest children and they had a blast. We weren’t expecting so many different things to do at the center.

Mega fun. The kids loved it. Will be back.

We visited here with two adults, a 13 year-old, an 8 year-old, and a 5 year-old. It cost $40 ($8 for each of us). I was looking to spend 3-4 hours in Hammond while waiting to get together with a friend.This was a great spot. The 13 year-old was bored, but we took walks around town while the other two kids enjoyed the museum.The bathrooms were very clean, as was the museum.No complaints.

Pretty Cool to entertain a toddler, not terribly expensive, nice places to dine on the next block over.

For the price, there are better options. My kids only had fun for maybe an hour and then there was nothing left to do. They need more exhibits.

Such an adorable place for a birthday party! The kids (ages 1-10) loved it. And Mom and Dad didn’t have to break the bank to have it there.

Best place in Hammond to have a great family day. They have great exhibits and play areas for all age children even the big kids like us

Brought my 2 year old here and he loved it. Make sure you or your kid are wearing non skid shoes, the ramp by the bubble area can be slippery. Also the toddler area has the AC blasting towards it so pack a light sweater if youre like me and get cold easily, your little one will probably being having too much fun to notice though lol.

The place is ok. My almost 2 year son ran around a good bit and seemed to enjoy it. I think at one time the place was probably extremely nice. I noticed its starting to show some wear and more than a couple of items/displays were broken or non functioning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and overall the place was clean so I cant deduct too much from the rating. If youre looking for something to keep your kid(s) busy for an hour or two itd be worth visiting.

This is a nice little place. It is not giant, but big enough to keep kids entertained. It also allows parents to relax a bit. There is a decent amount of seating, and your child can visit multiple exhibits and still be in full view. A very nice place to spend an afternoon.

So many of the attractions were not working. It was very disappointing for my grand children. It would have been an amazing experience had everything been working. A Childrens Museum without having to go in to New Orleans!! Paying to get in with at least four of the attractions not working. I should have been informed at the payment counter and been able to make a decision as to whether or not we wanted to go in. They are old enough to express their disappoint. Which they did and were ready to leave in a short period of time.

Great childrens museum. Its been a long time since going to the one in nola, but this one didnt disappoint. Close to home and great for the kids on a hot, rainy day. Thinking about a annual family membership. Daily price is a little over $8 for adults and same for all kids over 24 months. Free for those ankle biters under 24 months. Highly recommended.

My granddaughter loved this place. So much to see and do and at a reasonable admission charge. Im going to have to pry her away from here. ;-)

I must say that they did a WONDERFUL job for my daughter’s birthday party today. (November 24th. They was very nice & polite & they also helped me & my family set up the party & we was done on time for the party to start because the party was for an hour which was not bad at all. My daughter had a blast here & I wouldn’t mind having her another birthday party here again. Everything went smooth & less stressful. if it wasn’t for the helpers that was in the room with me helping with the food & decoreation. I don’t know if I would’ve been done in time lol but Thank y’all so much!! My daughter enjoyed herself.

An amazing place for small kids to use their imaginations.

There are some cool things to play with here, but its more of a play center than a dicovery center as there are only like 3 exhibits. A great place to go to get out of the house and keep cool!

My niece and nephew love this place. I get in free cause I am a veteran. Kids play for hours on end here. The arts and crafts area is awesome too

Wonderful place such a great atmosphere to bring families to your children will love it. they cater to all ages some of the adults will have a blast as well. The staff is very friendly its just a great environment

We brought our daughter for her second birthday along with two other children, 5 and 4, and all of them absolutely loved it. The price was great and there was something for every child. We will certainly be going back

Loved this place for kids, much better than the NOLA childrens museum. The staff was friendly and the play areas were clean. I would advise calling ahead because field trips can over crowd things.

We went on a weekday, very friendly staff and our 2 yr old loved everything there!

Many of the bubble play area exhibits were not functional. The loud sound sounds at each exhibit were overwhelming to my child who has sensory processing issues. Staff not friendly.

Very cute place for the littles!

There was alot to do with my toddler children! They especially loved the bubble construction, train and hot air balloon exhibit. There was also a some things for older children to do. My nephew loved the dunking and bag toss exhibit. We stayed for 2 hrs and there were still a couple areas we didnt get to. Great family experience and would definitively visit again.

Best place for kids under 12. All kind of activities for all ages. They have excellent employees. Will play with your kids. They also have an art room for kids to draw and make crafty things. Take your kids here at least once. They do special things for kids every weekend.I love it. I bring my kids here all the time. Also there is a park close by.

Such a fun place in Hammond! Indoors so its nice and cool during the summer. Not too big so its easy to keep track of the kiddos.

My kindergarteners had the time of their lives at the Discovery Center on our field trip. The staff is amazing too. Well definitely be coming back for field trips in the future.

3 year old with me had a great timeA number of students from a school seemed to enjoy it. I found gift shop prices fairly reasonable. Entrance fee seemed a bit high.

The Museum staff, in particular the Floor Manager exhibited racist attitudes toward the minority students and parents from O. W. Dillon Leadership Academy! We wont be back and will spread the word to our other schools in the parish.Met today with Mrs. Schwebel and Mr. Philpot concerning the field trip experienced by my students and staff. Their administration was very professional and proactive. We were able to reach a common accord on corrective actions to insure that our experience was an isolated incident and not any reflection on the organization and its purpose. I now feel very comfortable in recommending the continued support of the Museum and its mission.
