The Salty Dog Museum

It was a pleasure to meet the owner and his son. We had a private tour of his collection. This place is such a great “ he built it himself” heartland story. My granddaughter even was given her first Hot Wheel at the end.

A very nice car museum in the small town of Shandon, OH. If you are visiting the town, you should definitely stop by and take a look! The people working there were very friendly and I definitely enjoyed the visit.

Excellent, great cars, motorcycles, and fire trucks (one is spectacular), lots of memorabilia — several antique race cars — friendly staff, located north of Cincinnati along a scenic road in Ohio farm country.

Great museum thats always clean, everyones always nice. The fire museum is phenomenal, I love the seagrave hook and ladder truck.

Good museum and restoration shop. A Butler County treasure.

A must visit for the fire engine and car enthusiasts. Also the place of the FIRST Welsh settlement in Ohio.

Fantastic display of American Heritage, beautifully done and on display, close up. This is special and worth the trip. Mark is a special guy

Check out the old fire engines.

Went for ohio open doors but they wouldnt allow people to see fire trucks. On the website the video they said the have no ropes and want people to interact with the cars but we found that this wasnt true many cars say dont touch. Owners were not interested in talking about their cars.
