Amazing time! We went here at Christmas for the Festival of Lights. Absolutely outshone the Niagara Falls Festival of lights. We went last wee for a car show (Cavalcade of Cars) and once again it was fantastic. Great venue for all sorts of functions and events. Not too far from Ontario and less traffic by far.

I was amazed at how much parking was available. I was there for the Christmas craft fare. Lots of interesting arts and crafts for gift giving. Its just on the veterans day long weekend. I was there on Friday and I will be going back on Sunday.

Christmas in the country gets bigger & better each yr. Come 1st thing in the am. as by early afternoon too many people & you cant stop & take time 2 really view all the items.

I mean the demolition derby was fun, but Im not a fan of the fair in the first place. Ill go when I can enter for a can of chili, or something, or when the Philharmonic is playing. The last day of the fair has the best event, usually.

Absolutely love the fair. Without a doubt one of my favorite things to do in the summer. We went twice this year and still didnt see everything we wanted to. Its a little pricey but totally worth it to me.

Christmas in the country is a show we have done since 1992. Plenty of places to eat and have fun. Love Hamburg.

Went with the family to Buffalo Raceway to celebrate a birthday. We all had such a great time. All of the workers were unbelievably friendly & accommodating. We laughed all night and even got a picture on the track with a horse. We reserved a birthday package. A fun night with the family & playing the horses.

I went to the worlds largest yard sale in May there! It was GREAT!I got a lot of GREAT bargains! They have food vendors there too! They also have another sale in September! Dont miss it!

I am very disappointed with the way the grandstand was set up for last night’s performance for Darci Lynn! She was amazing but my family couldn’t see anything. We had tickets in TR5 row F seats 23-25. They were horrible. The only thing my husband could see was the Dodge Ram truck sign. The stage was small and misrepresented when I was deciding on tickets. We will not be buying event tickets with this venue again. In addition the lines to enter the arena were outrageous! There wasn’t any staff or security to direct people until 10 minutes before the show was supposed to start. People were cutting the line that we had been waiting in for 30 minutes. The show was delayed 30 minutes because of it. The whole event was ill prepared.

Good times. This fair is Huge! A lot to see.

Erie County Fair. I was a participant in an American Flag Retirement ceremony each evening at Slade Park at 6:30 pm., this occurred each day that the fair was in operation. This flag was than presented to an honored veteran of the day.

The fair was pretty nice When I went this summer. I liked the one stand that I went to with the alligator meat it was good. I like the place thought it is nice and peaceful

The Erie County Fair is wonderful. I have missed it over the years....must come back next year to go to it again!!! Love, love, love!!!

Really nice grounds and easy to figure out where things are. We went for a friends wedding and they put up signs so we knew where to go. Plenty of parking and the venue was very nice!

The food while I was at the fair was amazing. The rides were fun. And the people are so friendly. Definitely recommend going for next year

Great fun, tasty food of any type of food no matter what youre hungry for. All at a great price. If you go enjoy and make sure to see the butterfly exhibit.

Went to watch the horses run tonight, had a great time! We went with a group from church, there were over 100 of us. Our package included dinner, 11 horse races and a $5 voucher for casino, what a great time!!

Greatest county fair around. Lots to see and do. Admission prices are very reasonable. Good selection of free concerts too.

Too expensive. Very rude staff. It was a ripoff; $25? Not acceptable!! Won’t go this place again.

Always something fun all seasons

Went to the festival lights last night absolutely beautiful kids had a wonderful time, so did the adults.

The fairgrounds Christmas lights were excellent.

Went today for Worlds Largest Yard Sale. Honestly I was little disappointed. There were a lot of tables but It seemed that perhaps things were picked over? The event went on yesterday as well. I ended up buying some wine( wine season is upon us!) some small odds n ends, doughnuts, and sweet rolls! Perhaps the selection was better yesterday, not sure. I think today, I may have gotten better things at a neighborhood sale and I could have saved myself the gas/drive.

Had a great time with my family! Lots of awesome rides and great food! A little crowded but it wasn’t bad!

Love the variety of entertainment & shows they bring. Attended the Home Show this past weekend, if you have never been, mark you calenders for next year! So many great local businesses, so many great ideas for your home!

Very nice grounds, so much to do and see! I recommend going with a plan, so you can experience as many events as possible. But, whatever you do, do not miss Hilby the skinny German juggle boy. You will laugh so hard!

Hamburg Fairground we went on a Sunday afternoon we walked around visit all the cattle the pigs see all the attractions we stopped and had the barbecue sandwich for lunch which was excellent a bomb its over there by the grandstand area it is excellent we thought it was great weather was nice and sunny and warm

The Erie County Fair is the best county fair I’ve ever been to. There are always awesome food vendors as well as free shows and exhibits, and the animal barns are state of the art and highly educational, especially for those coming down from the city who might not otherwise get to see farm animals up close and personal. The fair admission ticket also gets you access to wonderful free music and entertainment. The grounds and buildings are well kept and most of the facilities are wheelchair accessible. The Hamburg Fairgrounds buildings are also used for many other events year round besides just the fair.

Always fun, love going to the fair every year, the directing of traffic could be a little better, but definitely a highlight of my year.

Its a typical County Fair I suppose and we hadnt been to it for 5 years we went to see my brother-in-law bid on a steer and when and also saw another close friend and see her prize horses that she competed with we also saw some kids with Innovative technology displaying their Wares of Robotics and 3D imaging ate some of those typical Fairground Yummys and spent an enjoyable four hours.

Nice fair, clean bathrooms, lots of food and exhibits.

It is a big complex with ok food. Most times i go for the flea markets or car shows. There is one problem... there is too many buildings so you cant really find the one your looking for. Just look for the casino if you want to go to the enclosed ones.

Went for a craft show. It was nice but really busy.

My one year old had so much fun at his first trip to the fair. I absolutely loved the little hands on the farm area, such a great idea. But as we all know the fair is one of those places you end up eating way more than you should and spending way more than you planned.

I had a great time at the Erie county fair, I learned that I am not in the shape that I used to be, although I have a few medical problems going on right now. But the rides definitely took a huge toll on me. I will say that I was in absolute Heaven with all of the horses and other exotic animals.

Ive been going to this fair since I was a little kid, and its always been the highlight of Summer. This year was the first time Ive been back in at least 30 years, and even though Im an adult I still had a great time! The fair is very large (largest in US still?) and has extensive livestock, 4H, and antique shows. Traditional fair food stands ok, but there are local BBQ places (Weidners) which was really good. Dont listen to it people who say the fair and good is expensive... It is not. There is something for everyone, definitely worth checking it all out.

Saw Buffalo Bills and Christmas lights. Very enjoyable.

Lots of walking and delicious food. T ry the pot roast stand.

Where else would one go to get away from the everyday. Fun, food and music, plus, well use your imagination.

We had a a wonderful vi in it to the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights! The lights are wonderful this year, and spread out over the grounds very nicely. The rest was very fun, as well! Lots of fun activities for the whole family! We really enjoyed taking pics with the many photo OP areas. My favorite was the Pink Bunny jammies!

I was really excited to go to this fair during my visit away from NYC.That is, until I realized that a circus with real Animals will be used...(is this 1990?)I won’t step foot in this fairground until Animal acts are replaced with some actual entertainment. Animal cruelty just doesn’t seem enjoyable to me

I took my husband in his power wheelchair here to the Shriners circus and had a great time. They have a lot of children-oriented events so there was a lot of downtime for us. You have to make sure they know you need wheelchair seating when you get your tickets. They were very nice to us.

Thought they would be more up to date and join other venues around the country banning circuses that still use animals. Hope they get with the times as people become aware of the reality of using animals for entertainment -

The Fair is always AMAZING! Its one of the main reasons I come back to visit. All of the other events are great as well. Bathrooms are always clean and the new agricultural educational building is wonderful.
