Absolutely beautiful! One of my favorite parks! I enjoy walking through its various walking trails and taking in the scenery while listening to music or writing poetry. In late summer and early fall it is particularly beautiful. Amateur and professional photographers alike will appreciate the photogenic nature scenes. A wonderful place to go jogging or simply take a nature stroll or meditate in nature beside the creek relatively undisturbed. With the walking paths and playground, it is a delightful place to take the family for a picnic or to grill. With its fair variety of North Texan plant life, those who enjoy dabbling in botany are also sure to enjoy a visit.

A pleasant winding concrete trail, no twisted ankles - easy access for wheelchairs bikes and strollers. The part of the trail surrounded by trees is short but enjoyable. I have seen rabbits and all types of birds along the trail. Large swing set for the children. It looks as though they are refurbishing the childrens play area at this time.

This is a nice park to have a leisurely stroll through. It is in a quiet location and it really has a decently long trail to walk. Mosrly used by the students of Haltom High School during the school year, it is still a good park for a family outing.

I enjoy this park. However, every big rain, so much litter gets trapped in the vegetation. This is a flood area, especially near Fossil Creek. If you can, bring a bag, and help out!

This is a really nice park. The main playground off the parking area has bathrooms (but no baby changing facilities). There is a large shaded picnic area by the bathrooms, and picnic benches here and there along the trail. There are at least two playgrounds, and quite a warren of trails through the woods in addition to the paved walkway. Several of the trails lead down to the creekside, so folks can really get into nature ;)Monitor your children carefully though. The trails are winding and every area looks similar. A lone wanderer could very quickly dash out of reliable earshot, and the park *is* near major roadways.

Nice trails and ok parks. Didnt like all the cussing and graffiti on the playground but the playground itself was cute for my 1 year old. Trails were nice but when you got to the end of it, the parking lot had glass all over the ground in a few parking spots. It was sketchy and weird so we turned around quickly, partly because we were worried about our car being in the other lot and 2 because it was getting dark and there is barely any light there.

Tons of trash, facilities are aged and beat up. Not much to look at along the trails and paths are not very wide considering bikes are popular here. You can do worse but can definitely do better in the area.

I love walking around this beautiful park, it’s located within a safe neighborhood. Main path goes around Haltom City high school. Nice and long distance to run, bike ride & walk. There’s a small body of water that opens up into a larger area and apparently you can catch some fish. Has two playgrounds and many shaded wooded areas. Peaceful, clean & mostly secluded park.
