Not sure why there were so many poor reviews. Played a very quick round and course was in fair shape for how late in the season was. Grounds crew was staying vigilant to clear leaves.

Im really suprised. I am here for holiday. Dont have clubs with me. Yesterday I went to Bethpage Yellow. Rented clubs and gone 9 holes. Got very old and incomplete set of clubs( old people style full of rescue woods and no iron 5). The course is also not in good conditions in Bethpage Yellow.Today I am here and see the other side of the Medal.New Taylormade clubs for rent( just 25$ instead of 40$ in Bethpage). The course is in very good conditions. Wether was hot today. The course is exiting.All a golfers heart can wish.Only one thing is, the balls are a little bit expensive. But...nice ladys at the Bar smiling that away.Thanks for the good day :-).

Had an awesome round there. Pretty quiet at 8:15 during the week. Greens where very tough and the course was pretty wet but it had rained heavily leading up to the tee time the day or 2 before. Seemed like it drained pretty well. Def will be returning.

Great value for the priceCourse is a challenge. Some greens need a bit of care but well worth the fee. Course is layed out very tight so it can be walked if you dont mind some elevation changes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Course is in terrible shape, Greens have just as much crab grass as the concrete like tee boxes. This course has gone completely down hill over the years and as of my last round (August 15th 2020) I would have trouble actually referring to this place as a golf course rather than a public park with some odd mowing patterns. $50 to play a round of golf on a Cow Pasture is a mistake I won’t be making again. If they offered some free rounds I would still consider other options first. Staff is always nice/helpful, no complaints on that end. An honest rate to play a “course” in this condition would be around $15 w/ cart.

Availability of tee times and price is great! Course is good for the price but could use some work on the greens.

Great people work there,very helpful. However greens were not in good shape. 55.00 a round is expensive with bad greens.

We had to wait 15 minutes for this guy watering the green to move out of the way! We were waving our clubs and yelling and we know he saw us. He ignored us which made me feel very annoyed. I also think that it seems very unprofessional to leave the sprinklers on in the middle of the day. My clubs were soaked! There is also a lot of brush not taken care of, It’s very hard to see the green. I did love that they had someone selling drinks in a cart. Very smart! I also think that they need to rebuild some of the bridges and steps. The bridges have holes and are unstable. And the steps are like climbing mountains. They are very badly made and very steep.

Very nice layout of course, needs work on some greens. But overall a fun time and challenging holes. Looking forward to playing again soon.

Me and my son went to this golf course and i was an awful experience. The fairway was filled with rough patches, also it was hard as a rock. I don’t even want to get started with the greens. They had holes, weeds, and bear spots. The course is in an overall rough shape with the washed up bunkers to the horrible tee boxes. This course is not the great experience. You can find a course better than this that is the same price or cheaper.

This course has potential. I read previous reviews and was told by a friend minebrook is a nice layout but was not well maintained. They were right. I loved the course layout. It was fun but the tee boxes and the greens were some of the worst ive played on. Price to play made it worth playing here. I would play again becaused i enjoyed the track but the tee boxes and greens need serious work.

Condition of the greens were HORRIBLE couldnt get a true putt Who ever is responsible let for the maintenance of the course should be collecting 600 a week on unemployment starter was great cart girl also great Guy behind the counter had the personality of a friend lobster YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME HOLF THERE AGAIN shame on who ever owns it

I had the pleasure of being the DJ for a Sweet 16 this past weekend. Beautiful renovated venue with a great staff. The food was excellent. The dessert was especially delicious! Course conditions very poor. Guy in the office blamed weather but it look very bad. Other courses in area got bad weather too but course not this bad. Some greens un put able. Its shame, cause it is a nice course.

Pauline Saunders and her staff were excellent. Had my daughters sweet 16 there a few months ago, and everything was perfectPauline went out of her way to make the night extra special - and was there the entire evening!Would definitely recommend this venue - mainly due to Pauline!

We just hosted our kids first birthday party there, and it was a great experience. Very courteous and professional staff, the food was fantastic. They were very flexible with arrangements and accommodating.

Terrible!! 4 greens were covered with plastic and the fairway became the green.

Tough weather this year and it shows. But course is in better than expected considering. Staff helpful and really appreciates you being there.

This was my first time there and being there for a fundraiser was a good time with the staff inside the bar area. As far as the outside, the greens were poorly maintained, the greens keeper was EXTREMELY RUDE AND IMPOLITE, and people say this course is for novice...how can novice and people new to this course enjoy it when your being told to hurry up continuously. The greens were extremely inconsistent and I understand there are the challenges fo this but care of the greens were in piss poor shape. There was debris all over the fairways, the tee off markers look like the trash just painted and thrown there...this will never be a trip for me, ever again and I will put my vote for next year NOT to have that fundraiser there AGAIN..

Nice golf course!

Friendly staff. Occasionally has golf with breakfast and lunch options. Course is challenging, greens are small but well maintained. Lots of dog legs, narrow fairways, trees line fairways. Not very forgiving if you dont hit the ball straight. Bar afterwords has a small assortment of draft beers and lunch menu is limited.

Had a great bit of fun here. Its a difficult course for me as a above par golfer hehe. Even with all the rain we got the day before the course was still dry and I was surprised by the lack of mosquitoes but they dont really have control over that.

I alway enjoy golfing here. Well maintained.

Okay course to start the season. Excellent value, very inexpensive.

We went for mothers day brunch. The food was great and the staff went out of their way to make sure the desserts were safe for my child with food allergies

Course has a nice layout, prices are reasonable, and the pro shop is well stocked. Only downside is the cart path nazi that follows you around and cries if youre three feet past the no carts sign. Seriously three feet. Other than that I love playing this course.

Worst course Ive played at all summer. Ive played over 20 times at various public courses in NJ so far and this was by far in the worst shape. The tee boxes were so hard that in order to place your tee into the ground we had to use the divot repair container to hammer in the tee!! Fairways were basically dirt to very thin grass, making every fairway shot a pretty difficult lie. Greens were actually in decent shape and made the only positive aspect of the round. Save your money and go elsewhere, mine brook is not worth the money.

Played Minebrook this week and as usual, the course is pretty beat up. You still pay full price even though its off season and there are no tee box markers, ball washers, etc... The course is good if youre local, but not a good value relative to other publics in the area. e.g. Farmstead

Course is in terrible condition. Its just mud everywhere. No grass on tee boxes. Most greens are missing spots of grass.

I golf here once a month. Its become our go to course.

Horrble course conditions. Dangerous steps up to tee areas . cart paths are horrible with pot holes every where. Lots of rot spots on the greens and tees. Will not return to play that scrappy course again . New owners are not like the Palmer Group.

Great rates on fees & food specials

I was at an event here a few months ago and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The event hall was not in good shape, food was horrible, and most notably the manager, Pauline, was not helpful. She did not follow directions at all, complained often, and lied and made excuses to not do her job. She made our time here much less enjoyable.

Pros- Friendly Customer Service, Rangers, Beverage CartCons- Tee Boxes were not maintained at all. Swinging in sand or dirt or high grass. Greens were in poor condition ball was jumping all over the place, Fairways were uneven with ditches and some holes. Some had no grass.I would not play this course again until they completely overhaul it.
