Such a great experience! The staff was super friendly (they even took pictures and videos, edited them and sent them to us!). I wish I could remember the guys name who helped us (Nov 7th @ 8pm). He was awesome! Definitely would go again!

Without a doubt the best place and most unique place to go for a few hours with the girls and have an amazing time. Outstanding adult entertainment center, is that a thing? We made a reservation about a month ahead for the escape room and ended up doing the rage room which was crazy fun. I never though breaking stuff would be such a good time! They have those huge inflatable balls that you get in and so much more. A totally unique place unlike any other I have ever been to.

Wow! This place shouldnt be called just Escape Room as its so much more. The staff was amazing they are so much fun, they obviously enjoy their job and it really shows. We smashed stuff in their destruction room and then played with the big knocker balls slamming into each other. The escape room was really fun, well thought out and so much to do that our group of 10 never had down time. We escaped from the horror room with 2 minutes to spare.

When you call for the hackensack location they tell you they are sold out but when you just show up there is a bright orange sticker that says closed by the health department... the place looks discusting from the outside. Today I went with a group of friends to the escape room. We did the detective mode of the game.If you are a person who love to solve riddles, then this is opportunity you should take advantage of.If you are not good at solving much riddles. This is still an opportunity for you as well. You do not solve this by yourself you go with a group of friends. Overall I had a great time. I can see my self trying this again. SO MUCH FUN!! I did the detective story with my family and we had so much fun. We did although spend more time laughing then we did actually solving the case, but we had a lot of fun! Tony was a great host that helped us out during our case there. Highly reccomend every to come here!

My experience with Lucy, the store manager was amazing. She was professional, gave us a tour of the facility and was very detailed. She explained how everything works at the facility. She covered everything -parking, arrival time and different types of events, food, beverages etc. She was able to customize the event to make sure our needs were met. Thank you!

The staff is unprofessional and condescending. There is no sense of respect for their patrons. This is the worst escape the room in existence and I’m shocked that it is still open. Not only that, you will see with some reviews that they’ve rated this place’s other locations the same way (5 stars). It’s sad to see how desperate this company is by having to make fake reviews. LOVED THIS ESCAPE ROOM!!! It was my first time doing it and I went with my fiance. Lucy, the game master, was TERRIFIC! We did the S.W.A.T room and we were 2 clues away from detonating the bomb. Unfortunately my fiance isnt the thinking type so most of it was on me. It was challenging with all the hidden compartments, thinking, numbers etc and was well worth the money. Definitely without a doubt going back.

It’s a great indoor activity that really gets the whole group involved! Richard was the best and even helped our not so native ax throwers succeed!

Excellent! Loved it! I went with my 16-year old daughter on Presidents Day and we had the horror themed room to ourselves. I did not expect the escape to be as difficult as it was. Very very challenging and thought provoking. It was a great bonding and team building experience. Highly recommend. Will do it again in a heartbeat!

We went as a team building exercise. Our group was split in two and both our groups were able to find our way out of the rooms. We then moved to the lower level and worked together to accomplish 60 second tasks. We worked together and the groups bonded in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. I recommend this experience to anyone looking to team build or just a fun evening out.

We were given the swat room!! It was an awesome thrilling experience. The staff (Sha) was very accommodating, we went here without any prior appointment. Would definitely recommend getting this experience.

Hands down the best escape room in New Jersey! My favorite kind of escape rooms have the puzzles that make you want to smack your forhead and shake your head as the answer was right there the whole time. We had quite a few moments like that in the swat team game.The girl running the game was super friendly and they even made sure we got our full time as we ran late getting there but they didnt have a group booked after us so they really went the extra mile.Cant wait to try the scary game!!

I have done many escape rooms and this was by far the worst for me! We would find a clue and then try to to find the next clue using the previous clue we found, we ended up using a hint and it had nothing to do with the clue we found. The clues did not tie in together and it was not in order. We did the SWAT room. I would not come back to this place at all!

Reviews dont lie! We picked this place based solely on the fact that they have the best escape room reviews and they did not disappoint. We played the J0ker and it was a perfect mix of Escape Room and Haunted Houe. No one touches you but they still find ways to scare the life out of you. They also have a RAGE ROOM!!! I cant wait to break stuff.

Went for my daughters 13th birthday party. We had so much fun. The girls were really into it and the parents had a blast too. Cant wait to book an adults night. The staff was so accommodating and really made this experience awesome. So nice to go somewhere where the staff looks like they are having as much fun doing their job as we were experiencing it.

Riddler was amazing the staff was amazing and can you believe we had 25 people in one Game. We hosted a party for my husbands 40th here and from start to finish it was like the staples commercial EASY! I called in and spoke with the guy who helped me pick a package which included the Axe throwing and the Rage room with the Escape room. We ordered the food a couple days before over email and they were so responsive through email, I think that someone wrote back to me about 5 minutes after I sent and email it was something crazy like that, I remember thinking wow. Anyway, the staff worked really hard to make sure we were happy they asked me about a dozen times over 4 hours we were there if I needed anything, how everything was going and really exceeded my expectations.

My boyfriend and I did The Otherside room and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good puzzle. Tony was our game master and made the experience great.

Good experience and great escape room plus the promo at the end was clear but there was not a single sign between the inadequate steeet parking and the front door that reads for party’s. We struggled to find the place for about 20 min. If there was any sign for escape room anywhere it would be 5

We tried this Escape room after our rage room here, and I admit after being in the rage room some part of me wanted to break through everything but I was totally exhausted and actually really liked the puzzles. I havent wanted to do these mostly because I thought they would be nerdy and require all sorts of knowledge that pertains to the game but they totally dont.The game is crafty and the staff as in the rage room are totally cool, involved and having fun with you. I cant say enough good things about the place as a whole. It is probably the most fun place in new Jersey. I still have to try their bumper balls and definitely going to do the axe throwing.

The experience was nice. We tried the vr escape room which was cool, but the booking process was needlessly difficult and time consuming.The 5 times I called, no one picks up. I sent email requesting bookings and got some responses back, but when it came time to confirm, I felt I had to keep following up with them to confirm the booking and payment.

Had a great time with my nephews! The Other Side is great for younger kids, and challenging enough for adults. Will be back.

Had a corporate event here a few days ago and it was fun! They had two rooms that we could escape from and we also did Minute to Win It games. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room (the one I got to do) was challenging and I heard the same for the other. It wasnt too difficult where you needed great knowledge to do it, it was just... clever and I love that!

The next big thing! Seriously, I know escape rooms have been around for a while but this place has so much more. We played virtual reality games and did paintball while we waited to get into an Escape Room. Yes, at the same place! Definitely make reservations to come as they get super busy.

Amazing! Probably one of the best escape rooms in NJ! I had been to the other location in Pompton Lakes, and this one seemed more practical than the other one. Granted, they were both amazing, but I liked this one better. Our game master, Tony, was very helpful. Also, in the near the beginning, Tony complemented us saying that we are very smart. And as we left, we got the feeling that he really wanted us to escape. We made it out with only 3 minutes left in “The Otherside: Horror edition” We were very close to not making it out. Very fun experience. Will try last location, and maybe the S.W.A.T. Room next.

I love coming here. This was my second time doing an escape room at this location and it was just as much fun as the first time. I gathered 18 family and friends to do the other side escape room for my birthday and they didnt disappoint. It was scary and a thrill and everyone enjoyed and had a great time !

At first we felt a little awkward because we got there a little late (around 10:30-11pm) and the place was fairly empty. But when we got into the room, we had a lot of fun and time really flew. The puzzles were pretty confusing and challenging, but you can tell they put a lot of thought into designing these rooms. Personally, my friend and I have tried the detective room but they have a room for people like scary experiences.

AWESOME PLACE! We had a party of 15 people and we did the SWAT escape room and Human bumper balls. Jeff and Danielle were very helpful and patient with me when booking this party and gave us a great package. The escape room was extremely well done and a lot of fun. However, our favorite part was the Human bumper balls! I dont know of any other place in New Jersey that offers this! It was a blast and the girls that helped us had an awesome playlist that really made the experience. I absolutely recommend this place to any one of any age! Cant wait for their new attraction can you escape your D.R.E.A.M.S?!

A very fun and intellectually stimulating experience. I first participated in the regular themed room and then the horrored themed room. Both options were held in the same room, but my experiences were still unique, as I went with two different groups each time. (ADVICE for first timers: if you plan to come back, dont ask for the answers at the end of your session). They also managed to give a surprise birthday gift to my friend after I told someone in advance that we were celebrating her birthday. Lastly, if you like Indian food theres a nice Indian restaurant RIGHT next to the Escape Room building, called Art of Spice.

Professional,Organized, Polite is what I can use to describe the staff here. They make sure your good time is made to every single event one of the lovely ladies Lucy took care of us and really showed us a good time at our station and every other coordinator we bumped into just made it such a great time to every event. Then Shantae with signing waivers and escorting us offering water bottles during our game and making sure we were ok and also our game master and the game was well ran and yes it was hard but it was fun with the family. Best Escape Rooms HANDS DOWN IN NJ! Very well put together rooms and each theme is very cool. You can choose from S.W.A.T or a haunted hotel room called Otherside. Did Both rooms last week with a couple of close friends and we had a blast. We didn’t have have an appointment and they allowed us to walk in anyway which we appreciated the staff was so nice. We waited a half hour while current room was done and we were able to do it at a last minute request as we didn’t know about appointments or anything so kudos to the team for allowing us in last minute because we LOVED IT!! They are doing Virtual Reality & Hachet Throwing soon so we are super excited the Manager Said next week should be opening up!!

A group of friends and I tried the “Escape room Detective version”. We definitely had a lot of fun figuring out codes, puzzles, riddles etc. We get to work as a team and having so much fun at the same time with our awesome game master Chelsea she gave us really awesome clues especially when we were stuck. I will admit I was concerned about this place being ok for my kids (9 &12 year olds) as they were each bringing a friend I also had to think about being responsible for what the other kids see and do.I was pleasantly surprised when our Game Master introduced herself and explained what we would be doing, she was very friendly. I think she must have sensed my hesitation and thus she really tried and succeeded at putting me at ease. The game we played was the not Scary Game, it was great the kids had so much fun and my husband and I were very surprised at how much fun we had. The hour flew by and we didnt escape, but we came very close and honestly wanted more time! Loads of fun was had by all and we cant wait to play the bomb game they have next. The other kids parents actually heard how much fun we had from their kids and we are going to get a private room for the two families to play together....I cant wait!

Liked the experience. You can write anywhere on the walls and the previous answers could be seen. The puzzles can be a little more challenging.

We do Battle of the Sexes nights and so we had a group of 23 people, all in their later 20s and everyone had a blast. Neither group got out, but the Escape Room peeps made sure they gave us both an equal shot and calculated by tasks who got further in the room so there was an actual winner! Although it probably betters your chance of escaping, I suggest smaller groups of people, as there is so much going on and it gets distracting.I personally was in the SWAT room which was pretty cool, and a good variety of clues to work out. The guys did the Horror themed room, and all had a good time.We will definitely be going back and swap rooms to prove to the guys were just better than them!!

Probably the most intricate and fun escape room Ive been to. (Ive only been to four others) But only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is instead of easing our curiosity after failure, they just offer a 50% off discount to try it again at a later time.I like knowing what the clue I was working on relates to, but I can understand why they wouldnt tell us... So people cant cheat, I guess.Edit: Went back for their scary Other Side room, and it was great. Dont want to give away any good details but it was certainly a solid room. Had a way better experience this time but honestly I was in a better headspace with my group this time, so that was probably the reason.Ive been to 5 different escape rooms and this place is definitely the most technological advanced one.
