Love this park just wish people would be more considerate and pick their trash after themselves.

A quiet place to be, it offered an amazing sunset view. The Park has playgrounds and tables to do a picnic.

Very nice park for family and friends. Ilove the train and boat rides offered by the lions club. They are very affordable prices for them as well. There are multiple patio area to rent as well for family events

Its a very simple & serene place to walk your dog or stroll around the walkway. I love feeding the ducks & wild geese also. Been coming to this park since I was born. Back in the 60s.

Nicely ran park. Restrooms were clean, no trash laying around. Nice place for the kiddos, the train rides& paddle boats are the bomb. Think the kids liked it.

Great place to walk, run and exercise. There’s a lot of trees and animal life (ducks mostly). You can also go fishing, take ride on the train or use one kind of boat with other person. Hope you enjoy your visit cause I really enjoy mine.

Great little spot! Nice long, paved walking/biking path that surrounds the duck pond/lake, with benches and workout equipment (ie pull up bars) along the way! You can even rent paddle boats, which look like fun! A little motorized train runs around the complex for kids and families, and there are plenty of pavilions and playground areas as well. No huge parking lots, but parking isnt really a problem. Awesome place to spend an afternoon!

We enjoy the park. We are visiting from the Land of Enchantment, the great state of New Mexico. They even had paddle boats.

Lots of playground area and parking. Can walk around lake or feed the ducks or use the paddle boats. Lots of places to have a picnic lunch. Can fish there or ride the little train. Love the quiet beauty.

Very nice city park! Clean playgrounds for the children! Plenty of adult activity areas as well! Lions club train is an awsome blast from the past- and well maintained! And dont miss a chance to fish in the lake!

This park was a welcome stop on our family’s long road trip! My only complaint was that it was very hard to find the playground at twilight when we were navigating as first timers. Maybe some better signage to the different parts of the park would help visitors.

Thompson Park or as we locals call it. Sunset Lake or Sunset Park, has a small lake and is stocked regularly for those who enjoy fishing. It has several amenities including a train that is operational during the summer time for riders of all ages. Also has swing sets, merry go rounds, and lots of tables for those who enjoy the out doors.
