Live theater in our small town community! I’ve always heard awesome things about the Pollard Theater! I hope one day to be able to afford & attend one of the many shows they put on every year! Should you want to enjoy a LIVE theatre performance give The Pollard a try!

Came here for the Christmas play, and it was really, really great! Bathroom was pretty crowded during intermission, but we had a blast.

I love this place! I visited it in 2003 and was excited and enchanted by the place. The players are fantastic and really bring you into the story. when I came back dec. 2019 it brought all those feelings back in a flood of nostalgia and near tears. I cant believe I waited so long to come back Im definitely making this a regular entertainment choice from now on.

We saw this years final production of Its A Wonderful Life this afternoon. It was outstanding. A mix of laughter and tears, just as there should be.We saw the production last year and we felt it was even better this year. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.Merry Christmas!Mike Weatherford

Small friendly theater

This was a wonderful experience, I had the pleasure escorting a group of seniors and Pollard was very accommodating in assisting with amatory and non-amatory seating arrangements. I tip my hat to the staff...

Pollard theater is one of Oklahomas best kept secrets. Great shows with talented performers. As a student at Langston back in the 90s, we used to come for class credit. Now as an adult, I have attended shows to support friends. The two latest shows I have seen - Ghost and Beehive - were amazing!! Make the trip to Guthrie. You wont be disappointed.

Such a cute little local theatre. The chairs are old but surprising comfy. Bring a sweater because the air conditioning is strong. Charming and worth the visit.

Great place to see a show. A nice bar across the street for local beer.

Its a Wonderful Life Live Radio Show was fantastic. Put us in the mood for Christmas!

Amazing stay! Best sleep I have had in a long time! Seth, the owner was super cool, the breakfast was delicious!

Go see a show here, you wont be disappointed! The theater is old, very cool, and there isnt a bad seat in the house. I do wish their concession stand took credit cards (a Square account is easy to set up) but thats about my only complaint.

A fabulous venue for theatre!

A very quaint theater located in the center of the historic town in Guthrie. Had a wonderful time. Tonights play, Ghost was shown as a musical & was very much enjoyed.

The production was wonderful. The acting was truly good. I was so surprised very pleased with the quality of the singing. My daughter and I will be back.

Its a Wonderful Life was a great show, performed as an old-timelive radio show. Superb character development with many of the actors playing multiple parts. The script mostly mirrored the 1946 movie of the same name. Worth your time for the drive to Guthrie.

Only reason for the 3 star rating is the lack of adeqate bathroom facilities. Not nearly enough during intermissions. They are clean and well kept. I Love going to this theatre otherwise.

It always surprises me when its a packed house. Im not sure of the overhead but it needs some remodeling. For our particular show it was I think 30.00 a seat x a full house for every show, surely they could allocate some funds for some modernization. And yes I realize its a historic building. That being said, it was an awesome show.

My wife and I have been to the Pollard many times over the past 15 years. We always enjoy the performances. Makes a great date night.. Check before you buy your tickets though. Unfortunately it seems lately some of the shows are not suitable for all audiences.

A must go to if your in Guthrie. Very talented actors and always an amazing line up of plays each year.

Oklahomas year-round theatre company is worthy of a spot on Broadway. Im always amazed at the quality of talent and production in every show at the Pollard. Ive yet to see a bad or amateurish performance.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT EVERY TIME! I have been to the theater many times and plan to see a TERRITORIAL CHRISTMAS this weekend as I try to every year. This is the nicest theater anywhere. I love the old theater ambiance and the cast and crew are always outstanding! Thank you for your consistent excellence!!!

What a treasure this place is. Guthrie is lucky to have the Pollard here. Not only is it beautiful and historically relevant, the staff and performers are amazing. Its obviously professional, cohesive in a way I think only stage productions can be. And they always manage to find productions that seem to have whatever core message I am needing the most when I watch them. Honestly a magical experience. I can not recommend them enough. Please, go to the Pollard. You will thank yourself.

Its a great place to watch a pkay. Not a bad seat in the house. Actors are fantastic. You fwel the history when you walk in the door.

The profomance I saw was very well done. The atmespher of the Pollard is it caters to the whole family. They have handicapped seating as well.

They have the best plays here. Great local enterainers that really enjoy what they do. The Pollard is a really neat place, if you havent ever been, I highly suggest going, its a wonderful historic theater with great new plays and they have a Christmas play that is always a joy to see. We go every year.

Diamond in the rough. Great talent on stage and no better value anywhere in a days drive. Id put this theater company against anything off Broadway. If you want more varied production choices than retreads of Cats and Paint Your Wagon, theres no better choice than to head to Guthrie for a night and get pleasantly surprised by whats on stage at The Pollard Theater.

The local residents that were added to the lineup was a colorful touch, very enjoyable. Very believable acting very funny and very good singing and songs. Overall my wife and I enjoyed the show very much and would recommend it to anyone. In fact I talked to my dentist and his assistant this morning about it, and I am to drop off some advertising for them. Good job group.

Older theater but still has its charms

I cant say enough about the top notch performances this theatre produces. Very talented cast, creative sets, and popular scripts. It is well worth a visit.

My daughter, 9 years old, loved the Pollard! We saw The Little Mermaid and was captivated the moment Ariel stepped on stage.

This place puts on amazing live theatre productions! Its small, but that doesnt mean their plays are lacking in quality. Well worth the price of admission!

Small personal venue. Really enjoyed The Producers. This community theatre production was every but as professional as a big city setting without all the hassles. Guthrie, Oklahoma a small town with antiques shops and with American history and values.

The Pollard is a fun and affordable live entertainment theatre... one of my favs.

Who knew you could see world class theatre in the middle of Central Oklahoma?A few years ago we went to see the Pollards production of Rent and were blown away. The production, singing, and acting were on par, if not better, than the original cast production we saw on Broadway at the Netherlander Theatre in the 1990s.Every year in December the Pollard puts on A Territorial Christmas Story which is their own production of Dickens classic tale, but adapted to take place in 1890s Oklahoma Territory. Weve seen it six years running and it gets better every year. Its a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays.Come to the Pollard if you are in Oklahoma. you wont regret it.

We went to see a play about cheerleaders (Bring it on), and except for the lead cheerleader the singing and acting was just bad. My wife insisted on leaving after 10 minutes. Fortunately, the rest of downtown Guthrie is awesome, and we found other stuff to do.

Lots of fun personable feel in small historic playhouse...the only paid cast in oklahoma has excellent performances.

The show we saw was excellent, and from what I hear that is par for the course. The venue is small enough that every seat is a good seat and the restrooms were clean.

Great intertainment

This theater has absolute terrible customer service. I will never return here to watch a production. My mom and I bought tickets last year to the Christmas production. We arrived 7 minutes late. The couple who arrived right before us were allowed to go in and sit down, no fuss. I, on the other hand, was told I was too late and if we wanted to watch the performance we would have to down grade to back row seats and that is if any were available. The box office manager spoke down to me with attitude and was not understanding at all. She was just plain rude. I have emailed the theater and left two voicemails complaining about how we were treated by her. I never received a response or apology. They, of course, continue to email me wanting me to buy tickets to their latest performance. NO THANK YOU!!! We will NEVER return there.

Owner just took ownership of the property and is in the process of rehabbing it but we think itll be a great one
