Dropped by to donate some computers to the Exploration Station and was so impressed with what I saw! The volunteers associated with this love of science are creating a space center and other wonders of the world for hands on learning.

Fun and educational place for the kids to learn and play through hands-on exhibits. Mellow atmosphere all on one floor, small cement outdoor area for chalk drawings and small basket ball hoop game. May be best for kids 4+, although my 2 1/2 yr old had fun. Kids under 3 are free and other rates are inexpensive. Its a shame we were there for almost 3 hours and no one else showed up. Its worth checking out! It was our first time and Ill be visiting again. It looks like they have various events and activities too. They open at 1pm Thurs-Sat, not 12pm. We showed up early and had to walk around until it opened. Ramona Garden Park has a nice grass area the kids enjoyed running around in, but it tends to be a bit of a homeless hangout.

Small science museum but my kids had a blast! So many activities and exhibits packed into a cool science based museum.

Good people. Come and visit!

Great place for the kids to learn.

This place is not what is used to be. No programs, no activities, we miss the friendly staff that used to be here. It is not as clean, doesnt feel safe and theres nothing new. They need to being back the old staff. These new people dont know what they are doing.

The place is never open. My 5 yr old and I have tried on a number of occasions to check this place out, closed every time. Today, even though the website says theyre open until 0430 apparently they changed there hours sometime back. Screw this well go to the one in SLO.

I have been bringing my granddaughter since she was two. It is inexpensive, kid friendly for all ages and their special events are excellent. We have a family membership now.

Great place to spend a couple of hours exploring with kids. My daughter 11 was engaged with the activities for about 2 hours.

One of my favorite places to go with my family in Grover Beach is Exploration Station. I think learning is always best when it is fun and the interactive exhibits at the Exploration Station are a wonderful family learning adventure.

Very poor customer service when wanting to drop off e-waste. Lady who approached me was rude and offered no assistance to whether my items would be accepted or not.
