Beautiful park with nicely mowed hiking trails. Dogs allowed on a leash. About 75% of the trail is out in the open so be prepared for some sun. Enjoy!

Wonderful walking trails. Exceptionally beautiful in July when the prairie is at its peak.

What a hidden treasure! Well marked and groomed trails. Peaceful surroundings with plenty of resting points and benches. Birds and wildlife abound. New restrooms and plenty of water and picnic tables. Worth the short drive from I-80 at Grinnell.

Love this little gem! Great trails for beginners and moderates. Mostly wide, mowed, grass trails with a lot of open area. (Bring sunscreen!) Great benches throughout to stop and take a water break. An individual loop is great for a beginner hiker. I did both loops at a moderate pace, and it took me about two hours. Will definitely go back!

This is a beautiful place to enjoy nature! Im a visitor to Iowa and thought this was an amazing place. I was so impressed with the upkeep. The programs available for children to learn about nature looked great, as well! So great this is available to everyone!

Nice place to fish or hike. Both places have a nice shelter house to have a picnic.

Cool trails, covers a good bit of land. Theres a few ponds to fish at. Watch out for ticks!
