First of all, I have only ordered online from this store. There are no stores near me. But, that said, I love the Mississippi Gift Company. I particularly like the Mississippi mud pies and cheese straws.

There is some interesting stuff in this store but the majority of it is religiously themed which is understandable for a state where Christianity plays such a large role but it doesnt lead to very diverse gifts. Also having almost everything sold as one variation of a cross or another just isnt that interesting to me. I was hoping for more books, photos, paintings, and /or food items unique to MS.

Greenwood is a beautiful little town in Mississippi. I love this shop. All items appear to be handmade. I would love to sell my work there..if it was only closer.
