My girlfriend and I went to Epic Escape Game on our second date 1.5 years ago. We did the lab disaster, it was challenging, but fun. Then this weekend we did the Cursed Vault, also extremely fun. I actually proposed to her and Epic Escape Game was able to incorporate it into the game. Everything went off without a hitch and she said yes! Epic Escape Game has wonderful staff and fun, yet challenging games. Highly Recommended, will definitely go again!
We had such a great time! We did the Teddy Bear room with our 5 and 12 year old daughters and they had so much fun. JJ took great care of us and made it super enjoyable! We will definitely be back for more rooms.
So much fun. The staff was great and made it exciting. It was our first Escape Room experience, and we will definitely be back for more adventures! Thank you guys so much for the great Saturday night memory!
We chose to go to Epic Escape Game in Greenwood Village for one of our company outings. We needed a venue that could accommodate our 21 person staff and Im proud to say we chose the right place! David and his staff were extremely friendly and even more importantly, very easy to work with. Planning the entire event took less than 10 minutes and they were very flexible when it came to meeting our needs. As you can imagine with a group our size, we had a few people who didnt make it right on time, but the Epic Escape Game team didnt bat an eye. They waited patiently for us all to arrive and then proceeded with the entertainment. We were split into three different rooms which worked out great for pairing people who work in different departments. It has now been almost a week since we went to Epic Escape Game and it is still the center of conversations around the office.Thank you David & team for making our company outing a HUGE success and making me look like a superstar for planning it!
This has become my favorite escape room in Colorado! The puzzles are difficult enough to challenge you, but logically consistent enough that is always feels fair. It has some of the most unique contraptions and solutions of any escape room I have been in.
Escape the laboratory was a challenging room. Very non linear which led to some mild frustration. Puzzles felt a little repetitive but clues were effective and clear. Some unique puzzles were a nice change but some props felt like they needed updating.
Very happy that we participated in the city hunt, it was a fun alternative to an escape room in these days of covid. Glad to support a small business and have some fun in the process:)
We brought our 3 kids to do their first escape room. Andrew was really great with all of us and made it very fun. Our kids had a great time. They made sure there were both easy and more difficult puzzles for all of us to enjoy!
Epic Escape Game is a bit like the MacDonalds of Escape Rooms. They are really great at handling their advertising and business, so tend to be successful and expand a lot. Except in this analogy MacDonalds costs the same as a five star restaurant. Their rooms (at multiple locations) are consistently acceptable, but always kind of thrown together in a rush (and usually feature cheap video games as a puzzle, which I could play at home for free, if my home computer could travel back to 1989).I mean, its still fun, but at the time of this writing I would suggest Rabbit Hole, Denver Escape Room, or Mission Escapes as the best choices in Denver, for the same price.
Epic Escape Game was fantastic! We did the Escape dinner event on July 10 that was held at GameTrain. It was set in the prohibition era, and our hosts were dressed perfectly to match the time period! We had a party of 4, and we were sat at our own table that was prepped with puzzles. The puzzles were a perfect amount of challenging, but simple enough to solve. We even won a bottle of wine! The only downside was the waiters who served us dinner afterward were less than stellar, but since they were not part of Epic Escape Games staff I still give 5 stars. :) Go check this place out!
Great puzzles, great theme, and great hints!! My boyfriend and I had so much fun!! We’ve done 2 escape rooms with Epic Escape so far, and we have left both times smiling and happy instead of frustrated. It means a lot to know you have had the experience you wanted to, instead of spending money to be left frustrated and annoyed. I highly recommend Epic Escape for anyone wanting a great experience!
We had a really great time and BARELY solved the room in time! It was just two of us and we were super happy with how many puzzles we had to work through in that short time! Totally recommended! And Andrew was an outstanding clue master!!
The cursed vault was a very interesting and unique room, loved the style of it! Nice staff!
AMAZING time!! Tons of surprises, good level of difficulty. JJ did a great job of giving us clues when needed but letting us work through it on our own. Super affordable too. We will be back!!
This was a spur of the moment idea to celebrate a birthday for my 16 year old nephew. Somehow he and his 14 year old sister shifted from being annoyed at having to hang out with 3 burnying adults to laughing and really enjoying the day!
The game masters at Epic Escape were phenomenal. I brought 4 groups of kids from summer camp to their virtual escape games and the kids had a great time. Every person we worked with was kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Thanks for making virtual escape room camp work for us!
It was my first escape room and we did the lab room. Sooo much fun! The game master explained everything clearly and was very fun and interactive while my fiancee and I nearly made it out! Im looking forward to coming back and trying to beat the other rooms!
Andrew is a great clue master. The game was just difficult enough for our group. A fantastic time was had by all.
My husband, teenage daughter and I did The Cursed Vault room at the Greenwood Village location. Weve done many escape rooms and keep coming back to Epic Escape because their set design, cleverness of the puzzles and level of challenge is absolutely perfect. And this room was no exception. In fact its probably one of our favorites. Thank you to JJ, our game master, who did a wonderful job. Well be back!
A very fun escape room, very careful and good with current extra steps for safety. Room was intricately crafted and was a wonderful ride from start to finish.
My boyfriend and I played the cursed vault! Super fun game. We had a blast! Thanks for giving us a great experience J.J!
My son wanted to do an escape room for his 8th birthday. We found Epic Escape Game, which seems to be one of only two escape rooms in Colorado that features a room for kids. We signed up and my son and 7 of his friends participated. They all had a great time and several wanted to come back and do it again soon. They did a great job setting up something that was challenging but doable. With a couple of hints, the group finished with 9 minutes left on the clock.
Really fun clues and clever designs!
Fantastic escape room with friendly staff. JJ, our game master, was hilarious. He let us work the room without being too helpful/not helpful enough.
Creative distraction for the afternoon. All the investigation help you need, even when your headed down your path and the path its wrong. Thanks JJ and Andrew.
My first escape room and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The gentleman working there tonight was super friendly. He made the game very interesting. I would definitely recommend. It definitely challenged all of us.
We did the cursed vault and it was so much fun! escaped with 5 minutes to spare and it was amazingly challenging! The clue masters were awesome! Cant wait to do another one!
What a great venue! I hosted my daughters 12th Birthday party here and it was tons of fun. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The girls had a blast and the theme was fun and challenging!
I took our kids to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday. We did the Teddy Bear Workshop (ages 6-12), with kids ranging from 7-13. We had SO much fun! It is not scary, and our clue master, JJ, did a great job setting the scene and nudging us along when we got stuck. I would say this is pretty challenging for kids on the younger side of the age range; the locks require some manual dexterity. The kids felt challenged, had a great time, and saved the day! Well definitely be back.A note for the COVID-19 era: they have careful social distancing in place (keeping groups separated and not in waiting room together, etc), JJ wore a mask and stayed back from us, and they sanitize games between groups. It was so exciting to be out and doing something, with truly minimal risk.
This place is incredible! We are fairly new to escape rooms but this was by far one of our best times yet. JJ was wonderful to work with as well. Highly recommend and cant wait to go back!
My 1st time doing an escape room! I really enjoyed it! JJ our host really knocked it out of the water with his infamous personality and had great energy! I really liked my first try! I’ll defiantly come back for more escapes!
VER DISAPPOINTED!!! This was only our 2nd escape room. Our 1st experience was amazing so maybe our expectations were way to high. Our escape room was literally a bunch of black plastic draped over PVC pipes in the middle of the lobby. So as each group came to check in it was really loud. Garage sale trinkets were used to set the theme. They definitely should describe this room better on the website so people know what they are paying for. The walls to the other rooms are paper thin. As we waited in the lobby we could hear everything happening in the rooms. Save your money...we definitely wont be return customers!
Fun room with a lot of locks and puzzles!
We have been here twice with our kids and have had a great time on both occasions. The staff was friendly and offered clues when we needed and was super patient. Highly recommended!
Had a great time with the kids. Challenging enough to keep everyone engaged, active and excited.
Location difficult to find. More signage required. The escape rooms were fun though.
This was so fun - great way to visit with people during quarantine!
Awesome experience! This was our first escape room and it was epic! Thank you to the clue master for making it fun for the whole family. Cursed Vault is great! We had a couple of 6 year old boys that are really into Halloween, but it may be a little scary for others toward the end. We will definitely be back! Fun for the entire family!
We were celebrating a 12th birthday and had a group of 11 kids. That’s $255. What was supposed to be about an hour of entertainment turned out to be 35 minutes because the person working the party, Georgia, was extremely impatient and rude to the kids. She would just give them the answers after they didn’t figure out fast enough and basically pushed them through the room. So disappointed not only because she ruined my daughters birthday but sad for some of the kids who had never been to an escape room and had such a bad experience.
We had a blast! Rebecca was out code master and she made sure we had an hour of family fun. My husband and boys aged 8 and 12 did the Teddy Bear Factory. It was an hoir of family fun, communication, problem soliving and No screens! We will be going back soon!
Our family had a blast at Epic Escape Game! We escaped the Lab Disaster. It was a lot of fun!
Decided to go here for my wife and daughter who share a birthday. We did a room with our family of six and it was great. Age appropriate for everyone. The staff was friendly and explained the rules in a clear cut manor. We will for sure be back.
What an amazing time! You get one hour to solve all the puzzles and escape. (Of course the door is never locked) I played the cursed vault. This was my first escape experience, and it did not disappoint. There were a total of 3 rooms. Fun and keeps you thinking. A great activity for a date night or something to do with the kids. There are different levels of difficulty. The staff was great. Highly recommend.
We went to Epic escape for our Grandsons birthday. All of the kids had a great time as well as the adults. The staff was absolutely fantastic. We plan to go back for the other rooms. Thank you so much to everyone at epic escape for making our day fantastic. You all rock.
Great room and helpful game master we had a blast!Edit: Just came back for the escape dinner catered by qdoba. What an amazing time! There were tons of challenging fun puzzles and our team won the bottle of wine.Perfect for those who are nervous about doing an actual room. I will recommend it to everyone!
Fun time. Got it done really fast, was an easier room. But clues didnt seem to have a path and many hints were given and you werent able to struggle for a while and only have a limited amount of hints like most escape rooms. They were given often even if you didnt want clues. Fun time with friends.
My wife and I did the presidents briefcase. We enjoyed it a lot. There were 2 times where the puzzle took unexpected turns. One was startling and the other required some unique hand-eye coordination. We made it out with just a few minutes to spare. Looking back I really liked this more and more. We definitely recommend visiting this escape room.
We had a really great experience at Epic Escape doing the Lab Disaster room. It only had a 15% success rate and we escaped it (with lots of hints, but still) and had a lot of fun.Accessibility wise, there is handicap parking and an elevator to get to the second floor. The rooms are also accessible for both manual and power chairs (might be a little tight for a pc).Im only putting 4 stars because I think there’s room for improvement in the room and also because finding the entrance to the building is difficult and not marked very well. However, I’d absolutely recommend for everyone to come to Epic Escape for a great time!
Great fun especially if you like puzzles. The rooms are very creative and well designed. They use some cool special effects to make the themes for the rooms immersive.
We have been twice to this place - The Cursed Vault and the Teddy Bear Factory rooms - and both have been outstandingly executed. Challenging but not too esoteric puzzles and good quality rooms. Strongly recommended.
So much fun and we had a great experience. Waaaay more fun than taking everyone to a movie or dinner (and less expensive). Andre was the best!
My girlfriend and I have done well over 20 escape rooms around Colorado and other states, this one while having cool seeming themes were not what they seemed. The room did not match the theme. When we first started there was no clear start or path for where to start until the clue master stepped in 5 minutes later. During the game it wasn’t obvious at all where to start, most escape rooms that have a low success rate and are rated as difficult have a clear path with difficult puzzles but this room had easy puzzles but no clear directions. The whole time there were clues given and never a chance to figure it out for yourself.
This was a great team-building experience! The puzzles were fun and challenging. The staff including our clue master, Tim, was very nice. Will definitely try their other rooms.
My employer took all of us here for team building and it was absolutely so much fun!!! The guys who ran it were so cool and fun! Definitely recommend!
Rebecca had us laughing through out with her comments and sugg6
We had such a great time!! Cant wait to do it again! Finished with 7 seconds to spare haha!! Thank you for a great experience!
Easily my favorite escape room! Ive done two of them and around Halloween they have a live actor in the rooms that helps when needed. The staff is always super helpful and friendly and the rooms are fantastic. Definitely check them out, awesome for a group activity!
Wonderful experience! With several hints (), we were able to make it out! We did the presidents briefcase, and it had a wide array of puzzles and locks. Highly recommend!!
They were very eager to please and give hints, which was great when you had the clue correct and the lock didnt work for some reason. There were several times, though, where we were stuck on a puzzle or tried something incorrectly for maybe 30 seconds before a correction or hint came through, giving us hardly any time to really figure it out ourselves. We finished with almost 20 min left and a feeling of a victory ill-earned. To be quite fair, they said we could tell them to tone down the hints, but in the last of the game it didnt occur to us to ask. I would start next time requesting no hints.
JJ was very friendly, and the Cursed Vault was an amazing room!
This was our first escape room and we had no clue what to expect. We started with the lab room and it was challenging. They explained what to do and did a brief description of our game. We got hints to help us along the way and we had a lot of fun trying to figure out the clues. Can’t wait to try another one.
Took my team here for some team building and had a blast. We were separated into two rooms and each group loved the challenging puzzles, that helped us work as teams, and had us competing against one another to see who escaped first. With the investment.
First escape room. Theme was a lot of fun. Was very tricky puzzles but solvable. We had a great game master!
It was my 13yr olds first time and we made it through. We’ll definitely be going back. The service and the staff were awesome!
So fun, clean, nice staff, awesome room and love extra technology components.... super cool!!! Rebecca was the best host!
Hard enough to be a challenge, but got hints to keep us moving. Fun theme. Had a great time
Amazing, we did the cursed vault room. The theme and puzzles in the room were amazing with plenty of surprises. It was so much fun we booked another room for the next night. This is now my favorite escape room location.
5 of us had a fun time working the Cursed Vault escape room. Some really good props and a couple scares.we will be coming back for another room soon. Our clue master was Cooper and did a good job.
Weve now done all the games at this location and love every one of them. Definitely recommend. Really good clue masters.
Best escape room. Cluemaster was kind and experienced. Well designed rooms.
Me and my fiancee took a friend out to epic for her birthday and man did we have a good time! The escape room we did was a perfect balance of challenging and smooth sailing. One moment Im thinking were doomed and the next Im not worried at all. There was plenty of small touches in the room that gave it character unlike some other places that are bland.A few things that stood out over other rooms was the clear distinction between useful items and useless ones. There have been too many times Ive gotten stuck on something completely irrelevantAt epic its simple, if it doesnt have a sticker on it, indicating its not part of the game, you dont need it! Genius.Another thing that stood out that I liked was the way the room had to be looked at as a whole. Usually you go puzzle after puzzle clue after clue never once looking back. At epic we had to go back and re examine old clues which added a totally different dinamic than other rooms Ive been too.All in all, from the friendly staff to the dynamic rooms, and personalized rooms, epic is a step above other escape rooms and definatly worth a visit.Shout out to David for being a great host!
Great fun puzzles and stories. Fun experience for our team.
We went to the Epic Escape Room for a work teambuilding event and had a great time! The staff was very nice and informative, and the room was interesting and fun!
We did this event as a corporate team building and it was so much fun! The company was closed on the day we needed however they went above and beyond and opened up for just our team. This place was so much fun and team building was a success!
It was challenging and fun and they are excellent at reading where the team is at and gave just enough help as to not be too helpful. Worthwhile!
Wonderful place, great for younger kids. I took my 6 and 8 yo nephews and they found it challenging and fun.
This was my 1st time trying one of these escape rooms I have to say it was quite interesting I really enjoyed myself
Fun local escape room with just the right amount of hints vs. difficulty
Art was really nice and The Presidents Briefcase was actually really fun. We went with the family and had a great time. Would be great for team building as well.
Such a fun escape room, lots of creative puzzles!
Super fun. Looks kinda unassuming but its awesome.
Awesome, the escape room we did had one clue that was a bit of a stretch, but we did fine.
I had a great experience with my friends. Staff was kind. Would go back in a heartbeat. Hope they continue to develop tougher rooms.
Fun escape room that is medium on difficulty. Everyone was super nice and we had a wonderful time!
Lots of fun with a group of eight people... Will be back for sure! I wish the lights would flicker or something to resemble the scenario a bit more but the challenges were fun!
Escape room we attended had loads of interesting and challenging puzzles. I appreciated that for any puzzle you could just ask for a hint so that getting stuck on 1 puzzle didnt make you lose the entire event.
One of the better escape rooms Ive done. Will be coming back to try one of the other games.
We tried The Curse escape for my sons birthday and it was really fun
I enjoyed the Presidents Briefcase. Lots of fun and a great staff. Lots of puzzles, had to work together as a team.
Was really impressed with the Teddy Bear workshop for my daughters 10th Birthday. Very creative and fun enviromment for the kids.
Teddy bear room was simple and fun. We will be back
We had a great time! It was challenging and fun!!
Did this as a team building event with co-workers and we had a ton of fun!
It was hard and we failed but it was fun.
Fun times with a twist.
It was really fun and just the right amount of challenging.
Super fun, tricky escape room
