I was looking at the previous review and could have written it myself. I was also a student of Dmitri at Newark School of of Art in 76 . I think of him often because in no other class since did I get more profound information. I am forever grateful to him and I hope he knows how important his influence continues to be. Dmitri gave a drawing demonstration one time using student volunteering to sit. I have never seen an artist draw with such love, beauty, precision and discipline. He was the reason for my love of drawing.

He was my professor at The Newark School of Fine & Industrial Arts in ‘77. His class was the finest I ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I learned how to draw using his methods and I’m still referencing it. His artworks are of the highest quality, thought and mastery.
