This place was pretty awesome. Took my kids here for the day because we were out exploring. Its definitely a teenage hangout spot, lots of garbage, a lot of inappropriate graffiti but it didnt bother us, still enjoyed the empty area for about an hour. It can be rough to skate if you dont have a lot of experience due to the unevenness. Definitely worth the visit for older kids.

Its a really fun flowy Park with a lot of community built features and a lot of room to grow as a rider or skater and as a park itself. This is definitely not your typical skate park but it does feel amazing and feels like it was built by skaters for skaters. I will be coming back.

Interesting place! Decently flat, clean surfaces. Broom & shovel & garbage cans provided. All who go here should enjoy, preserve & work to maintain it!

Good outdoor skate park for beginners free of charge. Whoever decided to do this in greenville obviously has vision.

The Skate Park is CLOSED indefinitely. If you have questions, call the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority who owns the property.

Theres something special about this place that I dont think Ive seen at any other park Ive skated. Not all the transitions are perfect but that just makes you a better skater, it teaches you to adapt and find a way....And a shout out to all the people that put in work 4 over a decade to give us our Park..and all the friends Ive met and the camaraderie ...this place is awesome,SAVED MY LIFE @ POE MILL!!!!

Awesome grassroots skate park! We fly our drones on the back side of the park by the smoke stacks! Really nice place that the kids built and are building by themselves!!!

This is hands down the best skate park I have ever taken my kids to...No rules on what you can ride-which is refreshing-and respect is given by all to all ages. The venue is a bit rough but the people are what makes this place great. If I was a richer man I gladly contribute for more ramps and a half pipe. On a side note they even have a bagpiper play there on occasion.

Been living in SC for 5 years and started skating there when I found out about it and it has become the most beautiful DAY skate park Ive ever seen and it keeps growing more and more. I help clean up every time I go

Authentic, no frills, skatepark. It is unsanctioned and in a seedy part of town. Has a lot of character.

Its not your typical skatepark. Lots of graffiti etc. Its just neat to see the Ol Poe Mill in Greenville is still around in Skatepark form! The park features quarter pipe style ramps, ledges, rails, hills and more. A good place to get in a good practice session or try to master the ramps! Great for BMX Bikes, skateboarders, rollerbladers, scooters, and more!

This place is a nasty dump. So much trash, broken bottles and beer cans. Smells like pee and afraid to touch anything.

I use to skate her 10 years ago all the time. Its so much different and cleaner than it was back then. Definitely a great DIY spot. The locals are cool and youll have fun. Not the greatest parking though.

Dont be put off by the initial appearance. Fun place to skate. The locals have put up some good stuff.

Broke down skate park, open to bikes as well. Trying to fix it up or see about the city to since the city owns it. Help me clean up if you want it to stay around and get better.

Nice place for young adults to go and enjoy and exercise plus familys also.Just seems it would be better with a Trash Container or Dumpster for all the waste left behind

Great local skatepark. Pretty much self built by the locals and the local skateshop. Great place to come hang out and watch even if you dont skate.

I have a great time at Poe Mill. Yes it is a little run down but its a DYI park and people can do what ever they want, it has great potential and a nice and friendly community (minus the few sketchy people) but overall a great FREE place to skate.
