Hi I was very impressed wood themed Main Street they remodeled the front of all the stores like the old time days. I brows around the jewelry store are extremely nice even when I told him I wasnt looking for anything special and matter fact I dont even have a girlfriend at this time I do miss shopping jewelry a nice lady suggested I should treat myself a real friendly a little flirtatious not I think it was just me she made me feel good about myself she told me some mens bracelets surprising the price was really reasonable why I thought no high pressure sale it was nice here in the customer I will go back when Im in need of some kind of jewelry I also had a bagel and little bagel shop there was very good also very good service it was a lot of nice people I spoke with but they warned me not to wander too far I guess a large group of homeless undesirables didnt quite like that phrase from the young lady I pointed out to her to see what her reaction would be homeless people and how we all are probably five or six paychecks away from being homeless and she did correct herself and left it at undesirables Lol so I figured I go take a look so I walked on the bridge down Woodside Ave towards the Woodside Cotton Mill I instantly noticed the property on this side of the tracks were definitely mostly Rundown but with a nice sign of revamping homes I do see a nice future for the Woodside cotton mill for whatever they have been plans for it one thing I did notice that is very high visible sheriffs officers present I dont know if thats a good sign or bad sign I definitely recommend checking out the shops

Weve lived in this area for more than 20 years. Like many places, this neighborhood has seen many changes. Starting out as a tight mill community, it has changed sometimes for the worse depending on who moves in.In recent years with the conversion of Parker high school into an excellent charter school (Legacy Charter School), the remaking of a mill into condos, the Swamp Rabbit in close proximity, some art studios created nearby, and a park planned for the near future, Id say we have a brighter future here.Increased police patrolling has also been reassuring. Our street has been more peacefulduring the past decade. I can also see some improvement on other streets

My church Bibleway FGMBC is very active with the community with Bishop JW Hester Sr.

Just an older meal that has closed down but great reviews going back to the seventies and eighties from personal people that work there.

Historic in the south is another word for blacks not being allowed, s ok i dont think of anything in the south historically.

UGH! TERRIBLE!! I will not stay here again and do not suggest anyone staying here unless you want to sleep with roaches and other critters crawling around you. The hotel is under construction/remodel, but then you also have to deal with hammers after 9:30 at night. My room smelled of sour carpet, mold and cigarette smoke. If it hadnt been for the fact that I couldnt find ANY other room ANYWHERE close to where I was going, I would NOT have stayed there!!

Drugs and crime are high here now. Although it is an historic area,I would not recommend living here or raising a family here.
