We were at the Peace Center on location for a photoshoot, and it fit the vision perfectly for what we were going for! We will definitely be using it again.
TD Stage at the Peace Center on Main Street in Greenville is a great event venue that is scenic and spacious. I have enjoyed all of the events that I have attended here as the space is just the right size and located nicely on the river. This space is well managed and enjoyable for events.
Fantastic! If youre new to the area or just visiting please dont leave a show out! This is the best quality around! Fantastic prices, beautiful shows, wonderful staff and excellent food/drinks when needed. Greenville really appreciates the effort put forth by this staff... For decades now. ️️️️️
I always have a great time at the Peace Center! I’ve gone to many Broadway Tour shows here and always leave so happy. It’s in the heart of beautiful downtown Greenville. The atmosphere both outside the building and in the theater is gorgeous! The volunteers are always so kind, smiling, and helpful. Very fun place!
We went to see Brit Floyd at the Peace Center in Greenville SC last weekend. The Peace Center was lovely! The seats were so comfortable and the venue was laid out so the sound was maximized yet you felt like you could touch the people on stage! It was really a great concert. We are already looking at other productions being preformed at the Peace Center so we can go back!!!
Clean, tastefully decorated, great architecture inside and out. Wonderful acoustics. Pleasant staff and even nicer volunteers.Attended several performances over the years. All were different from another, but quality of shows and production have been spot on. All this and its in downtown Greenville very near a river and many shops, bars and restaurants. A large park and a spectacular bridge with views of the falls are a must see. Walk about. Visit, view and enjoy yourself.
The acoustics make every concert or talk easy to hear. This is great. The seats are comfortable and there is not a bad view from any of them. I have been here many times. Everyone should go to at least 1 event here. Then they will be hooked.
What a gorgeous venue in Downtown Greenville! I saw “Waitress” with my sister and the production was fantastic! We had upper balcony seats in the center, and could still enjoy the vocals and visuals. The layout gives every seat a good vantage point and the box seats look really nice. The restrooms were nice, and foot traffic moved so easily through the halls and up the stairs. There was a small bar serving drinks and small snacks, including jars of mini pie which was such a cute accompaniment to the show. The restaurant, which I did not eat at was visually stunning with grand chandeliers of crystal spheres surrounded by hoops which looked like planetary gyroscopes. Large windows overlook the river and waterfalls of downtown. There was an art festival the same day I visited and it made the atmosphere so lively and fun. The entire campus is just beautiful, and I can’t wait to return.
Great shows (Broadway shows often go here), beautiful architecture inside and out, always clean, and great staff
Wonderful. Always a great experience.
Its nice! Staff will say the productions are as well done here as they are on Broadway... Theyre not. However, they are excellent. In some ways it is better, such as: parking, restaurant seating, ease of making it on time and quick seating.
It doesnt get any better than this--the name itself and its connected to a bar, wide open spaces around the event space. The sound is good. I mean, I saw Rainbow Kitten Surprise so, of course, it sounded good. Also, the whole downtown is full of cool restaurants and art and so while Im from Charleston, this entire experience is worth the trip.
A wonderful space. Nice, comfortable seats. You dont feel like your sitting in your neighbors lap. Doesnt appear to be a bad seat in the house.
Very nice venue. My first time there, very clean, well kept and staff was excellent. We went to see Bill Engvall and had a really great time. The restaurant next door is a nice place to go before the show. You can get a bite to eat and have a drink if you choose too. The menu there is a light menu. Really nice choices to just get something before the show and not fill up.All together very Cool place, and now that I see how its laid out will enjoy it even more next time we go.
The Peace Center is a great venue. Greenville, SC is fortunate to have this cultural arts center. They have Broadway plays, music, great musicians, comedy, pretty much anything you would want to see. Beautiful venue, comfortable seating and every seat is a good seat.
Saw Beautiful and loved both the show and the venue. Seating is comfy with plenty of legroom. (Evidently they need more womens bathrooms, though.) Drinks are served before, during and after performances and there are plenty of restaurants and drinking establishments nearby for after the shows. Beware that parking costs are higher when theres a show!
I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Peace Center this past weekend. I was really amazed by what a great show it was. The performers were top notch, and the set and special effects were so good - better than I expected by far. As is the case with many performance venues, there could be more restrooms for women. Not sure why refreshments are not allowed inside the theatre, but my enjoyment was not hampered at all by this.
Wonderful place to see a play but they found it necessary to add one seedy and disturbing scene to a G-rated, family friendly play. Was this to show how cool and hip they are? People near me were as upset as my party and I. Id have given 5 stars otherwise.
An eclectic array of shows. Something for everyone. Nice little bars scattered in the lobby to have a quick cocktail before a show. Great seats throughout the theater. I love this place. Many happy memories.
It was ok. Saw the Lion, witch and Wardrobe event. View was good, seating comfortable, though odd without center isle. Production was OK for kids. I may be jaded though because I have seen over 30 Broadway productions and was raised going to ballet and orchestra concerts.
Nice venue. Great location and parking nearby. Seats comfortable and good acoustics. My complaint, and is a big one...having to pay $75 for a $19 ticket. Next time Ill go to box office to purchase tickets.
My wife & I always enjoy ourselves at the Peace Center. One thing I figured out is its best to buy tickets early to get the best seats for your money because not all views are quality angles. A 4 star rating because there always seems to be this one lady usher who comes off as annoying & oversteps her boundaries. Ill find out her name next time we visit.
An amazing location for an intimate concert! Seeding was comfortable and you had a great view from anywhere in the building! Will definitely be back.
Beautiful venue, clean and comfortable seating, great views, and the acoustics were some of the best Ive ever experienced. Saw my third Brit Floyd concert here last night. Other two were in Macon Ga and Huntsville Al. There was no comparison with regards to the sound. It honestly sounded like a different concert here. The venue is also close to the river walk and a ton of great restaurants and bars. Highly recommend a visit to the city and peace center if you get a chance.
This was our first visit to the Peace Center in downtown Greenville. It was a lovely venue with dramatic lighting, powerful sound, and friendly and helpful staff. A great venue for Les Miserables.
Beautiful venue with wonderful views of the park beside it. The restaurant connected is a wonderful little place to sit and talk while waiting for your show. The theater itself is great, more seating than I imagined it would have. We are both short and had no trouble seeing at all with people in front of us.
This years Christmas concert was wonderful. There were many new arrangements and the guest artists were fantastic. As always the conductor was a joy to watch.
It was a cool place... nice walk around.
This is a beautiful facility, in a beautiful location in beautiful downtown Greenville, SC. After having attended AND performed in many, many venues in the US including NYC,this venue has one glaring defect for the Concert goer: THERE IS NO CENTER ISLE OR 2 ISLES 1/3 in on either side...SO....to get to your seat in the middle you have to crawl over up to 25 people. This is a real hassle.Poor design but still a beautiful venue.
The Peace Center provided an excellent broadway show with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical. We loved the performance from start to finish. The facility could be a bit more handicapped accessible, especially when it comes to the better seats. Lower row seating does not have center handicap seating nor does it have chair access. When exiting I was forced to wait until other patrons left so that I could go 7 rows backward. That was the only way to get to a wheelchair ramp. Still, the facility was adequate for most.
Purchase tickets in an auction for benefit, was taking my parents, got the time wrong. The lady on the phone was sweet and understanding and was able to get us in on a later performance. It was Charlie and the chocolate factory and It was so much more then I thought it would be!! Definitely worth money!!
Orderly, well decorated and convenient to get to as its off the Main Street. My only complaint, if you have nosebleed seats and have a breathing or cardiac issue, getting up to the rafters is quite stressful. The acoustics were excellent and seats were of average comfort. I couldnt enjoy the show as I would have liked had I been seated somewhere without the climb....
My favorite place to see a live show. Quality shows. Nice comfortable seats. Temperature inside is always perfect. I love the Peace Center.
Beautiful venue for large-scale plays, musicals, and live music performances. Upper balcony tickets are relatively affordable ($35-60) since Greenville is a medium-sized city. Enjoyed excellent performances of Book of Mormon, Wicked, Sound of Music, and others here. Intermission is nice time to walk around the large lobby and grab a drink.
I required handicap accommodations, which worked out fine. I cant report on rest rooms, I didnt use them. We saw a stand-up comedian and it seemed like there was no such thing as a bad seat. Beverages and snacks were available for purchase. We had an awesome time and would definitely go back to see another show!
A Jewel for our city. Small, manageable and excellent shows. High quality experience with solid acoustics.
This is a wonderful performance room with very good sound and sight lines. The programmers have brought excellent performances in a variety of styles.
Very good but prices are outrageously. We do other smaller local theaters. It’s a very special performance for us to attend
Beautiful theatre that brings some great shows to Greenville. Its wonderful to see traveling Broadway shows right here in town. The staff is always helpful when Im trying to locate our seats. The drinks are expensive, but I suppose thats expected for a theatre.
Great acoustics. Ergonomic seating. Never been disappointed. Dressy but not stuffy.
Very nice facility to watch plays or enjoy concerts. Every seat is a good one. Even the cheap seats in the balcony.
It us a lovely facility. The staff is well organized, helpful and friendly. It was a most pleasant experience.
Amazing venue. Even next to last row of Founders Circle were great seats for Les Mis.
Beautiful event space
We took our 8year old here for the Piggy and Elephant show We are in a play. The play was well put together, the performers had wonderful energy and the whole experience was a pleasant one. We will be going back to visit again. Restrooms were clean and the greeter staff was pleasant, informative, and very kind. We really enjoyed our first time here. I did feel that The ticket price was a little high for the experience but the day was a great one.
Absolutely wonderful venue. Intimate and not a bad seat in the house. I will certainly be back again.
Seats are comfortable, the facilities are well maintained, and there are great sightlines. This is a wonderful venue to see a show and offers so much to Greenville and the surrounding region. I love going to the Peace Center!
I was offered a free screening of a very fine film featuring the life of Itzhak Perlman. The Gunther Auditorium is a smaller intimate venue for films and chamber groups. It is a pleasing space to be in. The volunteer ushers make the place really user-friendly.
Love this place because of the good seating and sound clarity. We find good deals on tickets to different events.
Beautiful facility. So so production of an old musical Sat close to the stage on extreme right and acoustics were not so good. Had trouble hearing at times. Also avoid the parking at the Marriott across the street. They gouge you for 20. Use the City garage next door for only 6 (I think).
Couldnt get in to talk with abt ticket refund, had to call myself
Named so appropriately! Proof that only God could create such beauty. Definitely a must visit when in the Greenville area.
Just went to see Les Mis here. I saw Les Mis on Broadway. I thought Greenville couldn’t compare. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is the entire downtown area immaculate and charming but so was the theater. We have friends that have seen several other performances there. And they raved do we agreed to go. Coming from a big city I wasn’t expecting the caliber of production value we saw. I was wrong. Everything was wonderful. The staff was attentive and helpful. Even the other patrons were a delight. Many of the cast members were superior to their Broadway counterparts. Peace Center really knows how to choose their performances. The experience at Peace Center has made want to return to Greenville not only for the theater but to see the city that creates and supports a theater this well. Thank you Peace Center. We will see you again soon.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Shows are well done and excellent
The acoustics are fabulous. Unfortunately, the show I saw was not. The wine bar, ushers, and comfortable seating was more than adequate for anyone.
Met my buddy and his son for Robert Earl Keen. Different show from the norm but I have never in 30+ shows scene a bad REK concert.
Enjoyed the Aladdin show. Peace Center was awesome, not a bad seat in the house!
Love that our little city draws in such great Broadway shows! The production value is worth every penny. On par with what I have seen on NYC Broadway.
Wonderful experience every time! Very helpful attendents, and Genevieves is always a pleasure to eat and drink at beforehand!
Totally enjoyed the Nutcracker Performance, the entire Cast was energized, and the Principals on Point a great venue for the entire family...
Great sound, beautiful theater and the staff is always great. The restaurant attached is nice, limited menu but good for starters prior to a performance. Dont suggest seeing a concert there if you enjoy dancing! Unless you like people telling you sit down all the time or can afford to upgrade to the balconies where you have a bit more room to move. Enjoyed a handful of non concert performances and will certainly keep an eye on the lineup for the future.
Hamilton was outstanding. Would see it again.
Great place and great theater show was amazing. I and my family love this place and the building interior and exterior was superb. Staff was always helpful friendly and take care of the customers. Clean place and nice looking. I will definitely be back many more times and would tell to my friends also. Overall it was nice experience.
Amazing venue. Better symphony than our small town deserves as well. I havent identified a bad seat in the house, customer service is incredible, location is perfect... Just a pleasure. My wife and I purchased a season pass for the Broadway series this year and are excited!
We love the Greenville Symphony orchestra. The maestro is world class.
Great performance by the Wroctaw Philharmonic orchestra. The conductor was spectacular.
All the seats in the theater are great! The acoustics are excellent!! Its nice to have such a great venue so close! The sparkly dancing fairy-angel in the lobby always mesmerizes!! (Im fairly sure theres a story about the fairy-angel and I sound silly calling it that, but I dont want to look it up... You can of you want. I did, however, provide a picture.)
Big enough to get Broadway shows but small enough to be up close and intimate
The Peace Center was amazingly super clean and delightful cool inside the seating was very comfortable with plenty of room to move about and the acoustic was off the chain ...loved ...loved ...loved it ...cant wait to visit again
The venue is great and it has great sightlines. Not a bad seat in the house.
Just saw Aladdin the musical!! It was amazing, will come again
Beautiful theatre and excellent shows! Always an outstanding experience.
Greenville, SCs beautiful Peace Center for the Performing Arts must be one of the best in the US.
I can honestly say there is not a bad seat in this house. Ended up getting what is considered the cheaper seats for this show and still had no problems hearing or getting the full experience!
I am a long time season subscriber and they refused to exchange my two tickets for a different night, even though they were sold out so probably couldve sold my tickets easily. It was just sorry no we cant do it even though I begged. I found it offensive and insensitive. Bad business practice. So fyi if its less than 48 hours before the show (i.e 47 hours) they wont exchange. But the shows are amazing.
The Illusionist: Fantastic !...Enjoy every minute!
Always good shows, friendly staff, good venue. And Hamilton was awesome!
