The park was very nicely maintained and landscaped. It was clean and a great spot to get mid morning walk. No complaints.
Okay 2.5 stars to be accurate but I cant justify the review showing three stars. Its a nice park, great layout... Its just overrun with the homeless. And they arent a disturbance at all. They are friendly and keep to themselves. However its just sad that as a city we can erect the founders wall in the copper and brass fittings but we couldnt get another fund together to properly address the homeless situation. We just give them access to the bathrooms? Hopefully more can be done to meet the needs of these people so that they can enjoy the park for recreation and not have to let it double as their home.
Way too many aggressive homeless people for my personal taste. It has great potential. However, the homeless people made me feel uncomfortable.I couldnt even finish a cup of coffee without being approached for money. Just not my idea of a relaxing experience.
Beautiful location for photos. Very relaxing and well maintained.
That what Greensboro city make the greatest, feel urban vibe, great people, great food, developing rise the a above, plenty stuff to do, for the kids little haven on earth, that way it the greatest city in North Carolina.....
I just love how peaceful it can be, inner peace & tranquil.
It a nice area with lot of exciting things to do hopefully you should check it out
Nice park. Quiet. Still lit well even at night.
Fun with a big group. But.. alot of walking. Put on your walking shoes. Not for someone who cant walk long distances.
We really love this park. It is very lively, full of families and many diverse people enjoying themselves in the park near the fountains.
Great place to go and relax after a long day or just to enjoy the downtown city sites
Relaxing place to be after work and on weekends and no one bothers you
Nice and inviting. Not many people but I guess that is the sign of these trying times.
The park is nice its just a lot homeless people .
Plenty of parking nearby in Davie and Church St public garages. Nicely kept lawn and stage areas. Normal homeless population on the fringes. Lots of shops and eateries within walking distance plus the public library and Greensboro Childrens museum. First time there on October 26, 2019. Lots of weird, angular walkways might be better appreciated if information on them were posted. They made us want to walk across areas that we probably shouldnt. For the size and location it packs a lot of details and is surely a welcome aesthetic for the rich folks in the condos looming across the street. No playground at this park. Worth a visit.
This is a nice park and fun to visit. Having children with me Im always concerned with all the homeless that hangout in and around the park. Never had a problem though.
Love it the water fountain is awesome sauce
Pros - The park itself is very nice. Well maintained grassy areas. Staff working to keep the park clean. Umbrellas over tables and chairs, trees and water features to help keep you cool. Centrally located, close to restaurants. We were there on a Sunday so the parking was good. Now for the Con - way too many homeless people in the park!!! The homeless population is why the park gets 3 stars...
Always clean and comfortable when we visit. We live 30 minutes away so only visit a few times a year. Closer locals have hundreds of events to attend at the park year-round. Family friendly. Pet friendly. Cleaner restrooms than most parks.
Love it and took family pictures there and rhey are beautiful
Amazing park across the street from Lebaur park downtown Greensboro! I love the fountains and the fields for kids to play in. During the summertime they do live shows and have events with food trucks. Excellent atmosphere!
I think this is next to the new Lebauer City Park in downtown Greensboro. This is a well presented area, plenty of space for relaxation. Nice to see somewhere that you can get away from roads in the city centre. Nice shade under the trees. If you visit then you must go to the adjoining Lebauer City Park - its amazing.
It was my first time visiting from Atlanta during the labor day weekend and I had a blast. The grass is well kept. A great family spot. And there was a live band in the evening, we all listened to good music and had a good time
Great place, lot of room to sit and a good number of tables. Just dont sit at the ones next to the fountain. Youre usually.dry, but when the wind picks up itll get you
Love taking my kids to the city park!
Very nice park.
Nice downtown park with shade and cool water features.
Enjoyed a great stroll around the park.
Went to the fun fourth and had a blast. Vendors were great, crowd was awesome and the overall feel with stellar. Good entertainment. Glad I went and finally saw the Center City Park with all of its new upgrades. Nothing like when I was a child.
This is a nice area to come and sit. My only complaint is that there are hobos on every corner begging for money in downtown Greensboro. Still you can get a nice lunch break here if you dont mind being asked for money on your way in and out.
Peaceful not far from me.
Absolutely love the atmosphere
This park is beautiful, but the homeless have taken it over. Its sad and I wish we as a city could do something about the increasing homeless population around the city. Although the park has a lot of events and great places within walking distance, I dont always feel safe with so many laying on benches or asking for money.
Great place to bring your child, or children!! Awesome atmosphere, and the revitalization of downtown is beautiful
Best place to relax
Nice place to relax
Nice chill spot to just breath. Beautiful water fountains. And cheap vending machines
Its Lit Family Park!! NO WEIRDOS ALLOWED
Kids Love it
Even when cold outside, park was nice...they had the water fountains going. In 2010 we had bridal pics done there.
This time it was great
Its a relaxing but also know its where all the homeless people hang out
There are quite a few things to do here. The location is central downtown and easily accessible to everything downtown. There are often food vendors at this location. There are also various events held at this park. There is a spray park in walking distance and a play area for kids. There are museums, food vendors, and other activities within walking distance. I would highly recommend a visit!
Dope lil chill spot
Great Quiet Place
Historical Gbro is beautiful definitely a great place for kids to make a wish.

Clean and beautiful. Great space.
Pretty cool little area in downtown Greensboro.
The live activities make me feel great.
Nice view of downtown Greensboro
This is chalena I had a great and wonderful time today in the park and was very blessed thanks for a beautiful time and friends I met today
It is alot of fun taking the grandkids to LeBauer Park in Greensboro. The one big drawback are the adults who hang out all day there asking for handouts and Ive yet to see a policeperson anywhere downtown day or night. I never feel safe.
Nice manicured landscape. Beautiful water falls. Not enough bathrooms. Only 2 (1 per gender). Not enough security (1 officer).*(Recently there has been a lot of violent casualties, and fatalities, due to inadequate security and supervision).
Educational is the best way to discribe it
Great little park! the building are all getting remodeled around it and this city is really starting to look like its getting a face lift.
I love the atmosphere there. Even tho its Greensboro center city park is pretty chill and a nice place to go.
Small but very nice. I really like this park. The fountains are wonderful and fun, and theres usually a food truck or something happening.
Nice, grounds well kept up.Great downtown location.Great place to take kids/family.A variety of outdoor activities to select from to do.Outdoor music performances held here.
Peaceful and I like the food carts for a quick meal. Clean and has good shade. Nice artwork probably good for kids and close to library
Ive always loved Center City Park. Great place to just sit and read a book. Water features make it so peaceful.
Great, small middle city park. Nice fountains. Open lawn and nice shady areas. Beautiful!
Nice park, just a lot of homeless people late at night early in the morning
Very nice. Good place to go and relax
This park was enjoyable and relaxing....
Very open. Great for everyone
Always a nice place to come out joy the weather make new friends enjoy the activities that the city of Greensboro has to offer
Beautiful space in the center of Downtown Greensboro. Space for a quiet break and a childrens garden and splash area for kids.
Went here for Korean festival. I also go occasionally throughout the year because they have events. Its a nice and quaint like park to stroll through.
Very peaceful and centrally located
Its a beautiful Park very well-designed
Nice green space to sit, have lunch or just relax.
I visited Center City Park for the Christmas tree lighting event and as always it was lots of fun
This is a family friendly place to visit where you can enjoy live entertainment, movies on the lawn, and so much more.
City center park is always a nice place to relax for lunch. There is almost always an event to enjoy and the people in the area are very friendly
Music was great! I LOVE the water fountains and the kids were all having a great time.
This is a beautiful park to take a stroll in on a warm summer night
