This theater always has kind of a retro feeling to me. We always have great customer service and the best food and drinks. We have yet to have a bad experience. We like to go on Tuesdays because you get to watch all of the regular movies for ONLY $5 Every Tuesday and they have concession sales too!Students can go on Thursdays for only $6 which is a really good deal for college students.
Everything you could ask for at a theater! Real snacks and actual variety for movies. And the seating is super comfy!
Glad to see they serve adult beverages but very sad to see they dont provide recycling bins for all of the cans. Its 2020 and time to recycle instead of sending everything to the landfill. Brought my cans up to the counter as there were no recycling bins and they put them right in the trash. Do better...
Terrible. Our movie was supposed to start at 11am and we got to the theater at 1045am. The screen was completely blank and no previews or anything were playing. The screen remained blank and the theater dead silent until 1115am. Marcus staff had no idea what was going on, and didnt know that the the movie or the previews hasnt started playing. I think everyone in the theater should get free movie tickets. This is just ridiculous.Would not recommend this theater and definitely wont be returning.
This art deco theatre is well appointed, with fantastic atmosphere and great murals. The movie prices are reasonable, the concessions not so much. The theatre is not equipped with state of the art video and audio equipment, but is very adequate. I saw Dunkirk here, and the audio was bright, without LFE. The video quality was good. The art deco makes up for these slight shortcomings.
Good experience here. The people at the desk selling you the tickets are quite Pleasant. We found the seats to be very comfortable. The sound was good as well. This is one of the better movie theaters that we have been to. The whole shop is clean and spruced up nicely. The bathrooms are very good. Its a quite convenient location, And the prices arent too bad. They offer you a closed captioning device, and in this case, it worked very well for me.
Havent been to a movie in probably 7 years... Did you know they sell beer now!?? Only problem is in 2020 they dont recycle? Is this real? They recycle 3D glasses but not cans or plastic.... I guess the planet is worth less than some cheap glasses to Marcus.....
Not a bad place, the new assigned seating is a little strange and political adds before movies is just a hard no for me... we pay to watch movies not watch adds
Christmas day we get there at 12:34 and I asked for tickets for the 1 o’clock show of Star Wars. We took row K, seats 12-15.The guy who took my money had on a Christmas tie with the images of Christmas at the bottom of the tie. Well, he gave me tickets to the 12:30 show, not the 1:00 show. It wasn’t until people started coming in and we found out that we were not in the correct showing. We got our money back, but I’m not very satisfied with the service that I asked for. Thanks for wrecking Christmas afternoon. And get your printer to work better so you can see what time the show is and the seats assigned.Diane
Prices are too high but overall great place.
The staff and manager are absolutely wonderful. I take my cousin, who is developmentally able and he is treated with patience and kindness.
Great sound and atmosphere but the only complaint I have is u guys do not have recliner seats
My husband and I went to see Just Mercy and all I have to say is its a must movie to see as for Marcus Cinema I appreciate I can get my tickets ahead of time which allows me to breeze right thru and the place is always clean which is much appreciated
Its alright here. Sometimes the customer service is great and other times it leaves much to be desired. It would be more beneficial if they opened multiple registers when it was super busy. Additionally, it would be helpful to have self-check in when your tickets were pre-purchased. Hoping this theater will be updated soon!!
Great place to enjoy a movie. Very friendly and helpful staff too
Saw Knives Out. Excellent movie. Marcus East always a nicer atmosphere than Bay Park.
You should not be allowed to bring in your cell at all, other than that this place offers an excellent, affordable, movie experience.
Great Movies, Nice Theater? YUMMY FOOD
The restroom situation needs improvement. Ladies do have two rooms one is large and the other only has 3 stalls. Men only have one room. Otherwise it is a good theater.
Nice little theater to take your family to or a date. They do a great job keeping it clean, the popcorn is always fresh. Really the only gripe I have about it and the reason I gave 4 stars instead 5, is the parking lot. Their parking lot sucks and its very hard to maneuver in and out of. Basically theres only one way in and one way out which makes it pretty crowed when your coming and going.
Roomy seats. Good temps through out. Not hot in one place and cold in others. Sound was good loud like you expect at theatre but not so loud you need earplugs to enjoy the movie. Good experience, enjoyable .
This whole costume ban for joker is a complete violation of human rights. My friends got straight up told to leave for wearing light makeup (which they removed upon request, only to be denied anyway by security afterward.) I was looking forward to spending time with friends on my only day off and this ruined our whole afternoon. All this for a shooting that took place a decade ago? I for one am no longer patronizing Marcus. Ill wait until it comes out on dvd.
As usual always has the newest movies and rewards are great, but dont understand why Marcus doesnt accept AMEX.
Even though they lack the fancy seats from the West location, they were actually more comfortable.
After being to so many theaters in which the seats were leather reclining lazy boys, it was somewhat disheartening to try to lean back and the seat wouldnt budge. For 23 dollars for wife and I, I was expecting to at least get a foot rub while waiting for the movie to start. Nothing of the sort. This theater didnt have its signs letters fuller lit. It read M-A-_ CUS Cinema. No R, i think with all that money they raking in the could at least light their R. To save some of your dignity i recommend just going there on 5$ tues.
Really nice theater layout and well maintained too.
Great as always clean and great place for your next cinema experience
I’ve seen many movies here and it’s always been great. Beautiful lobby, great selection of candy and pop. Comfortable seats. Although I wished they turned the lights down a bit more. And last time I was there I was speaking Wookie to the girl at the ticket counter and she didn’t laugh. Come on my Wookie is awesome! AAAWWWRRRRLLLLLL!! OWWRRRRLNNNN!
The move experience was great and the staff super nice.
Theatre was comfortable. Consessions were outrageously priced!
I had to see The Good Liar and went on Tuesday . Id like to suggest being able to use our own headset ..cus i had a hard time hearing the movie . Would see it again for sure .
Prices are fairly high but that is across the board for all Marcus Cinemas. The drawback for this Cinema is that it lags behind its bigger brother across town near Bay Park Square. Bay Park has upgraded all of its seating whereas this cinema still has the older style seating. This cinema also does not have the automated ticketing system. Despite being fairly new, Bay Park makes it feel old.
Enjoyed the movie. The theatre was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Wish all seats were the big seats, but still a nice place.
Very nice and clean movie theater. Very friendly staff
Been here a couple of times and never had a bad experience, the staff is friendly, the theater is usually quiet, and you can see just about anything that comes out. The parking lot, however, is very hard to maneuver around in and could really use a repaving.
Excellent place to go to a movie. Comfortable seating and quite a few shows to choose from, many of them available early in the day (hence reasonably priced.) We often do a movie and lunch Anduzzis which is right up the block. One warning. . .the parking lot isnt well-signed and if youre not careful you may find yourself going out the in driveway.
Great place to watch movies and the only thing I dont like is I wish they would have you be able to butter your own popcorn and the soda machines need a upgrade. But other than that its a great place no other problems.
They do not have big plastic bage,s, if you buy a big tub of popcorn you can not get your second tub of popcorn pour into it so the person with you to have there own. They do on the west side.I,ll go to the west side from now on.
Very inefficient. Buy tickets online yet have to stand in long lines mixed in with people trying to buy tickets at the counter. No kiosks. No ability to scan electronic tickets at the ticket taker like their app states you should do. Marcus - you need to get your theaters into the electronics age and make it easier to get into your theaters
They have really good popcorn and free refills.
The concession stand wont take AmEx. I know they CAN take AmEx but they dont want to pay the fees. Also I was in theater one and the right side of the screen was faded but the left side was crisp all the way to the edge of the screen. It was a bit distracting. The seats are just not that comfortable either. Id say pay the extra and go to Bay Park instead.
Pricey, but very clean and nice theater
Compared to the Baypark Square Theater the Marcus East is really lacking in comfort! Seats are uncomfortable & the aisle are very narrow (very hard to get in & out of seats if you want to use the restroom or get a soda or popcorn refill. Not sure why anyone would choose to attend this theater when you can enjoy a movie in great comfort @ Baypark Square for the same price. The luxury recliners @ Baypark are SO AWESOME!!! Definately worth traveling across town to see a movie there.
Great place to catch the latest movies. The place is clean. Seating is relatively comfortable. As per the usual it would just be nice if everything was a bit cheaper. It is now a rare occasion to see a movie for this reason...everything is so expensive.
Love the $5 Tuesday movies and even better that for $6 you can see them in 3D! Free popcorn when you sign up for the rewards and earn money towards your next visit.
Clean, amazing customer service, needs a preorder kiosk for those who purchase online and would like to skip the lines
They show good movies well.
Love the $5.00 Tuesday night and being able to pick our seats early on line .They could use some signs in there parking lot to help people navigate it
Reached out to the corporate office by phone & their website to make them aware of a rude / foul employee, three times. No return phone call or email response. Sad! But, those that listen to their customers stay in business. No problem, many other companies ran their business the same & are no longer. K-Mart, Shopko, Toys R Us, etc. it shows both their level of commitment to the customer, as well as the caliber of their management.
Definitely the better of the two Marcus theaters on Green Bay. Twitch this not being by the mall, it tends to be less filled with teens. The staff are great, and the seats are more comfortable than the other cinema. They have a good variety of films, as well as times. I also felt as thought this cinema was cleaner than the other Marcus theater in town. Great experience overall. Prices are far too high though.
I went to see Aladdin, and as i go to sit; i see popcorn on the chairs and ground. I hesitated sitting honestly; gross. Lol. I cleaned what i could and decided to sit what i paid for.I had popcorn myself; great crunch, oil, and i bought some cheddar cheese powder which made it 10x better. French onion adds a nice tough as well. Both, together is like eating popcorn that tastes somewhat like pizza. Yumm. I bad a blue freeze/slushy/whatever its called. Tasted great; i havent had a bad one, yet.
I do love the new seating!
Great place to watch a movie. There are still theatres with normal seats which is nice. There are no ticket kiosks like some other Marcus theatres so be prepared.
This theater is not as busy as the Bay Park Mall one, you could get decent seat if you dont show up early.
Just seen Long Shot movie and we loved it. Laughed a lot. Clean place and yummy concessions.
Nice atmosphere, lines move quickly, remember they definitely make money on the concession stand so go on Tuesday and get discounts
Its a nice theater but Ive been in nicer ones than this.
Courteous staff in a clean theater make for a great movie experience. Cant go wrong with $5 Tuesdays. And lets not forget the movie magic in the summer for the kids.
Great theatre that is well managed. Unique discounts for seniors as well as everyone on Tuesdays. Check them out even if you have to go across town.
Love them theaters seats
Cool recliner seating! Be careful not to get too comfortable and fall asleep during a movie! Great sound.
Local Flare. However lacking upscale food options and hospitality.
There schedule was wrongI looked on there website to see what time the show was about to start, when I got there it had already started and about over. The staff wasnt pleasant at all, and when I asked a few questions all they could tell me is that I was wrong. I wasnt the only one with parents and children disappointed
Very friendly and helpful staff!
They had good seats and good movies but they should change to the loungeseats and have more movies to see
Comfy seats but they need higher backs and the handles out further for the soda spots.
I will give this theater 5 stars for the service and cleanliness throughout. I live on the west side and normally will go to the Marcus cinema at Bay Park Square Ashwaubenon where every Auditorium has the reclining lounger seats. The Green Bay East Cinema does not have this. Still comfortable seats but once you get spoiled with recliners Theres No Going Back! However, I will go back to the Green Bay East Marcus Cinema because of how nice the employees are, how clean it is and its in a pretty good location when you are over there. One major plus I give Green Bay East over the Bay Park Square Marcus Cinema is the concession food is better. By this I mean popcorn seems more fresh among other things served.
Very clean, staff were in great moods, we were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in the doors. The staff were kind and very polite
As a family we prefer to go to the East side (of Green Bay) Marcus theater then the one in Bay Park Square Mall. Its closer to us and experience is the same. I think the East side theater is cleaner, but thats just my opinion.Long lines to get in are only when a new big movie comes out. There are virtually no bad seats. Chairs are comfortable. Popcorn and snacks are ridiculously extensive (like in all movie theaters). When we plan our trip to the movies we allocate about half an hour to stop and eat dinner at Culvers, thats on the way to the theater. We still overeat popcorn once we watch a movie though.
$4.50 for water. Yikes! Everything else was good
Its nice and clean, closer to where I live. Parking lot is a bit tight and confusing to get out at first.
Really good service and clean theater
Love this place. The staff is friendly, theater is generally clean, seats are comfortable and they have $5 Tuesdays...what more can you ask for!
Clean and nice cinema. Nothing outstanding.
I have gone to this theater countless times, every time I come here I have a good time. Its never been packed, and the staff is nice. Its the ideal theater to go to, not too popular, but it has the same quality if not better than a very popular theater. My family has shared many memories and enjoyable moments here. This will always be a part of my movie history.
Great snacking options and its always clean
It was super hot in the theatre. My daughter used the restroom and was grossed out by the lack of cleanliness. They had 3 registers at the snack counter and only one knew what they were doing. Also the woman with the baby who cried through the whole movie and the kid next to me with horrible manners didnt help.
Great. Helpful concesion people.
Sadly Marcus isnt keeping this theater in great shape nor as up to date as its sister multiplex across town. (Marcus Bay Park Cinema...a far better facility.)
A top quality theater experience with great sound and comfortable seating.
Overpriced concessions but otherwise wonderful staff and comfy seats
A great alternative to the west side location, this Marcus Cinema is updated and generally less crowded than the Bay Park location. The only small downside is the parking lot configuration. It doesn’t have the best flow and can sometimes cause small traffic jams when movies get out and everyone tries to leave at once.Just adding that for a heads up, not a complaint!
Tuesday night deal is the best. Would be 5 stars if they upgrade all the seats to the Dream Loungers
Concessions are a bit but good experience, stays clean.
My favorite theater. Good family and student crowd usually. Spacious and clean lobby. Nice service at the concession stands. Love the $5 Tuesday & $6 Thursday for faculty & students. Theater location too is in a nice peaceful neighborhood. My only very minor complaint; wish they had one of their super or ultra screen options too here.
Much cleaner than the bay park cinema and good customer service.
Good idea to check both Eastside and Bay Park Marcus Theatres for different movies & showtimes.Go on $5 Tuesdays if looking for a deal.Enhance your motion picture experience by getting drunkski next door at Anduzzis, on Eastside, or Old Chicago if at Bay Park. One last thought, though controversial, I gotta say, paying the extra for a 3D movie is always worth it. Why settle for two, when you could have a whole nother dimension!
Marcus Green Bay East is the theater we usually go to since we live in Kewaunee County. The theater gets a quick cleaning after each show. It is reasonably priced and we love the popcorn. One of my wifes favorite presents is a Marcus gift certificate.Last but not least, seats are comfortable and sound quality is excellent.
Clean. But snack prices ridiculously high. So a person on a budget cant afford to snack.
Great place, I love movies Im hoping they will have the lounge/recliner chairs like the West Cinema does. Because they were so comfortable I fell asleep.
Very good theatre, surprised not many people go to this one. If you cant get a showing at Bay park this one is always a good choice
Very comfortable seating!
Downton Abby .... great movie!
Very clean, great workers
I love this place its BIG
This is the main theater I go to, instead of driving all the way to the west side. Unlike the west side, they have standard seating instead of the luxury seating. The bathrooms are kept clean, however there is only a two stall womens bathroom for the entire right side of the theater. You either have to walk to the other side or wait in line which is frustrating.Their bagel bites are generous size and very good, a little too much salt on them however. Popcorn and slushies are great always. There is plenty of furniture inside the lobby if you want to hang out before or after your movie which is nice if you are looking to Uber or waiting to be picked up.
Good picture and sound, comfortable stadium seating. I have seen other Marcus Theaters with bistro seating (tables for eating) and better food variety to go with it. Wish this one had that.
The BEST movie theater
Smaller crowds, cheaper tickets, I love this place.
