The home to the Greeley Stampede, the Children’s Fair and the Home and Gardens show, the venue is super versatile and fun, we look forward to the stampede every fourth of July, especially for the fireworks. They play lots of shows and rodeo type events. The venue could be cleaner in the bathrooms, but aside from that it’s a great park.

Large inclusive playground. One of the best playgrounds we saw. The kids loved it. There are restrooms and picnic tables. A splash pad is just next to it.

Th Independence Day Greeley Stampede is a Colorado tradition. Island Grove Grounds were easy & comfortable to navigate. Incredibly great time.#rydsafe️

Well groomed plus nice trails in back. Lots of shaded spots, clean bathrooms. Goverment employees really take pride in the maintenance work.

The entire area is generally clean and managed well. Looking forward to events coming back soon.

Best park to take your dog for exercise. Lots of trees for shade, plenty of open space and nice, healthy green grass for your pup to roll around in.

Great park! Excellent play ground but also good open space. We played Frisbee after riding the Zipline a few times each

It was crowded for a Sunday. There was a lot of people, not to bad. Had something going on by the event center dont know what it was.

Great regional park on the Poudre River, ideal for big events, Greeley Stampede Rodeo, Poudre Trail access or a family BBQ/picnic.

One of my favorite spots to just relax sitting by the river

If your looking for family fun in the sun, this park is great. The splash park is free and enclosed, so you dont have to worry about kids running off if you have more than one to look out for. The actual park has newer equipment and the structures are unique, with many different areas of play.

This was a super nice park, my kids had a field trip there and the equipment looked brand new and the scenery was kept up. I also had a meeting in one of the buildings. The buildings are spacious and bathrooms remain clean and organized.

Avens village is a really cool park... This park had way cool stuff: sitting zip-line, huge grassy area.

Its awesome not too far from Denver. Went to super cross they do a nice track an prices were good if you got tickets before 4:00. Parking was good for racers . concession was open for breakfast an lunch. Had a great time.

We came in from Reno, NV for the dog show friends Doberman was entered in. The most friendly vendors. Purchased a burger, fries and water for $10.00, so big that it fed two. Park was very clean and well kept, as well as the bathrooms. Park staff were courteous. RV hook ups were there for all of the dog show entrants RVs. RVs were parked on pavement which faced the green grass park lawns. Really well set up in a beautiful park.

Was a vendor for the Caregiver Symposium. Awesome volunteers who drove the golf carts, so friendly! It was organized and the classes were well-attended.

This is a very nicely maintained park that is associated with the Greeley Rodeo stadium. There is a nice museum on the grounds. There are quite a few dog shows held at the facility. Its well maintained and is updated regularly.

It’s OK. We were there for a volleyball tournament and there were a ton of courts. It’s super loud and cramped. At least the folding chairs were comfortable and there was a place to buy snacks.

The park wasnt bad. The rodeo and concert were good but the demo derby sucked. Mendoza didnt win the compacts the other guy did. You dont have anyone competing the derby except local drivers. I didnt get any food because its to expensive.

The facility there is good for events. The craft show I went to was just ok. Less vendors than previous shows, some nice jewelry and photography.

We have been to the Demolition Derby the last couple years. Its always a spectacle and a good time. We love the RVs. If youre not into hillbilly things, the people watching is phenomenal. The only reason I took off a couple stars is because you cant bring your purse into the arena (even after they search your purse at the main entrance). Your only choices are to buy a lock ($10) or find a clear purse. Really irritating.

I go to there for most events in this town.and I have had great exprenceses every time.

The event center is very large. Could use more restrooms. The craft fair was poorly advertised and attended. A total bust for vendors.

Need to replace grass in display area with a strong turf, Stampede time destroys the grass as well

Went on a cool 60-degree day, nice and quiet, large picnic areas, was fun to bike around the whole thing, clean streets, family friendly, love that the Poudre river is right there, so peaceful! Will be back for a concert for sure!

This was a great day very informational and got a lot of things checked such as my eyes my ears my credit report and they even gave me some food it was awesome day

Great venue And big enough for a huge group of people

Meet with some old friends here today as they live about 5 hours away. For the most park it was fun. However my twins are only 21 months so the water area was very fun for them. There wasnt really any where your body can get wet, but not ur face. But Ill forsure come back when the twins are little older.

Attended several concerts there, REO Speedwaggon was one of them, great food on the fairway and free concerts as well out by the food tents. Ladies, bring a small clutch bag in for concerts unless it is see through, then you can bring a bigger purse /bag. Cowboy Nachoes were my fave for 2019!

Awesome place to have little ones burn off energy! Lots of distractions, watch them close.

It has been years since I have been here and I love the upgrades done to the park. It now looks inviting and welcoming for all and anyone to enjoy.

We went here for the Weld County Fair. Its a great facility and the fair was fun. Its a great place to take small children. Animals, shows, tractors, horse-drawn wagon rides

Beautiful place and its where they hold the Stampede! Nuff said! Its a park worthy of a city twice the size of Greeley!

We attend the Greeley Blues Jam every year here and its a fantastic event. Lots of shade trees outside the rodeo arena and shaded seating in the arena area. Clean bathrooms and lots of parking.

The Greeley Independence Stampede is always am entertaining way to spend a day.Good food, interesting people, and usually a few good acts to watch while getting dobbe outdoor exercise.

Dirty, trash on the grounds and muddy. I think they really need to think about renovating soon. They concert was excellent, being ran into, stepped on, constantly bumped into causing their beer to splashall over you...ugh, NOT fun. You have to be constant guarding your spot, as there is always someone whos had a few more than you, trying push, shove and inch their way ahead of you. Sadly most everyone is taller than I am, which means of I let them in, I wont be able to see. They should have a section just for short people, then you never have to worry about your before being block then having to watch they concert on the jumbotron. Just a thought

Went to the Stampede. Very hot (it was July after all). The food court food was not very good.

The park there is magnificent! Really fun to go to on a summer day.

We went to see the Jordan WorksCircus here. My children had a great time. Yes, the Circus was trying to get us to spendmoney on anything but thats how it goes. The performances were great and we got what we paid for.

One of the kids favorite parks we call it the bumpy slide park because there is one slide that has rollers and the kids love going on it plus it has a zip line and also music area where you can explore music and noise.

The rides is so much fun andI have time to play and spend tome with my family.

I really really like this park, it is definitely for younger children which rocks from 0-10. The only thing that I would change about this park, is it needs a restroom! Sometimes theyll have a porta-potty near the park but as parents we all know that porta potties are gross and rarely ever truly an option.Other than that, its a blast

It has lots of events for the local population through out the year the weld county Fair and Corvette show were yesterday and it was amazing

One of my fave places for a dog show..have good areas for handycaped persons..rest rooms are cllean .. good areas to let dogs play as well as having several buidings for different events

A truly beautiful park. The arena is a fantastic venue for music. Plenty of room, parking and space to breathe and stretch out, even when thousands of people are there for events or festivals. Highly recommended, and the nicest place in Greeley, unless youre fond of the smell of nearby feedlots.

The venue was vast, comfortable and accomodating for our kick off to the school year. Plenty of breathing room.
