Very clean, great service, great furnishings and awesome food. There rooms and yerts are very cozy. Due to covid they are only doing privately schedule events sadly. I hope they can open again soon and if you want to book something with them I highly recommend it.

Brisket that melts like butter! This place is an oasis. It feels like you are sitting in your own backyard with the fire pits and lawn games and everyone is a friend here. The food is amazing, the bar is well stocked and the service is friendly. This is our favorite after work spot.

Platte River Fort hosted a benefit for a young man battling cancer today. I attended to play guitar with some of the folks I play with on Wednesday nights at Bears in downtown Greeley.The facility is huge and squeaky clean, the food was excellent and the drinks generous .I would go back as an entertainer or customer anytime. I had a great afternoon up into the evening.

My family and I decided last minute to try out our new camper this weekend. Fortunately we were able to find Platte River Fort had plenty of available spots. When we arrived we were able to find our spot very easily and it was nice and clean. Cindy and Rod were very accommodating. My only concern is with the pricing, paying $45 per night for dry camping is a little too much for us to go back. Other than the price everything else was wonderful.

Very nice place to stay would very recommend itmy daughter reserved us a yurt very nice all you need to bring is clothes and food. The Yurt has a bed table screened windows and entrance restrooms are close by you can tube down the river they provide tubes, we loved tubing you can walk bike, Hike, fish all sorts of things you can to to relax there is a bar and restaurant at the entrance if you liked to enjoy and evening there also will definitely come back Thanks Dori!

Had Brunch and was delicious!! Would recommend the french toast for sure! Dinner is also really good. Good service!!

Food and atmosphere was good, a bit pricey but I guess its a trade off. 16 oz T-Bone, and Prime Rib.

This place is gorgeous and has some great camping. Would recommend their facility for weddings and large family gatherings..

My daughter rented us Yurt by the river we got the peace yurt Wich is awesome they have several to choose from. These yurts have beds in them very clean ready for you just to bring in your clothes and food.They have tubing down the river Wich we loved and you can do fishing biking, bring your games and enjoy this wonderful place to relax. At the entrance the owner has a restaurant and bar to enjoy an evening of relaxation. Will definitely come back Thanks Dori for this weekend

This place is perfect! My boyfriend, and I celebrated our anniversary here a few weeks ago and couldn’t have loved it any more! We stayed in the cuddle yurt (all of their yurts are right on the river, which our dog loved, too!) and it was just so cute and cozy! The staff were all so great...they catered to our needs and they really made us feel like family. From yurts on a river, to forts as the home-base, and their own bar & grill — this place really is the whole package! So happy we found this gem! :)

I cannot say enough good things about the fort!!! To start off the scenery is absolutely breathtaking, especially coming from California where we see buildings and smog everywhere we go. The staff was very welcoming and extremely accommodating to everything and anything we needed. The rooms were perfectly decorated and very true to the theme of the rest of the fort. The activities they had planned for us was fun for all ages. Seeing the farm animals, especially feeding them, made my daughters entire trip! A huge THANK YOU to the staff and management team for making our time there absolutely amazing and for having a space for my family and I to make forever memories!

Where do I begin.......Absolutely amazing location with beautiful scenery. Was there for a family reunion and their accommodations are top notch. All staff was very attentive and enjoyable to engage with. Every detail was perfect and cant wait to go back again. Definitely dont want to miss out on visiting this amazing location.

If you want an Awesome and Memorable Experience you have to go there. The staff is so helpful and goes above and beyond to care of all your needs. Not to mention the views on the property especially along the river where you can go tubing. Take lots of pictures for all your Memories. The food is Great too. What a Great Experience. Great place to hold an event lots of area. Bar and dance floor. I went on a tour of the rooms and they are really nice. I would suggest having an event there year round. Lots of flys when we attended a wedding there in Sept

Beautiful place to get away for a few days or even a night. Gorgeous rooms and an amazing kitchen. The atmosphere is great. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

What an amazing venue and all the staff are very kind and helpful. The food at Hanks Bar and Grill is delicious! You can stay in rooms in the fort or in yurts or a covered wagon down by the river. Several locations to have a wedding and the photo opportunities are unlike any other. You can sit around the fire pits and make smores or have a drink and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The big barn is perfect for receptions. I will definitely be back!

We had a family reunion at the Fort over the Fourth of July weekend! It was fantastic! The employees were very attentive and the facilities are amazing. They went above and beyond to make every detail memorable! So thankful for the memories!

Love the Platte River Fort, go there whenever I can. Staff may appear to be rude and disrespectful when guests refuse to follow the rules, especially when asked repeatedly. Thanks for the staff at The Fort for enforcing rules and keeping the place safe and welcoming for the rest of us. Even tho my family owns The Fort, if I brought in all my own booze despite VERY CLEAR rules stating otherwise and passed out on the couch to sleep I would certainly expect consequences.....SMH

Everyone, yall have to check this place out. My wife and I had the best time and the best barbeque ever here. The atmosphere is as amazing as the food. The staff was awesome as well. I just cant say enough about the experience.We will be regulars here for sure...........

I attended Platte River Fort for my brother’s wedding. The venue is cool however, the manager is very rude and disrespectful. Also, the log stairs are very loose and felt like they are about to break when you walk on them.

Can’t wait to go back! Fantastic place, great environment, wonderful service/staff and plenty of food to choose from.

My daughter and I just found this hidden Gem. It is very beautiful. It was late so Ill be back again with more people :).

What an absolutely delightful boutique bed & breakfast spot in Northern Colorado! From the minute I walked in, I felt transported to another time.Heres what I learned about the place: The expansive site began in 2001 as a private residence (for a woman who wanted a home just like Bent’s Fort… and her husband gave her just that). The property was sold in 2013 and converted into a unique rustic-yet-luxurious event center that opened its doors to the public for weddings, conferences, retreats, and family outings in 2015.We visited the Fort for a private event and it was a great place for a retreat. Funny thing too because its located right off a very busy highway but it feels very isolated once you arrive on property.Property:Its set up on a bluff so all windows facing west have a great view of the mountains.The owner Dori took us on a tour of the property which is amazing! Tons of space (not sure of exact acreage but they have enough room for people to glamp onsite & I hear that covered wagons will soon be available at the Fort!)There is cattle that are out to pasture with unique names such as Cheeseburger .. but not to worry, most of the cows are named after rock songs. You know, like Cheeseburger in paradiseThe interior fort area is so cool - an open area where you can sit by the campfire at night and grill smores and feel tucked in and secure.There is an interesting educational room that has different old furs & pelts - its a cool way for kids and grownups to touch different animal furs.There is a large barn thats great for events which also sport my faaavortie thing: Market Lights!Rooms: I stayed in the Bridal Suite which was an absolute delight! VERY room, comfy king bed and a large clawfoot tub (which also has one of those handy little tub trays for books, wine glass, etc) I put it to good use. ;)The other rooms in the main house were also great. The upper rooms had access to the huge upper deck that has an amazing view.- There are also bunk rooms (perfect for kids) as well as lower level bedrooms in the outer area (other side of open space) that were nice. They did not have private bathrooms but the public bathrooms were close by & nice.Common Areas: HUGE kitchen they still seemed super homey & nice. Like a kitchen for one of those families that has like 16 kids. The dining area & separate sitting areas all face the gorgeous groundsParking: Tons of parking - not to worry!I was so relaxed that I didnt even have time to ask if they have Wifi but Im sure they do.Staff: Owner Dori DeJong is truly a delight & shes put together a fabulous place that feels historic but has all the upgraded comforts.
