It was closed when we were there but then outside displays were great and they had a lot of information ready.

Very cool place with a lot of working 19th century mining equipment. Gary the docent was very informative and ran a lot of the machinery for us.

Now, that was a nice walk. The weather that day was great for a mini adventure. The area was well kept and totally felt safe. The history presented was very cool. Easy to read plaques explained the purpose of the equipment as well as the timelines. The historic buildings and bridges were near to see. Its wheelchair accessible and a smoothly asphalted path to walk. Great for all ages. Highly recommend!!

Small mining museum but very interesting. Nice picnic area, in the works, behind the museum. There are 3 or 4 walking bridges across the fast running creek over to the picnic tables plus a newly made blacktop walking, running, or biking trail that leads to the Raleys Shopping Center. It will be really nice when its all finished. Ive been there several times and have only seen one maybe two people go by while Ive been there. I would recommend seeing this mining museum and picnic area.

Nice outdoor history museum walking tour.

We stop by just to look around at the old gold mining equipment. When we entered inside the actual building we was totally amazed. Most of the equipment in side worked and some where fired up just for us we where the only people in there total of five. The man inside wish I caught his name knew everything about all aspects of the gold mining days. Highly recommended.

No tables or chairs. Lovely setting but no access to water. We were there while museum was open.

Full of Gold Country history. Definently a were here, lets go see stop for out of towners. Local fisherman fish off the bridge over Wolf Creek and always fun to talk to. Great rest stop for travelers and perfect location to meet up with friends. Its safe to park there for a few hours if you are meeting people. The museum is straight out of a Pzint Your Wagon scene. Always worth stopping at. Handicap accessible and kids will love it.

This park is a fantastic step back in history. Everytime were in town we try to stop by and walk the grounds. (Dogs are welcome)

Interesting exhibit of water wheels, mining history, and minerals. Probably best for adults or older kids. Nice park setting with picnic tables across the bridge. Cool inside the store building.

Only looked at the outdoor portion, as the indoor portion was closed for the winter. Super cool looking at all the mining stuff!
