We visited 5 wineries in the applegate valley today and Troon was by far the best. Not even close. Every wine was good, both white and red varieties. Service was beyond excellent-Ashley was knowledgeable and prompt with the tastings. Cannot say enough positive about Troon. Easily couldve been our only stop.

Delicious wine, beer, and cider plus a friendly and knowledgeable staff! The view from the tasting room proves there is never poor weather in Southern Oregon. We learned that the vineyard has a biodynamic scientist on staff to ensure the different grape varieties are grown in soil best suited for them- talk about devotion to your craft!!

We love Troon. They use an Uber bio friendly approach to the wine making and the entire property. The grounds are stunning and serene, with a multitude of different plants, trees and birds. The wines are awesome. Ashley has been delivering wines to our front door during lockdown! My only disappointment was that they were not offering their amazing charcuterie boards until things get squared away. YOU MUST GO.

We had been at the Troon Tasting room in Carlton but, since we were in the Grants Pass area, decided to stop in at the winery -- and what a treat. The back patio is a beautiful, peaceful area to sit and relax. The winery staff were so friendly and accommodating to us and our two pups and loved talking about the winery and its wines. We also had the meat/cheese platter and found it to be a perfect compliment to the fabulous wines. Will be visiting again when were in the area.

Thought no one would be there since its pretty out of the way. What a surprise. Very busy, and even better, the wine was better than I expected as well, including some great organics!

The employee Ashley, who assisted us was very knowledge & friendly. She was able to answer all of the questions that we had without hesitation. Hopefully when we visit again she will be the one to assist us.

Great winery ....tastings were generous and staff are very knowledgeable about all things wine. The estate wines seem consistently good....and much to our delight we left with a port that had not been included on the listing. The winery has beautifully landscaped grounds and nicely appointed facilities that could support a variety of venues!!

I havent been to the winery, but just bought a bottle of dry Riesling. 2017. Really not good with a strange after taste.

Delicious wine, lovely scenery, and the most wonderful employees ever. What was supposed to be a brief visit to several wineries in the Applegate turned into a many hours long visit to Troon because: delicious wine, beautiful space, and really awesome people :)

Great experience tasting here. Very nice variety of reds including the Syrah. Service was spectacular as well

Nathan was hilarious and a great host during our tasting. We learned a lot about the blends of Troon wines and loved the tasting comparisons. Great vineyard and well worth the drive from Brookings, OR.
