Brilliant example of modernism and community in the humble city of Grand Rapids. It resembles the values of this city quite well I think. It’s my favorite place to go if I just want to leave the house and bless my eyes for a bit.

Awesome Calder sculpture in an appropriate setting. Few people know he also painted a mural on the roof of one of the buildings on the square too. How cool. Can only really see it from the air or from a taller building nearby.
