Nice and clean. Probably the least consistent of the Grand Rapids Celebration theaters as far as screen size, seating and configuration.

The staff here is AMAZING! Every time we go here (and with the VIP monthly pass - its now a lot!), we get the same consistently great service. Everyone is extremely helpful and courteous. Thank you for that!

We went to see Frozen 2 on New Year’s Day at 11 AM with a big group including several young children. Everyone working was fantastic. Sameer at the concessions counter was delightful and so kind to our whole family. Those working at the ticket counter were very helpful and patient working to get our whole group sitting together. It was so welcoming to see such smiling faces, especially on a day we know that no one wants to be working!

Wish the chairs were more comfortable but the staff was polite. During the quiet parts of the movie I saw I could hear music coming from somewhere else in the building. Wasnt even another movie. Someone was listening to the same song over and over again.

Came here to see Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and it was excellent. Prices are a bit steep ($11.50 for an adult ticket! $5 for a large fountain drink! $5 for a hot dog!), which is to be expected at a movie theater, but is still frustrating nonetheless. Comfortable seats, comfortable climate (Im usually either freezing or roasting but I was very comfortable)

Got the VIP pass for a month for some winter entertainment and it has been well worth it. 3 movies a week for a month for only $19.99USD you really cant beat that. Snacks and stuff are still extremely pricey but its not that big of a deal to me or my friends.

Manager was very rude. Just wanted to buy 2 empty popcorn boxes he said I could only buy them if I paid 11.00 each. I explained I was doing a Christmas gift for somebody. Showed him I had just purchased 4 passes and wanted to put them in the boxes for friends that were movie lovers. He said well then pay $22.00 for them

Always a good time, friendly staff and prompt service. The place is never dirty as well. I do wish they would upgrade the seats to recliners like they have at a few of the other locations, but I have never had a bad experience here. We love bringing our family along for TACO Tuesdays and Sunday funday at the movies.

Good service and clean interior. Prices are high though when you buy online, which is what I feel forced to do since theh removed the self service kiosk and the lines for tickets and concessions are insanely long.

This was my go to place for cinema until I moved. Its what you would come to expect from many theater joints. One thing this place has over others is they tend to get select movies that have very limited runs.Cleanliness is something they keep up on for the most part.The community about this place is decent as well.

I asked the CC at the woodland mall how much tickets were. I was told around 5 dollars. so when I went to this CD I was expecting the same. unfortunately is was over double that. still confused about this. what is the difference between the two to cause such a difference?

I gave this place five stars two years ago, but I wish I can rate it without the stars. this place is horrible when it comes to attending movies on a holiday! I retrieved my money back and left with my son! You make me get up out of seats that I know I paid for a white couple?! wrong move! I am very thorough on things I spend my money on, even movie seats! so I will never patronize any establishment that have the common sense of a mule to put themselves in the light of social media exposing their ignorance of racism! get a clue and common sense! Thank God for Netflix, Hulu and the other tools coming out that will save more money in my pocket!

Staff is great they are super helpful. They dont get all of the movies the other celebration cinemas in town get. Clean and never really packed.

Had a good time, the lobby area was clean. The neon lights all over kinda get you amped up for the movie. About average price for big theaters.

We left today. We came in at 11:30 in the morning. The line was almost to the door. They didnt have enough people working. The ticket counter wasnt open just the concession stand. There wasnt any school today and they were not ready for the amount of people.

Went to see IT 2 with the whole family. We were comfortable and enjoyed our family night. Staff was nice and made pleasant conversation while they checked the IDs.

Very good service and great seats, but high prices. Around $12 for a movie. The biggest benefit is they have all the best movies and the most showtimes in the area. Facilities are overall top notch. Star theater is a bit cheaper and has better seating but overall not as refined

Great atmosphere. I like the assigned seats. Not having to get there super early just to pick a seating area I want is nice. The staff make every visit a positive experience. Image was good. Sound system is excellent. The theater was kept clean. I mean there would be popcorn spilled around the butter and salt bar, but it wasn’t still there when I went back to get a refill 10 min later. Recommend.

They have the best selection of new movies in town. Its always clean and staff is friendly. Their rewards program is worth joining. There are a few locations in the area and each has its own unique specialness.

Its a really nice theater with comfortable seats and the staff is friendly. The only complaint I have is I think the volume is a little too low during the movie.

Only place we go for movies - nice & close to home & can get motorized chair for me to get there.

Celebration has been here for many years. They know what they are doing.Clean, comfortable, will bring food to your seat if they have don’t have it ready.Seating is reserved so there are never arguments over who’s seat this is.Not much more you can ask for.

Go on Tuesday end its half of every movie! If there was something decent to see every week, we would probably go every week for date night! Nice, big place. Lots of theaters. Clean and updated decor. Comfortable seating and various sizes of auditoriums! The smaller one felt like a family living room (if you had 50 people or so in your family! Lol) highly recommended!

Very nice movie theater, i hadnt been here before. All of the Workers that we encountered were very nice, looks like they have been taught about customer service in a society where customer service is waining! I also appreciated how clean the place was, says a lot about the management!

Let me start with saying the staff is always amazing! Its always clean and the staff are aways kind and courteous. Now the new seating chart is not too cool. We get to our seats and they are taken. This is not an uncommon occurrence. And finally the pricing. Its great that you have the movie club card but at the end of the day it really doesnt save you any money. Every other time we visit the price goes up. What happened to the days of Jack being it fun and affordable? Oh wait I know, greedy John started his own theater and doesnt care about the patrons and only cares about fattening his wallet.Needless to say not really worth it. But it makes the boss happy so i will continue to waist the time and money then continue to cry about it after.

Great cinema. What you could expect.

Watched a good movie here on a Wednesday evening. Not busy, parking lot less than 25% full. Employees fine. Theatre had a stink to it like a light tinge of vomit mixed with bleach. Not overwhelming, but not pleasant. Sound was poor. Screen had poor contrast, very washed out blacks in an animated movie about dragons. Next time Ill go to a better nearby theatre.

This staff knows hospitality. Its super clean at all times, and its just a fantastic experience for the whole family, for date night, or if youre a single and want to escape into a movie. Well done South.

I went to watch how to train a dragon 3. This is one of my favorite cinemas, the service is awesome, people there are always smiling and welcoming you. The cinema is always clean. I recommend it.

Great place to see a movie. They have many theaters and they are well maintained. They offer traditional movies, 3D, and DBox in some theaters. You can buy tickets at the counter or at a kiosk. You select your seat at the time of purpose. People at the counters are very friendly. Bathrooms are clean. They also have a small arcade there as well. Seen lots of movies there and never a negative experience.

I would live to give more stars here. However, the theater is dirty. The staff was rude and unconcerned. Other patrons talked or used their cell phones throughout the movie, and no staff ever stopped them or said anything to them. It took other patrons to quiet them down. Disgraceful. The upside, I am convinced to stay home and wait for movies to come out on video.

I like the surrounding area this theater is in. I feel the seating could be upgraded to the wider more comfortable chairs. The staff at the concession bar however stands out as exception and friendly. Its a clean place.

Normally always have a good experience but last night me and my friends went to go see a movie. we didn’t know until we sat in the theatre for 10 minute that we were in the wrong movie. the worker at the front gave us tickets to the wrong movie. we then went to the concession to get new tickets and it took awhile because they had to change all of our tickets. We then were late into the movie we came to see. We were sad because we missed the beginning of the movie and did not know what had happened.

Good place to watch movie. Wish they could upgrade the seating like many of the other theatres are doing, but still a good place to go.

The movie was great and the theater accommodations were excellent as usual.

It was just that. Just okay. My daughter and I were questioning why it was cold in the theatre movie area.

This theatre is NOT as handicap friendly as they claim to be. Entrance... GOOD. Lobby... OK. Seating options... VERY LIMITED and NOT SUITABLE for legs to remain elevated. We were (politely) asked to refrain from using wheelchair to prop legs on even though we were almost the only ones there and on the far end, AND was not blocking walkway. I understand the safety concerns however it is the theatres responsibilty to provide proper accomodations. WILL NEVER GO TO SOUTH C! AGAIN. First time we made it out on a date since the evenrt (or movies together, ever) so nothing gonna stop us from having a great time, despite it all.

Always love the movies. Love that they have specials on some movies for certain hours and days. Nice comfortable seats/theater rooms. Concession stand is pricey if course.

The chairs at this location are comfortable. Parking wasnt too difficult. There is also a machine where you can purchase your own ticket. You dont have to wait in line.

Love to see second run movies at reasonable prices. Great associates.

Great movie with my sweetheart

My favorite movie theater in my hometown. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the concession stand refreshments are delicious (my favorites are frozen Pepsi, a small popcorn, and SourPatch Watermelon). The only issue I have is that the ticket prices are unnecessarily steep. I suggest buying gift cards so you don’t have to break the bank to see your favorite show!

So, anyone whos been to Celebration Cinema knows that these cinemas are busy on any opening night. North is the hottest spot, however this location should be your next choice if ever North is sold out. Being right off of M6, it is a quick drive to get here, theres enough time to order your tickets ahead of time, get the seats you want, and theres some good eats around if the showing is a bit later than youre expecting. And if it isnt opening night, this theater is typically quiet, all the good seats are still there, and lines are short.

Always a fun family experience with great staff! I just dont like that stadium seating.
