Watermark and staff are exceptional!We had scheduled our daughters wedding reception in January 2020 for September 19, 2020.Even through all of the mandates and issues the Watermark staff was trying to make this work in their larger ball room. We had made adjustments to the number of guest, and Watermark kept us informed of the plans.As the summer went on, and pressure from the state became unreasonable as to regulations, and limits that would be put on the reception, we decided we needed to change our plans.I fully expected that Watermark would keep part of our deposit and hope that we would schedule something later, but they didnt!!There was no hesitation, or question, total understanding, and they refunded us our entire deposit, and with their warmest wishes for our new plans.Thank You!

We had originally planned our wedding at Watermark indoors in May 2020 but had to delay it to October 2020 and have it outdoors. The entire experience with Watermark and Rylin was so easy and professional. They worked with us throughout the many iterations of our planning and really helped alleviate any stress they could. We had our dream event and wed recommend Watermark to anyone! The space (indoors and outdoors) is so beautiful, the staff was extremely professional, and the food (dinner + appetizers) was great! We got many compliments on the quality and portion size of the wedding food.Edit: I forgot to mention but we also had my bridal shower outdoors at Watermark on the patio! It was such a beautiful event.Throughout everything Watermark helped keep our events within Covid regulations and guests feeling safe while also enjoying a wonderful, carefree time.

We recently hosted our outdoor ceremony and reception here, and it happened flawlessly. The coordinator, Vanessa, was with us all the way, checking in, offering suggestions, and making things easier for us during the chaos. I never had a worry about changes because I knew they would not only follow the barrage of mandates, but do what they could for us. They walked us through everything and helped us out where they could. The staff is tremendously polite and helpful, and the food was amazing. Everyone at our wedding only had good things to say about the day and how absolutely beautiful the setting and venue is. The Watermark stayed up to date on the current mandates and informed me and made changes where necessary in order for us to still have our day. The Watermark also provided hand sanitizer and masks for guests. We cannot thank the staff at Watermark Country Club enough for helping us make this day happen.

Challenging but fair course. Staff was always super helpful and made for a great day of golf. Not score wise but great nevertheless.

Hosted a bridal shower at Watermark Country Club this weekend. So pleased with how everything came together! Staff was polite and helpful, delicious food and a beautiful setting outside on the patio. Would definitely recommend this venue!

Staff were great! Room was beautiful! Food was good. Pleasantly surprised that we could afford to have our work Christmas party at the Watermark. I thought it would have been out of my budget, but there were meal options that were quite reasonably priced.

Events team went above and beyond to make accommodations for a last minute off-site business meeting. Staff was friendly, food was great, and all of the equipment and space we needed was provided without question.

Worst service I have ever had in restaurant. palm and bring waited 10 minutes for a cup of coffee when I said Id like more she brought me a hot water for tea. Waited an hour she came to the table she lost our order for simply a disaster

The restaurant at the club is definitely 2 or 3 dollar signs for pricing, but the do a nice job on the food, and everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Particularly the French Onion soup - two orders at the table and both people enjoyed the soup very much.only rating 4 stars because it is a bit pricey.

Watermark blew me away with their professionalism, customer service and general event coordination. Id recommend anyone hold an event here!

Went for a luncheon event. Greeted warmly by staff. Food service was fine. Facilities not wow but clean and well maintained.

Visited here for a work holiday party. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers and pizza. We were reserved near the bar so was a little noisier than I wouldve liked. But the service and quick and friendly. Food was tasty.

The Watermark was such a wonderful venue to work with. Elise was very helpful in planning and was very responsive when I had a million questions and changes to make. The space itself is prettier than any pictures do it justice. Our guests were wowed by how beautiful the scenery was looking out onto the golf course. It was an absolutely perfect venue for our big day.

A premiere choice for golf! They actually welcome those who choose to walk! Challenging holes mixed with a few easy holes. Superb fairways and greens. Bunkers a little thin on sand. Overall, an outstanding choice.

The BEST experience of cheerful service, professionalism, atmosphere, food and service. If I had more kids, Id have everyone of their rehearsal dinners at Watermark!

I ran lighting for a wedding here and let me tell you what...above and beyond! Not only did they take care of all the guests, they also took care of us working the wedding. Very professional, very courteous, extremely efficient. I would highly recomend if you are planning on having a wedding in the Grand Rapids area.

I recently attended a wedding reception here as a guest. The staff had a seating faux pas and last minute before food was served tried to quickly cram two extra seats into our full table. That was no big deal; people need to sit, and our table was happy to accommodate. After looking at their table number, however, the two folks in question realized they were guided to the wrong table and left to find their correct seats before ever even sitting down. A little cramped and awkward, our table looked around for the staff that just brought these two new chairs to our table, and with none in close proximity, I carried the two chairs back toward the event entrance, not upset, just trying to get the issue handled quickly as people were about to start moving to the food line and I didnt want the chair mess to get caught in the middle. My mother was the mistress of ceremony and had helped set up the reception, so it only struck me as problem solving for me to help remove the chairs as quickly as they had appeared. The woman who appeared to be manager for the evening caught me just as I was nearing the hallway and aggressively asked me what the problem was. I calmly told her a couple seats were just incorrectly added to our table, and the individuals they were intended for realized their seats were elsewhere, so they werent needed; we were just trying to quickly get them out of the way so we werent so cramped trying to eat. She then proceeded to argue with me about the table number on the place cards of those individuals, insistent that she read an 8, which she repeated several times. I hadnt even seen the place cards, I was just relaying what the individuals had said as they left, but regardless, we didnt need these extra seats at our full table. She took the chairs from me and walked away, shaking her head, and continuing to mumble about how she knew what she saw. I walked away and thought that was that, but from my table, we could all see her then telling the story to the rest of her staff, clearly frustrated and gesturing in my direction, which was distracting to say the least. Then when my table went through the buffet line, this woman approached me again, I believe in attempts to make an apology (?), but proceeded again to bring up the table numbers and said, I guess it couldve been a 3. I just said okay, took my food, and went back to my seat, but the entire rest of the night, whenever this woman walked by, it appeared she was giving the side-eye, something that didnt go unnoticed by the rest of the table. You guys, I work in insurance, Im used to people being hostile toward me, but this is the rudest anyone has treated me in quite some time. I didnt come to this wedding to argue with staff; I came to celebrate with my family. I wouldve loved to remember this evening as a happy, carefree night, and this will certainly be a reception Ill remember for some time, but what Ill be remembering wont be the fun we had dancing, the nice setting, or way the bride lit up the room; it will be how completely unprofessionally I was treated by the staff that will first come to mind.

Wonderful Golf course, great staff, well maintained Greens.

This course is always a blast to play but can be so challenging. There seems to be water hidden in certain areas so it really helps to know the layout! Fairways and greens are always in immaculate condition.

The food and service at the last few events I have been at was wonderful! The weekday lunch service was slower then I would have liked, but the food was great as usual.

Went to my company’s Christmas party. It was a blast, spacious, great food, and two drink bars. Can’t forget desserts!

The country club is a great facility. The two restaurants have great food and the golf course is always in amazing shape! The people that work there are a fun and professional mix. If you havent been to Cork or Vintage, you should try them out. The remodel that took place in 2015 look awesome.

Watermark country club is the best country club Ive ever attended. The food is soooooo good especially at cork. The waiters we have are always so kind and the service at cork is super fast. The cork is perfect for outings. Also the golf course is always in perfect shape.

One of the best courses in this area. If you have to opportunity to play, do so. Perfect place for an event as well.

Employer had a banquet at Watermark, food was horribly dry and flavorless plus they running out of food before everyone was served. If you stop eating for anything they come grabbing for your plate. Had to bat away those folks clearing the tables, they where really trying to rush us through
