WE HAD MY GREAT GRANDSONS FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY ON THE PATIO AND EVERYONE WAS NICE.

Very friendly Legion with an amazing view, great patio right on the Grand River. Lots of area to spread out in the era of COVID-19.

Had a very amazing evening at tha Boat and Canoe club dancing to The 6 Pack band. Fantastic ladies that keep the crowd in it all evening.The dance floor was large and supported the crowd. Service was great and always friendly.

Inexpensive place to have a beer. Must be a member. If you or a parent were a member of the military you are in with a reasonably small joining fee. Older crowd typically but friendly.

Its a great place for the Ladies Auxiliary meetings! The bar always has drinks at great prices! Join the American Legion or become a member of the Ladies Auxiliary! Very rewarding to provide support to the veterans and teach our families patriotism! ️️

Very dated,but was nice to revisit where my wedding reception was held 40 years ago

It is more of a social club then bar. I love to visit here when I get the chance. However you do run into regular members that act holier then thou to you if you are not a member or visiting. I have experienced this very very few times. I still love to visit! Usually closes earlier then the posted hours on the weekends just to warn you.

Nice Atmosphere I enjoy it very much. All the people are very nice The people there are very social Im glad to belong to the sons of American Legion

Food was great and the beer was cold and reasonable. A friendly place with a scenic view of the Grand River. There are seasonal outdoor tables. They have a occasional band that varies in styles. The dance floor is usually ample for the attendance. Glad I joined.

Always a great place to stop. Last nite ladies auxiliary put on a dinner for veterans and family, thank you ever so much.

First off, you must be a legion member (also Auxiliary or S.A.L.) or the guest of a legionaire to be able to drink and eat here. The club is co-owned by three legion posts. We have many regular social activities including line dancing instruction in the ball room, roast beef dinners, and monthly dances with live bands like The Six Pack. One of the post owners is the Furniture City Post #258, the Navy- Marines Corps- Coast Guard post. The annual Fire Fighter of the Year Banquet and Award Ceremony is held at the Boat and Canoe Club.

This home of many Veterans and family was filled with kindness as DAR provided a dinner and insured everyone was provided for. It was a dinner for Vietnam Vets but all was welcome. We thank DAR for all they do. God Bless.

American Legions are always a great place to grab a drink and good conversation and this one is no different

The Grand Rapids Coin Club meets here every 4th Thursday of the month (except for Nov - its the 3rd Thur & Dec - no meeting). The facilities are always ready to go.

Always treated like family.

Hung up the phone on me while simply telling them who I was, then on second call they were VERY short with me. Quite rude, and unprofessional. You gotta be a member to rent their facility.
