Great recreation facility for everyone. You can book special events, get fit in their gym with a membership, and play in a volleyball tournament. Awesome trail that wraps around for jogging and walking your pets. Outdoor pool in the summer to cool off

Great recreation center for a very good price..,especially for a senior citizen

For this to be a fairly new library in Grand Prairie, it is very small and not ideal if you are looking for a place to study. I understand that its inside of a community center, but I feel that it should be big enough to accommodate the needs of those who visit. It is designed more to be more of a playroom kids to visit after school. About an hour before kids get out of schoolthe staff discourages people from coming to use the computers because they know that the kids will soon arrive and there wont be many available for the kids not other adults who are seeking to use Library services. When the kids do arrive, the library becomes loud and busy as the kids run about and engage in different activities. Not to say that this is a bad thing, because I love kids, but this isnt an ideal place to go if someone is Seeking a spot to study or use computers and other Library services and a, quiet environment. I feel that there should be a separate area for the children to meet up and engaging after school activities outside of the library space. Or maybe they should just invest in a larger facility on that side of town for Library services.

I am giving this a 5 star rating because of how awesome and helpful Tony was to us. Circumstances of safety arose that required me to keep my puppy with me. It was far too hot to leave her in the car and I needed to reserve a pavilion immediately. One gentleman (who was simply doing his job) was very blunt and refused to allow me to conduct business at the front desk with my 7lb dog in my arms. Tony volunteered immediately to allow my dog to sit on his lap out front while I completed my business. My dog warmed up to him right away and I was able to accomplish what I came for. Everyone else did their jobs without incident as well, but Tony sticks out to me because of the eagerness to serve others. We will be back because of Tony. Whomever reads this and works at the center ought to give him praise the next time they see him.

Great place for kids to interact with adults. So many things to do.

My favorite place to workout. The gym is only about 12 bucks a month. Everyone can afford that. They also have a basketball court and library. Great spot to walk or just hang out.

Pretty good gym for a rec center. Gets noisy in the evening with some of the kids playing basketball. Overall great value

The best recreation center, we have two seasons going to soccer and the coaches are great. We always use the Library, the guys there are amazing and really like children. My son loves to go there

Friendly staff, people and kids class with library. Gym exercise machines, sit rowing, leg curl, leg press, benches and smith more. Mondays to Saturday real good for me.

Great neighborhood resource for everyone to use. Library, youth programs, computer center, and recreation facilities. Well maintained and clean, good staff. Highly recommended.

I was here for a family function, they had rented one of the convention rooms. The building was nice and clean and so was the room that we used. The girl at the front desk was not the least bit friendly and did not smile at all, she should be replaced with someone who doesnt act like it was torture to be there or to help the guests.

I been a member for a couple of years and its been ok,recently they closed the gym for remodeling and thats good but they send you to a tiny gym on Dal Worth with harley any kind of equipment and then they add a xetra week because they cant finish in time.the gym has been getting dirty and sometimes the sanitizer paper is out but signs are in the gym to wipe down equipment when finished.the price is great and the people are good but overall its been declining sorry.

I attended an event here a couple of weeks ago. The facility was clean, the staff were AMAZING and the Supervisor, Mr. Hayes gave a great tour of the Center. They provide a lot of programs for the community.

Same as bowls life center, name had changed. Rooms to rent for parties, reunions etc.

My man and I signed up for the gym membership. The lady at the front desk was nice, but failed to say our children were not allowed in the gym area even with an adult with them that is not working out. The manager came up to me and said we needed to go outside. She then proceeded to stand next to my husband, stare at him like he was dumb, and put her hands on her hips. I asked are you gonna stand there until we leave. She said yes with the ugliest attitude and then repeated herself. I can understand if I was a teenager disrespecting her authority, but im a grown woman wanting to discuss something with my husband. Her approach and demeanor needs to be checked. And when I said something to her about it, she didnt apologize she just went on about the rules she had to enforce. She acted like she needed to feel in control, rude bxtch.

Worse experience ever the manager Mike Broussard at the Library department is rude and arrogant he do not know how to deal with kidsHe made my son cry this was the first time my son was in that place. And will be the last one.This is ridiculous it wont let me post this review until I give this place a star.

Bad experience at Trick or trail waited more than a hour in line for the haunted house and the staff where picking and choosing favorites to let them cut and go in a bunch of high schools kids and young kids were all cutting in line and no staff put a end to it until me and some other parents took it to manner and was left to us to tell them to go to the end of the line and when we finally got to the front the staff told us to go home that it was over never ever again the staff they have are a bunch of rude young unprofessional people every time we go the people in the front desk are rude
