I think its a cool place potentially especially for teens. Almost every arcade game is broken or out of tickets or jammed. The skate rink is pretty small. I never saw a person over 18 working the entire time. The kitchen is poorly ran... Again, its all children running the place. There is no person assigned to a specific work area. The skate floor is not supervised in any way. There were employees eating food on the skate rental desk but nobody to cook the paying customers food as we waited 20 minutes for the special to be told. That they dont have any pizza slices. The bathrooms were very dirty and no paper towels. I would give it one more star if there was organization or leadership but I saw none. All the employees were very friendly but not knowledgeable about anything but what to charge. I find this kind of disturbing and pretty much a rip off. They dont warn you before purchasing 20 dollars worth of coins that all the machines are broken and if you can find one that dont tske your money and win tickets, well the prizes are limited as well. This place needs a complete turnaround in management and maybe then it would be worthy of a good review.
Bad customer service and it took us an hour to get our basket of fries and the place is dirty, it looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years, and nobody is really working there, and no one at the front counter, have to wait like 20 mins. If they had good management and needs better employees who actually care for their job instead of sitting around on their phones, and actually care about doing their job, and doing a good job at it. But the skating is still fun.
Its a great place to go do multiple things. Skate, pool, arcade games, some climbing places for k8ds and even food. Its fun!!!!
I honestly dont know where to begin.Lets start at being positive because Ive got way too many negatives -Its got an indoor skating rink, a small bowling alley with 6 lanes, a food bar, and the Garlic Knot attached/front facing one side of the building. Theres a large play pen area for some kids, 5 bathrooms with one of those being a family restroom, theres a SpongeBob bouncy castle, and there is an arcade. Now, the indoor skating rink is basically completely abandoned by staff (Ive been to other rinks across the US and, sure, they all say skate at your own risk, but I think its not unreasonable to expect staff there), its honestly a pretty small rink so anyone learning to skate run the risk of being bowled over by other skaters let alone that inhibits folks who want to skate quickly, the music doesnt seem staffed and runs on its own with no one to help change up the skating or the music; the main floor is cracking and peeling up, with large black bumps on the floor (I assume to aid with slowing people down but even as someone used to working in manufacturing, these speed bumps are on weird inclines or in strange places), the walls around the rink are covered in ugly plaster patches due to what I assume is because of hockey being played at the rink (might I suggest a net?); the floors are dirty with scraps everywhere, theres several dead arcade machines pulled off to the side not even counting that there are several that dont work in the main area (there are several machines lacking prizes even!), the ATM/cash converter in the arcade area seems dead, one bathroom is not even labeled as such, theres literally one water fountain in the corner in the back, the windows are disgusting and really, everything requires cleaning/repainting; one of the bathrooms has a non-functional sink, theres no paper towels/hand dryers in the aforementioned bathroom, and it seems like all the bathrooms are in varying states of unique grossness - I really dont know where to end on this. This place needs some serious help.See photos for reference.
I remember when this place first opened, it was busy and clean and there were actually adults that worked the place. Now, it’s DIRTY, run down, the bathrooms are disgusting, a bunch of teens work here that don’t seem to care too much about their job or the customers.I have yet to see a responsible adult here. The floors are trashy, the seats are sticky, Garlic Knot is not that good.
Booked a birthday 10 days ago online for 300 to 430. everyone shows up at 3 to find out they dont even open until 4..really beyond mad kids are pretty devastated thank God for canyon view part being down the road
Held a birthday party here for a 4 year old girl. We reserved the spot over a month before but never received a confirmation. When we tried to call to confirm there was never any answer. When we showed up they had ran out of almost everything. Pink or purple table cloths, plates, pepperoni pizza, and silverware. The place is filthy, tables arent clean and trashes are full. The bathrooms are disgusting, but Ive never seen this place with clean bathrooms even immediately after opening. The teenagers havent been trained well enough for them to operate this place independently like they are. Its like lord of the flies. This place is in dire need for new management.
Im a skater. Without this place, Id die. Lol.Chris is the best. Hes a busy man and I feel he doesnt gey enough credit for all that he does. This place is a relaxed environment fore and my daughter, and a place Id be at everyday if I had my way. Thanks guys, for keeping it going for the kids, for all of us.Love you guys!!
I was disappointed that the whole facility feels so low quality and poorly kept. The bathrooms were unclean and poorly maintenanced: no towels, clogged sink, soap not installed to dispenser...The floors were generally uncleaned, both stained and un-vacuumed.The walls throughout the facility had holes in the plaster, or plain white plaster patches over numerous editions of holes; hockey night looks like it regularly slaughters the back walls of the rink.Almost no staff. No dj or supervision for the rink. No games or activities. No one working the door and had to wait to purchase our admission at the prize counter. The bounce option includes one small jump castle for young children.Positive things about the place:It has plenty of access and exits, it looks like a very fire safe facility. It is largely handicap accessible, even the skating rink has a handicap accessible ramp. There are four gendered bathrooms two for each of the binary and one unisex near the Garlic Knott entrance. There is a large indoor play structure for small children. The $5 skate packages are genuinely an economic deal if you just want to cruise in peace for a while.(See photos for references)
Hardly anything worked the games wouldnt give us our tickets. The kids that were working did an amazing job with what they had. The manager wouldnt come out of his office at all, until it came for us to leave. We were the only people in the whole place. Very disappointed
This place is dirty kinda run down, not very many games work, very few games give you tickets when you win, the roller skates and scooters are in rough shape and the prize counter had very few prizes. We will go to Bananas next time.
Needs a deep cleaning. And Maybe one person over the age of 18 in the staff when closing so that way the spills and messes get cleaned up. When we come in every Sunday morning it looks like Saturday night was an awesome party that no one got nominated or paid, to clean it up. And if Im forking out money, I know someone is getting paid. So the facility needs to at the very least appear like someone attempted to clean. I love this place, the potential is astronomical! Just needs a responsible person at closing. . . ?
Had a birthday party there on 3/7/2020. Service was terrible. We had a table reserved for 2:00 and when I showed up no one helped me until 2:30. Party host didnt really even host the party. He forgot napkins and it took 2 hours for our pizza to come out. We paid for the 90 minute party and our pizza order that came with the party package well exceeded our time limit. Service was slow and almost none existent. Not worth the $150 dollars. Not to mention there wasnt a single adult running the place so when we had complaints the kids running it had no idea what to do. Do not recommend.
Why are people not there on Saturday nights?? Come on, this place is amazing! its more fun when they are more people there to skate around. Im guessing its because Friday night is when all the teens go but we need to pick it up. Maybe have an 80s night on Saturday night? I would definitely be there every weekend!
Great staff. Sinks didnt work in the one bathroom I visited. Wasnt very busy which is good.
Super fun! if you have little kids week days are a must! Super affordable!
Went there last night (Saturday) night. I couldnt believe how filthy the entire establishment was. Id NEVER eat food prepared in the kitchens there. 2 out of the first 5 games we tried playing were broken or stole our coins. Then laser tag was an epic disaster. Only 5 vests were functional and 3 guns. Thankfully we got our $ back. Overall an extremely disappointing experience and Ill never go back.
Dont get any tokens. None of the games work. Even if theyre lit up theyll just take your coins. Everything dirty. Kids enjoyed jungle gym. What a waste of $. Could of gone to a different play place for cheaper. Staff was decent. Gave us our money back and thats the only reason theyre getting 2.
Visiting from LA and we have nothing as fun as this!! Skating rink, bowling, laser tag, arcade, cafe, jungle gym and party space. The prices are cheap. I paid $18 for my son and nephew to play laser tag for an unlimited session. They had a blast!! My 2 year old loved playing in the jungle gym which cost $6 for the whole day as well. My 10 month old could go in too but he wasnt that into it. What I loved most is that I came here 2 times and both times it wasnt crowded!!!
Decided to hold our sons birthday party here for the play options available. The party host was great and did an awesome job taking care of us. Unfortunately, most of the arcade games were not working, ate your tokens, or didnt shoot out your prize tickets. The pizza was just ok. Skating was good and the jungle city was really good. I thought the facility could have been a little cleaner, but catering kids parties all day may have been too much to keep up with. It wasnt super crowded and our party was a success.
It is really fun and you can request songs to play while skating prizes are out for the games most of the time but its great!
Had my daughters birthday party today. Laser tag party, $150 for an hour and a half party. 10 kids at laser tag and tokens, two pizzas, and two pitchers of soda with free refills. We didnt get our pizza and soda until after the party was supposed to be over, then the sodas were never refilled, the laser tag arena only had 6 vests and of those only three of the guns worked, also the attendants did not check on the laser tag so the new games werent being started for 20 minutes or so after the last game ended. 1/2 of the arcade games were broken.Honestly the only reason I gave two stars instead of one is that the manager did give a small discount to my total acknowledging that the service was not good, but it was still not even close to worth the money spent. Really seems like the owners do not care to maintain the equipment, the management is not giving good direction to the crew, and the crew is understaffed and undertrained.
No toilet paper or paper towels in the restroom that is filthy, we stood 20 min for a kid to finally take our order for fries, waited 45 min for the fries all the while other customers, my kids, and I watching one of the kids an employee here sneak a beer out of the pizza area down to the rink area, finally finding an adult in the kitchen kindly letting him know that 2 of the their employees being minors were Around the corner sharing a beer.... As we are now leaving 15 min later the beer incident still ignored.
Could be a nice place if it werent so dirty.Very very dirty. And never see any one cleaning up. If you want to sit down and dine. Good luck finding a clean table.
Super fun place and staff is great just wish it was cleaner. The bathrooms are always wrecked.
Spin city was good. We went to Garlic Knot for a fundraiser. The food was good, when they had some out. The staff seemed very overwhelmed. All you can eat turned out to be whatever they put out when they could and there was not near enough for the number of customers. The staff seemed to do the best they could. Definitely needs to be better planning by management to properly staff for these events. I was very disappointed and will recommend that OM little league find somewhere else for their next fundraiser
The place is not very well maintained. For bowling 1 out of 8 lanes works properly when we visit. In general it seems like a lot of maintenance is needed but nobody cares to do it.
Poor customer service. Out of most things at the snack bar. Not clean and staffed by teenagers that could care less about their jobs. Nickeled and dimes for everything as you now have to pay extra to help a young kid learn to skate. Will not be back!
If I could put a one star I would, all the kids working here are kids and teens and don’t do their job right. Half the games don’t work and this place is just messy and not organized
Almost always understaffed and their staff has never been polite or attentive. Skates weve rented have had HAIR in the tracks and wheels, helicopter wheels (wheels super ground on one side and unsafe to skate in), and the rink is always dirty. There are only ever three to five employees, and they are all always hanging out at the main counter chatting. The bowling alley is a joke, and the rental counter is never attended so plan on tracking someone down if you need to return or swap your skates. They play music with tons of profanity even with six year olds on the rink, and youre bound to hear the same track twice, if not more while youre there. The best part of the experience is Garlic Knot. Their snack bar is as expensive as expected but of course its not worth it, much like the admission fees here.
Place is rundown looks like there is no pride in the ownership of this business.
A rather large disappointment. Half the games were nonfunctional, half the bowling alley was nonoperational and the games that did work, would steal your coins. Staff was obviously overwhelmed. The rollerblades/skates were cheap and broken. Not a place I would want to take my children.
Games are never maintained, many times you loose money. They always seem to be unprepared for the weekend. This happens repeatedly. This time the roller rink had sticky substances all over it causing me to almost fall several times. This place is rapidly going downhill and I no longer want to come.
I booked a birthday party online. The website said I would receive an email confirmation (I never recieved it). I recieved one phone call several days later (I missed the call - they left a message and said to call back) I called back immediately but had to leave a message as nobody answered the line. I never got another return call. When I arrived today (3/7/2020) I was not greeted by staff. The person who I was waiting for blatantly ignored me (I later found out he was one of the 2 managers on duty). Our party host was very kind however he was in charge of all 3 parties that were there and obviously over run. We did not get the service that the website boasts. I ordered 3 extra pizzas in addition to what the party package included. I only got 2 of them because the other one was forgotten about. The website boasts a wonderful arcade with the opportunity to win great prizes. Most of the arcade was broken down and the machines that did work were not full with tickets. The selection of prizes was very limited as well.I spoke with the other manager on duty while I was there to voice my concerns. He did appologize (which I appreciated) and I was given a discount for the party. My overall opinion of Spin City in Grand Junction, CO is that management needs better training and leadership skills. There seemed to be a lack in communication and direction.I would not reccommend Spin City as a venue for a birthday party or any other event.I believe Spin City could be a really fantastic place to be if upper management (Owner) will make some major improvements and invest in some training of staff members.
Terrible service. Dangerous fire code violations. The first time i went up to order food, there were three employees who were engaged in discussion and they all completely ignored me. I waited for about three minutes before i left. Later, i went back to the food counter and made an order. the girl who took my order could not remember what flavor of icee about 5 seconds after i gave it (she did the same to the woman behind me). After paying over 9 dollars for 1 nachos and 2 drinks, she picked up her phone and started texting or surfing facebook or something. I had to tell her to get me my nachos. She got them for me then went back to her phone without getting the woman behind me her pretzel. Later, when my wife went to cash in 85 tickets for a prize for the kidsb however, their system is to weigh the tickets instead of counting them, and they said she only had 40... cheap. They also closed off the opening at the far end of the kids jungle gym, making it (imo) a serious fire code violation. If there was a fire, you would have to go all the way to the top of the maze, over the bridge and into the end to get your kids, then back through it all to get out. Next time i am bringing a box knife in case of emergency. The mens room only had one functioning sink, the paper towel and soap dispensers were either empty or out of order. This place has gone way downhill. They dont serve any coffee and they dont allow outside food or drink. Luckily there was only a bunch of 16 year olds barely running the place with no real management in sight, so we got away having coffee drinks from McDonalds.
I love the place its the only skating rink in town I pretty much grew up there the general manager has always been super nice to me everyone is just great I know a lot of people family friends work there that place is amazing I got to admit the prices are a little bit much but I still love the place for what its grown to be
Not enough staff. Went into Lazer tag with three guns not working. Had to search for the worker who was also covering skate rentals. Okay so when we finally got him we still had a gun that didn’t work. Not really fun for a competitive family of five. Bathrooms were filthy and when we wanted to bowl we had to wait in line AGAIN because only one employee was checking people out and setting up bowling. Super short staffed.
We had to grab our own skates because no one came to assist us. Came back three different times to order food because no one was up front to take orders and got ignored by all the people in the kitchen. And not a single table or chair was clean. The floors have spills all over the place. I feel like it has gone down hill. We used to like coming here. It’s also Monday night and not very busy. The food is taking forever! Doesn’t seem like they have enough help.
Trashy place, dirt an inch thick! Nearly all of their equipment is broken, management knows but does nothing. Long lines of people trying to get their money back. Bad experience for kids, waste of time for adults, never again!
No paper towels in bathroom, laser tag not working, bowling not working, half of the arcade games not working, snotty management “well bananas is just down the road.” Yep, it is. Definitely won’t be coming back here.
I was going to give this place 2 or 3 stars but...The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ellie in particular, made our visit special with her great customer service, so I’m giving 5 stars. The facilities like the play structure were a little dated and the bowling wasn’t functioning. They also did not have updated operating hours on their website and automated phone system, these made things pretty frustrating. The automated massage chair was awesome, but only one was working so my wife and I had to fight over it.
This place is aweful! Took my son here for his birthday to do the arcade. They sold me a bunch of tokens without telling me that 90% of the machines are broken. And the ones that arent wont give you tickets when you win. I complained and their response was we dont care . Ruined his whole day.
Had lots of fun but wouldve expected the place to cleaner... when I asked for a towel to clean a table I figured they would offer to clean it for me... but instead I was given a spray bottle and paper towels to clean up after another party.... there were crumbs and trash all over and you couldnt throw anything away in the over flowing trash can. The overall experience wasnt worth the 60bucks...
We did have fun but place just needs a little face-lift. Staff didnt seem extremely busy, yet bathrooms and floors in general were unattended.. We were there at open and it was already a Mess. This place has things nobody else has, which is wonderful! When there were issues, the staff was very accommodating. I say just a little reboot and spin city is still a great place for birthday parties or other get togethers!
This is so much fun! There are a variety of things to do including bowling and arcade games. Earlier in the day the rink is pretty empty so its a lot of fun then if thats an option for you. The DJ had excellent taste in music and it was cool that he would go roller skate when it was really slow. Neat experience and would definitely go again.
Had a great time with my wife roller skating! I had dropped my wallet after paying, and they returned it right back to me when they found it! We need to bring back the old school skating rinks like this. Such a lost art! Thank you for a great experience.
Although the place looked nice, half of the games at the arcade dont work, the food was plain and they messaged up my order and made me wait longer. Needs better management.
This place would be awesome with some minor adjustments. So many teenagers working with no adult management, at least that I could see. Everyone was just standing around when there was so much that could have been cleaned. Except for the poor guy at the ticket counter...he was running ragged and had now counter part to help him out. Its a little pricey to be reasonable for a family to have a day of fun. I do recognize they are doing different promotions which is awesome! But, the place should be cleaner for sure and have some better management of the teenage employees.
Very disappointed and disappointing. Drove 2 hours to visit a place I was told was fun for the family.. well no it wasnt. Over half of the games where broken and ate ya tokens. The other half was so badly maintained that they where fallen apart. The guys at the counter knew nothing and wanted to play with a alien. The one worker who was doing anything was the guy at the skate rink.. drove two hours and charged 25 each and nothing worked... wont return.
Cool place to hang out with your kids. I was just a little bummed out that some of the arcade games were not working and the ones that were did not reward you tickets when you won them. I spent tokens on one just to win tickets. It landed on 40, but I received none and I wasted money on that machine. However, the roller skating and laser tag was fun.
This place is filthy and broken! We arrived shortly after they opened and it was very obvious that the crew from the night before had not cleaned a single thing, nor did they stock anything. In fact, I wondered how long it had been since any cleaning or any type of maintenance had been done whatsoever! The womens bathroom had no hand soap in any of the dispensers. The floors in the arcade were so thick with old soda spills, that I almost had to abandon my shoe because it was stuck so badly to the floor! There was trash all over the place and many of the games were out of order (even though they had no signs to indicate that). In the dining area, there were napkin dispensers at the front counter and at each table and all but 3 of them were completely empty. The poor cashier took my order and couldnt even give me my $4 change, because the cash drawer had absolutely no ones in it. He apologized profusely and got a manager, who didnt even make eye contact with me or speak a single word. The only good thing about the place was that one young man at the cash register. At most places, the night crew closes up and cleans, stocks supplies, cashes out their drawer and sets the place up for a successful day the following day. It was painfully obvious that that didnt happen here and it seemed as if most of the employees could care less about their job or their customers. I didnt visit the bowling alley or skating rink, because by this point Id seen enough! I was extremely disappointed!
Reading all the other reviews I couldnt agree more. The place is disgusting, everything is dirty in the bathroom, no paper towels or toilet paper. The arcade is run down. Less than half the machines work. And as everyone else has stated even the ones that work take ur tokens and doesnt give tickets. We were planning on having a birthday party for my daughter here next weekend but will be cancel9ng and going somewhere else.Seems this place should have stayed dead since gj scores.
My first time, it was fun
This place is a joke. The arcade games are janky at best, most of them were out of order. It’s filthy dirty. There was one nice young man working that clearly could not handle it on his own. Don’t waste your money!!
Our visit to Spin City was a lot of fun. You can roller skate, play laser tag, bump n jump, climbing toys, or play video games. If the floors and bathrooms were cleaner they would get 5 stars. Maybe it was a really busy day since school was not in session.
Fairly cheap if you bring your own skates. The arcade is terribly mismanaged. 50 percent of the games(all the good ones) are perpetually broken. The food is reasonably priced.
I think it’s horrible that you don’t support speed skating at your venue!! I live in Denver and all the rinks here support us. It’s such a great sport that the entire family can do together. So many good family’s practiced there and paid for their time to use your facilities and cleaned your floor! You should be ashamed for treating good people like that!! Would not encourage any family to go there and waste their money!
Needs new management
The only roller rink for hundreds of miles. A decent place, the kids working there dont really care, but cant blame em ...
Alot of the video games are out of order and steal your tokens or dont have tickets inside
Where do I start! We got there decided to eat first it was nearly 1 by the time we got there. It took 30 minutes to get our food and my nachos not only had very little cheese but it was cold at that... Noise for our drinks. No change for the cashier to properly do his job. Which by the way he had very little to no training what so ever! Not his fault all this lies on the owners shoulders and they should be embarrassed to call this a successful business. Laser tag was not working. Half the arcade games either stole your tokens or did they work at all.. If I werent an honest person honestly me & my grandchildren could of skated & jungle gymed for free all day! Noone was checking for wristbands. And the prizes for the arcade games! What a joke... Penny candy rings and army men were the options everything else was drained or over 1000 tickets.. Shame in you Spin city I will never take my grandchildren there again..
What a joke! Half the arcade games don’t work. The other half that do either eat your tokens or don’t print tickets. Nearly 3/4 of the prizes are out of stock not that it matters because there ticket counter doesn’t work and they just guess how many you have. Between this and there terrible restaurant this place deserves no stars at all. What a joke I would not recommend to anyone for any reason!
No toilet paper in the bathrooms, floor by the kitchen hasn’t been mopped in a serious amount of time. Half of the arcade games are out of service. No pro active service what so ever. The kids that work there had to be told about everything. The one thing I guess is that the did service each issue as asked. Feel like I need a shower after leaving.
Not at all what I would expect. Bought coins for tickets, nearly none of the machines had tickets if you were able to play a game. The food and drinks are too expensive, along with bad service. They were out of certain basic things, like coke syrup. The pizza was sad and boring. Bowling was not an option. It was closed. Roller blading was alright but a bit pricy if you dont have your own skates. Only part that was good enough was the jungle gym for the toddlers. This place is not what it costs, let alone the disappointment on lack of service all around. Its shows the teens that work there dont really care to have their jobs.
I would not recommend this place at all. This building has gone down hill. Almost all of the arcade machines were out of order. It is not a clean place and the food wasnt worth the price.
Used to be a nice place for kids. Pretty run down now and never gets cleaned. They also got rid of some attractions
Has that almost-clean vibe, where it isnt dirty but it isnt clean. Nice skating rink, but everything else is half-managed. You have to request a laser tag game be run at the front desk, and the arcade games are sorta lame.
My kids like to go there on teen night. I hope they got their loose railing fixed. My daughter almost had a horrible accident trying to hang onto it with roller skates when it fell! Lawsuit waiting to happen. Fun place!
Good event center. And fun for the whole family.
This place is not very professional they do not pay there employees makes excuses about why. They also short the kids on hours they work ...gm manger is a lier also.. My sons been waiting for last check for 7 months...
It was very dirty!!! Inside and out!!!
Really expensive and ran by a bunch of young kids that wanted to talk and play on there phones we never did get waited on at the garlic knot we took all of our grandkids here definitely wont be back save your money
None of the games work! The tickets dont come out, its really not a fun place anymore
Use to be a good place to go but now they are understaffed and none of the attractions work. Bowling alley is out of commission and more than half the games where down.
Games are always broken. Bowling was even broken one of the last times we were there. Jungle gym for kids is good, a little pricey.
19 out of the 30 arcade games where broken and staff was so busy they had no time to fix the issue. The Bounce house was working and the kids still had fun, but adult beverages had to stay in a corralled spot that also made it difficult to watch children and enjoy a bowling game. The massage chair was a nice addition to the obstacle play area. The staff tried to accommodate when items where broken, but it took away from the experience when so many items where out of order. This is one of the only locations to have a birthday party and I would like to see an improvement in how things are operated.
This is a first time for me to come to this place. The place is run by teenagers who clearly have no clue what they are doing. Plus majority of the time they were on their phones or playing around. The place is sticky everywhere you go and gum everywhere. Ordered nachos and the staff clearly forgot to make them took them abt 20 mins to get a clue and make them. Prob won’t be coming back rather spend my money elsewhere.
Filthy and games were broken. At least they gave me a refund.
Do not spend money on the arcade here. Half the machines do not work and the other half eat the tokens and dont let you play.
Took kids here but, no one helped us as we tried looking for someone for 15 mins. We gone elsewhere.
This place is bad! half of the games where broken, missing buttons or are your tokens, the staff where never helpful when it came to the broken games also the prizes cost way to many tickets compared to other places we have been, heck more than half of the items you can buy for pennies on the internet. When you asked for help the workers just scattered like roaches. The workers also seamed very slow and sluggish, I asked for a cup of ranch and the guy just starred at me like I wasn’t there. If I owned this place I would fire everyone especially the mangers and start over with older staff that know what good work ethic and customer service is.i wish I would have read everyone’s reviews before I wasted my money and disappointed my kid at this poorly ran Establishment.
It was nice spending time with the grandson.
Staff blows fat chunks
Staff is poorly trained, 80% of the arcade games are broken and there is trash and leftover food everywhere. Save your money and skip it.
Great place for kids. So many that I dodged a few, fell and broke my arm on a slick and extremely hard floor.
We have not been to Spin City for a couple years and it has really declined. Over half of the games were not working or took our money. Then the ticket counter was broken so they were weighing tickets and then telling you how many you had. Well we had hit a 500 dollar jackpot and then my kids had each gotten 100 or so on several other games. The girl weighed our tickets and told me we had 441 tickets. I then told them roughly how many we had won and she was like, Well I will add this on and how about give you 800 because maybe the machine didnt give you 500. I told her that I watched it count down from 500 so whether or not it gave them to me we had won them. She then said ok so will 800 work. I nicely told her I would go count them while my kids skated. Finally she offered to count them, which should have been the first thinf offered in my opinion. After counting we had well over a thousand tickets. No apology was offered, just a oh thats crazy how different the number was. Probably will not be returning here again unless we are just skating.
Love taking my kids here! Lazer tag is so much fun and so is skating! My youngest loves the jungle city. Great staff, always friendly and professional every time we go there.
More than half of thier arcade games are broken, poor customer service. By far the worst arcade I have ever been too.
Xcel hit something and all the power went out and they had to close at two. Not their fault.
Hey, coming from a teen you should come here if you are also a teen on Fridays and hang out with friends. But to be honest it would be a little better if there was left conflict between the other teens but hey I cant change that. But I really like to hangout here
First off our birthday party wasn’t set up, the. They set it up right next to the skating rink so we got bumped into 100 times or more and kids falling on our seats, it took an hour for the pizza to come out, over 1/2 the games were out of order (unmarked just didn’t work) the workers were all on like slow motion without a care at all, the roller skating rink was crowded by kids riding scooters. Just a bad experience all the way around.
There is a reason they are not very busy. They charge an outrageous amount for everything, especially the jungle gym play area for kids. $6 a child for that alone. I can take my kids to McDonalds and let them play for free. The food is far overpriced for what you get at the garlic knot, and to top it off it took far too long to get our food and it was not because they had too many customers to deal with. The food was good but it isnt a 5 star restaurant, so they shouldnt charge 5 star prices. Most of the employees are kids, which they need to start somewhere, but there wasnt anyone in sight with some years under there belt to show them what good work ethic looks like. I seen plenty of things they could have been doing to stay busy but most of them were in their own little worlds. The place was a bit messy. Half of everything was closed or not working for various reasons. They had an atm but you guessed it it was out of order too. I doubt we will be going back. Your better off going to Bananas instead. I grew up in this town and I remember the days of the Rainbow roller rink and this place has a long way to go before they will ever even make it to a level to compare to the old roller rink.
Came here for my sisters birthday & the pizza was just horrible! We went back for my cousins birthday & will be the last time going there. We paid 100$ for 4 pizzas & it was gross. All the cheese & toppings where sliding off the thin dough. The only great thing about this place is their roller skating... the costumer service there sucks they all just stand and talk no manners at all. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to rehire or retrain your people. We where there on a Saturday & your place was completely dead. We where the only ones there. & that’s just to show you guys what a horrible business you have...
Excellent! Prices are very reasonable, theyre affordable for all! My family and I went at almost 7pm and the woman making food at that time on a Sunday night has excellent customer service! I very much enjoyed, as well as my little family, the pizza, it was fresh and very cheesy which is what my daughter and I absolutely love! Personally, Im very hesitant about eating at kids places like this or Chuck.E.Cheese, etc., but Im so glad I tried it because boy was it delicious! The other staff members were just as excellent, they were actually a lot younger though and honestly, I expected them to be like the typical teens wed dealt with in SLC, UT where they were snooty or arrogant, but it was the exact opposite. These teens, or at least looked as young as teens, were professional, helpful and had excellent customer service. Overall experience was excellent and we enjoyed ourselves very much!
This place is a ball of stress and dirty. It robs you of your coins, you never know if a game is going to work or not. Would be courteous if they could put an Out Of Order sign up. Some games wouldnt give any tickets...the ticket counting machine was out of order...I was sooo relieved to leave this place.
This score is for today. Ive been here before and have generally enjoyed my time. Today however, bowling was down, Lazer tag had issues with most of the vests (but you couldnt really check with staff on the issue because no one was there which also let to waiting 5-10 minutes between games for someone to actually show up and get things started), the food was burnt, and at that point we have up on throwing our money away on half working or over cooked products.
