Love visiting the free Miniatures Museum! There are so many displays and they seem to keep getting more. The attention to detail is incredible and fascinating. What a gem! Cant wait to bring my sister next time shes in town, she is a labor and delivery nurse, so I took pics of a display I thought would interest her.
So wonderful to see Holly and the staff of Midwest Miniatures. They are so proud of the Museum. They have the right to be so. The Museum is a treasure! A very special place to see the miniatures that are made with loving hands! Thank you for being there.
Nice little museum with miniature artisan houses, some very interesting displays of craftsmanship. Better hurry they are moving to grand haven
Miniature art masterpieces showcases that required skill and patience that collectively isnt found in some whole states.
Very nice if youre into miniature size everything. This is located in the Gilmore car museum grounds. If you pay to see the cars, you will already have the opportunity to see it.
A wonderful and intriguing place. The gentleman who was docent gave us a wonderful and informative tour, and was only to happy to answer questions. Highly recommended for fans of miniatures, arts and crafts, craftsman and history buffs.
Wonderful collection of all sorts of miniatures. Houses, automobiles, cutlery, etc. Free admission though donations are accepted.
This place is soooo cool. So much talent on display! And the guide was very knowledgeable about all of the very intricate displays!
My grand-daughter says So cutewe had a great time and everybody looked at their own interests! How did they get these collections so small? Wonderful ideas !!
This was fun. Young girls would really love this. Lots of tiny details.
I was privileged this week to take a tour through the museum with Ina.This is the finest display of miniatures I have seen anywhere. What a delightful place to visit for all ages. I recommend this to families with children or adults who enjoy reminiscing. Everything is done to perfection.
Excellent small collection. No charge to visit just donation. Great addition to a Gilmore Car Museum tour
Not usually one of my visit choices but thought Id check it out being its adjacent to the Gilmore Car Museum. If youre into that kind of thing then it would be a good visit.
Lots of different displays indoor and outdoor. You could spend several hours here and not see it all. 90 acre site, so plenty of walking, but picnic tables and benches are plentiful. Also wheelchairs are available
This museum includes dozens of historic, miniature rooms and houses that seem to be awaiting their occupants return. All are painstakingly created by artisans in 1:12 scale. The tables and chairs are made of the finest wood and covered with high quality fabrics. The place settings are real crystal, silver and hand-painted china. Some of the rooms have light fixtures that brighten the displays. If you love history or art, check out #DiscoveryMichigan tours and experiences! #ArtTour #HistoryTour
This tiny farmhouse is full of even tinier treasures! It is definitely worth a visit. There is a little something for everyone!
This was an unexpected treat while visiting the Gilmore Car Museum. The artistry and attention to detail is awesome.
