We had a great time at Freedom Fest. The airplanes were fun to watch and the jets were exciting. LOVED the semi with the jet engine. The fireworks show was one of the best Ive ever seen!! Most everything was about our service members as it should have been. Food and drinks were pricey but they always are at these kind of events. Ill definitely be going again next year.

The Airshow itself is OK, BUT trying to leave the place is a frustrating free for all with almost zero traffic guidance until you get to the gate. Let me explain, we are in line trying to get out onto the main strip of traffic that is heading toward the gate and a WORKER of the event runs up to his buddys car, talks to him, then proceeds to walk out in front of us, tells us to stop and let his buddy pull in front of us leaving us to have to wait for another chance to sneak through. Then he walks off ignoring an request from myself for his name as I wanted to report this problem. He walked past another 5 lanes of busy traffic didnt direct anyone, got on his little golf cart and drove back to where he came from. Also when we finally did get in line to leave a person cut us off and almost hit our vehicle because of zero traffic control. Watching the over priced food vendor trucks leave on the main road long before we can even leave the parking lot onto said road is extremely irritating. Some recommendations, skip the fireworks, get everyone out at a decent hour in the day light, have some type of lane / traffic control so people arent cutting each other off and possibly getting hit by cars getting to their cars. Also if the event ended earlier everyone wouldnt be tired and trying to get home. Also allow canopys at least, not sure why coolers arent allowed, maybe an alcohol thing? But canopys provide decent shade and you have several low lying areas where they can be put up, its sad to see VIP expensive tents get so much better treatment than people that just show up for a good family time. 3 years in a row and this will be my last time going.

Fantastic show with great food options. Bring hearing protection for the little ones, plenty of water, and sunscreen!

The best air show i,ve ever seen

There is lots for the kids to do and see. The fireworks were spectacular! Hopefully next year they can bring back some f-18 or f-22 raptor fighter jets.

Amazing experience for an airshow and fireworks! Not a bad seat in the house, plenty to eat, many port-a- potties, and attractions for kiddos.

The fireworks were flat awesome enjoyed the show. The three stars is for the really loud music. My ears hurt! Please!, Goshen airport turn the music down next year had a camping spot right by a speaker and it was unbelievably loud and annoying

It started late due to the rain, but the airshow and fireworks were worth the wait!

Awesome show awesome planes great food great fireworks show we love it. We love that this thing is back long overdue thank you.

A great place to spend time with friends and family. Im so glad they brought this event back after the recession.

Fun Freedom Fest every year.

We had a ton of fun. The show took a little bit to get going, but it was still worth while. I loved the 4 plane group with the boss. I think the boss did a separate show on his own and that was amazing! There were 2 Osprey planes there, one for the show and one you could walk around and in. All the guys were gawking over it. There were skydivers and a lady on top of a biplane. The Shockwave (semi-truck with 3 jet engines!) was really cool to watch.They had some down time and we walked around and looked at the airplanes. Everyone was very friendly. Then the night show began. Skydivers with flares, wing walking with lights, and our favorite was again the Shockwave. I was amazed at how much it lit the sky. The night ended with the best fireworks weve ever seen.Food lines were ok, getting in to park was pretty good considering the crowd. My only complaint was leaving the parking lot. It took us about 40 minutes just to leave the parking lot. It was only that short because we turned around and found a 2nd exit. I feel like they could have been better marked. There was a cop directing cars out of the parking lot, but somehow we werent moving going the one direction.We still had a ton of fun.
