Stayed just one night but really nice and clean park. Large and level sites. Friendly staff!! Wayne at gate was very welcoming and escorted us to our site. Highly recommended

Im not a rv park type, ideally Id be boondocking in the desert. However this place is really quite clean and nice. You can tell the management really cares about the business. Far enough from the highway that there isnt much noise.

This place and the staff are fantastic. Theyre a little more strict than other rv resorts Ive been to but they try to market themselves as a luxury resort so its understandable. The reason I cant give them 5 stars is because during our stay the power would go out frequently right in the middle of July and often half of the dryers in their laundry facility are down or dont dry properly. This is more of an owner issue. The staff are always friendly. When our power would go out one of the ladies would sit outside in the heat until late at night to turn the switch back on every time it flipped. Ive unknowingly broken the rules like working on my car and they were friendly and professional in letting me know it wasnt allowed. Highly recommend this place overall.

The manager in the office is stealing or giving herself a bonus from cash paying people. Something is not right and she has a very bad attitude. I hope she is the one who got fired. They order a sidewinder for me 24.00 on sale at Walmart is what they told me and I looked at me bank statement and they charge me 80.00. and they were paying for it when I was on the phone but the charge was at 7:30 at night. Nothing has come yet. If they dont straighten this out maybe my lawyer will have to contact them. Oh by the way my mother lives there and I and my son take care of things for her. Im in Nevada and dont like her calling three times about getting a sidewinder. What sidewinder is more important then the pandemic and being quarantine. Im a property manager and its people Ike her that give us bad names. Get ride of her!!! And cancel that order I want my money back.

It is NOT kid friendly. My daughter came to visit me and I watched her terminally ill son while she took his older brother swimming in the heated swimming pool which was very cold. One of the managers came and told her that kids were not allowed in the pool. She said I should read my contract which I did and I highlighted the section that said kids were not allowed without an adult. My daughter is 35 and her son that was with her is 9.We paid six months in advance. We were not given the spot we reserved. We had to leave early do to the fact that our grandson took a turn for the worst and we needed to be closer to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. We requested a refund and we were told no with absolutely no consideration. We asked for the name of the RV Park owner and both of the managers said the owners wanted to stay private and didn’t want anyone to know who they were. They told us to write an email to them and they would forward it to the owners. They were both very rude.They allowed loud party’s to go on until 11:30 at night.In the brochure it says that you can buy hi speed Internet from the office when I asked to purchase it the girls were totally unaware of it. The internet is pretty much nonexistent.We are consulting an attorney.Marsha Bees

CAUTION, PARK HAS POWER ISSUESStayed 1 night Fri 10th. Very hot in PHX that day, about 115. I could have stayed at a Thousand trails for free, but chose a quality park that woudl have solid 50A power. Destiny is very close to the IH10 so convienant. We arrived around 4PM and the power went out. A neighbor said it happens all the time in the summer. I ran generator for 45 min and they had it back on so tried again, but noticed both legs were not at 120V, Bad but i had to try.. it worked for about 45 min then the power failed again. They got it running and about 1 hr later i switched back to park power, but then voltage was even worse- one at 115 and the other at 105. I left a message on Saturday asking for a partial refund and they never gave me the courtesy of a return call.

This is one of the nicer RV parks in the area. It is well laid out, and actually looks like an RV park versus a manufactured home community. There are quite a few long-term guests and although a few of those sites could use some love most are neat & tidy. The managers and grounds team are pleasant and helpful. We did not interact with the after-hours team. I found the WiFi unusable. Verizon coverage is good. During our 3-month stay, I noted folks cutting through our site perhaps a dozen times. Thats a people issue of course, but something no RV-er should do. Some notes on getting here: From I-10 Eastbound take exit 123 Citrus Rd. From I-10 Westbound take exit 125 and follow the frontage road to Citrus Rd.

Everything about this park is amazing! We were VERY happy with the staff, the cleanliness, laundry facilities, the beautiful trees, our site, the pool area, the gym area (I didn’t use but very well kept), the perfect location and we had great neighbors which was a bonus!

We attempted to cancel our 3 day reservation (we gave them a 20 day notification )and were told it would be a 60$ cancellation fee. After contacting a manager they reduced the price to 25$ but would not totally remove the cancellation fee.I contacted my credit card company and discovered that my card was changed the full amount the day we made the reservation which was almost 30 days. That charge will start adding interest 30 days before you get to the park. Honorable RV parks will change your card at check in. This park runs your card and the interest it will accrue immediately.There was no mention or a cancellation fee when we made the reservation and under “park rules” no cancellation fee listed. Avoid this dishonorable park and look elsewhere!

Helpful- Kind- Enjoyable....Were staying a year - & hopefully more. Weve lived here a month & are so happy God led us here.Were full time RVers & by far the best location weve stayed to date.Destiny just redid their pool & spa & we cant wait to test it out! Its absolutely beautiful....Its a neat thing to feel like family in a place like an RV Resort... people looking out for one another etc.I absolutely give 5 .Gratitude starts in the heart. & those who appreciate much will see the goodness that is here.Those who complain & fault find ... theyll do it anywhere & everywhere.I believe in honest reviews- but when its ALL negative ... that simply cant be. I NEVER leave reviews - this is my first one on Google. But in this situation I couldnt resist.The receptionist was terribly-mannered. Called to ask for availability and other questions and was immediately cut off, saying they had no availability until April. While understandable, before we could ask another question the receptionist immediately hung up while mid-sentence without another word. Not how you make a good impression on a first-time caller.

Make CERTAIN you will be able to make your day of arrival! Make SURE your RV will not break down. PRAY you will not have a weather issue. DEMAND that your tow vehicle will not break down, ......because if it does, even with a WEEKS notice with my sudden repair needed, I was out $25 on a $49 one day stay. Never got clipped that bad in the 19 months on the road full time! Only stay here if you can predict the future with absolute accuracy.......

Stayed here for 5 nights on recent stay. Very nice experience. Office staff and security were very friendly and professional. Facilities and pool were great although limited use due to cold weather. Great to have an orange tree with fresh oranges right next to the camper. Very quiet at night and secure. Nice level pull through sites. All the residents encountered were very friendly. Good access to I-10 and the 303. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a best RV park in area as far as we are concern.. We are very happy to call this gem our winter home. Second year in row we had the best Valentines dinner. Management team great customer service in the office and all other workers, clean and safe!

This place is great, when everything is going as advertised. The pool lights have been broken for weeks, and we are kicked out at sunset rather than the 10pm we were promised in our contract. Today the pool is closed because its green and needs to be tended to. It has been cloudy and getting worse for at least a week. I hate to complain, and I otherwise really like it here. It is not ok that the pool situation is what it is. Disappointing and hopefully all gets fixed soon

Welcoming/kind/affordable/RESPECTFUL/clean- just a few words to describe living full time there for almost a year since moving here from out of state. Managers, Marc and Kat are amazing people who work hard to meet your needs by making a point to know you. They have encouraged me to participate in the fun activities they host since I was new. I have gotten to know cool, decent folks. Even the owners of the property made a point of introducing themselves. The laundry room is always clean. (kind of wish there was a coin machine or credit card usage for the machines for convenience). The gym is new/nice. This western motif resort is well maintained. Gated/security on property. They have a store & movie rentals. I call this more than an RV park, it is my home. Keep Destiny RV resort in Goodyear, Arizona in mind to call home even if its only for a weekend.

What a.waste of time. Management sucks.

I called and spoke to the manager Mark on April 1st 2019 and explained that I needed a spot and that I had three little dogs 11 and 12 years old along with a German Shepherd He stated that would not be a problem . I call back to finalize which lot and I am told that I can not have 4 dogs so now I have to find another long term rv place to stay and I have only short time left. I think that they need to get their rules straight and not change it for certain people. It is too bad as I was looking forward to staying there.

Such a great experience at this RV Resort. Clean, well maintained and up to date. Pool / Spa area felt like paradise. People staying there were very friendly. Pool was closed for no reason at all! Asked why and it was stated that “manager” said so. I would never come here for a vacation or leisure stay. Stupid rules and +70 stuck up attitude. Pool area smells like a sewer..... remnants of tropical storm!? It hasn’t got here yet. There are clouds and 5mph winds.... storm won’t get here until late tonight.

I have not stayed here, but had to send a package to friends staying there. He is there for medical reasons and I sent this UPS package 2 day air to make sure he got it in time for his appointment.. The office there REFUSED delivery so it was sent back to me. Now, one week later, I am sending it out again. Thankfully my friends have changed parks so they might just get this important information this time. The office knew they were staying there so just how hard is it to accept a package and let them know it was in the office?? Most RV parks will allow you to receive mail and packages during your stay. I know I will not be staying here when I get on the road.. Just got a response from Destiny RV stating I am a liar. Uhh, no... I do have receipts from UPS.. more reason not to deal with these people..

The managers are some of the best people I have ever met. This is the best RV Park in the area as far as I am concerned. We spent a year here moved for work. I only hope that we can find another home like destiny. Mark and Cat thanks for being the people you are. We miss you guys so much.

Destiny is a true RESORT . 5 star health club and shopping at the wonderful Resort General store.

Overall, very happy here!Spacious sites, clean well kept facilities, awesome pool n spa. Variety of equipment in workout area. Staff efficient, and for the most part friendly.Downfalls:Last few weeks water shut off at least once a week due to system leaks (fixed same day)Have not been able to access common room to use lending library.

Absolutely terrible customer service and never been treated more unprofessionally by a place of business. The camp site felt more like a prison than a camp site. Would not recommended to anyone

In my experience staying in RV resort about the state of Arizona I would have to say that Destiny RV resort is by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in recent years. The amenities were superb and staff was very friendly, I will most certainly be coming back soon.

We only stayed for 2 nights... very nice and very clean.Some of the nicest restrooms and air conditioned... Mark and his wife are very nice and helpful...We too ordered pizza and it was delivered... well be staying again.

We have lived here 8 months now, and we wouldnt pick another RV park! The people here are awesome! They care about their guests and work very hard to keep a clean friendly park with lots of activities! Mark and Kat are amazing people and great managers! We love that we can call this place home!

I was expecting a package friday july 19 didnt get it till Tuesday july 23 even after i called and told the front office i was expecting a package so they could give it to the security guard due to the fact that i get off of work after the office is closed . Seems my call was for nothing because according to them my package hadn’t arrived. So i picked up the package from the office personally on my lunch break and my boxed seemed to have been open and taped back, box was damaged and the contents were (as i presumed) BROKEN. Thank you so much ! (And im not referring to the security guards, their service is excellent, the problem is the management)

We have stayed here twice now due to proximity to family and have been very pleased. The staff is friendly and accommodating; our site was large enough for our 35 motorhome, tables, chairs, tow dolly and car; the bath houses are well maintained; the grounds are clean; the pool is clear and the perfect temperature; the laundry is affordable and the store had what we needed at reasonable prices. We will certainly stay here when in Goodyear again!

Destiny RV resort is very clean and quiet. Great customer service, I will go back.

So far a good spot to stay. Clean restrooms and a very nice pool & spa. The pool is saline so its almost like the ocean. There are many citrus trees so when the fruit is in season you can pick your own. $46/day with Good Sam.

Clean, well kept grounds. A bit much on security. Need a code to get in, spikes at exit to get out. They charge $45.45 WITH Good Sam discount + $5 deposit on a key thats necessary for EVERY door. Unfortunately they were to busy to offer me the key at my check in & there was nothing written in their many rules book. The site was just a little wider than my RV, really stuffed in. The pads were level & concrete. I only hooked up to electric but I did use my surge guard. Good thing as my breakers blew in early evening during highest usage period. Im on my way to a local RV place to see why my fridge & a wall socket no longer work! Weather here is wonderful.

Even though there is construction going on its been a great experience. They are making improvements that will only make it even more enjoyable. We came in with no reservation & they went out of their way to give us a great spot & make sure we had everything we need.

This place is nice, but there are three reasons why I wont ever stay here again. The first is that its near an airforce base, so theres incredibly loud jets flying over all day and night. The second is that they knew we had a 35 foot rv with a tow when we reserved it, but our space was too small when we got here. I had to park the car in the lot. The third is that there is a chicken farm right down the road, and when the wind is just right, it smells pretty bad. I am completely shocked that people are saying this is the best rv park in the Phoenix area. At least its safe, clean, and has a bit of greenery, which is a rarity around here. Seriously, guys, my rv is shaking right now from the noise of a plane overhead. Its nuts! Never again.

The park is very clean and the sites are good. To use the restroom/shower you have to put down a key deposit--and you cant leave before 8 am if you want your deposit back. It appears that most in the park are permanent residents, and the office is run accordingly. If you have business with the office, you have to arrive before 3 pm on Saturdays, or else you have to wait until 8 am Sunday, when MAYBE somebody will be there who can assist you, without guarantees. Shaded dog park was a plus in very hot Phoenix July weather. My biggest issue is that the office/management does not appear to make an effort to meet the needs of one-night visitors. Im sure they do better with permanent and long-term residents.

Best camping resort I have been to! Clean, great big sites, dog areas, love the trees and light post at each site! Well worth the money, and staff I have talked to is great!

Plenty of space for all my slideouts, also enjoyed the on site picnic tables and grills for the ease of camping. The Shade trees also make for a great addition in the summertime. Tip: ask for A premium site when available, worth the upgrade!

Staff was very accomodating and the resort had some really amazing ammenities. My wife and I enjoyed the convenience store most of all.

Loved playing at the Mini-Golf area with our friends. not the type of things you typically see at most RV Parks, this place was really First Class.

Nice place, nice trees/shade, and nice range of amenities at a decent price. Sites are wide enough to extend your awning on one side and slideout(s) on the other. This RV park is located West of Phoenix and about 25 miles S of Surprise.

We really enjoy this park. The lots are spacious, the park is clean and tidy, and its location just outside the metro area makes it convenient, but quiet.

We stayed at Destiny RV Resort on our tour of southwestern desert attractions. After staying two days in Flagstaff we had a easy drive to Goodyear and the resort. It is easy to find and was a step up in class from the Flagstaff KOA.Destiny is a modern park will all the features you would expect in a park of its price range. There is ample room between spaces, and many young trees that provide partial shade. As time passes the trees will provide a lot protection from Arizonas hot summer sun.The park is very clean, as are the common areas, such as showers, pool, and clubhouse. The showers were protected by locking cubicle doors, providing safety and privacy. I would like to see more parks go with thisThe office staff were minimally helpful, which is why it only 4 stars. They provided limited assistance, even forgetting to provide the shower/bathroom key at check-in. Staff we met on the grounds we far more helpful.The location allows short drives to the greater Phoenix area, including MLB spring training sites and preseason games. You could also use it as a base camp for exploring southern Arizonas attractions.Keep in mind that summer temperatures can be extremely hot, so I recommend spring and fall to avoid the heat. If you plan to visit make sure that your vehicles are in good condition. Its a big desert and getting help after a breakdown may mean a long wait time

We stayed here for one year. The front office staff was nice, and were very accommodating. We were less than pleased with the property managers. They were a bit uptight for our taste, but what really upset us was the way they spoke to us when they werent happy. We were told once Now I am going to have to chew your ass. Im sorry what? Unprofessional! That kind of stuff happened on more than one occasion. The main breaker tripped several times in the summer and the water lines busted several times during our stay which caused us to be without water ...however they were very quick to address these things, and defiantly put a large effort into trying to make everyones stay as physically comfortable as possible. There are a lot of activities they host in the winter months, and it is beautiful weather.

Best Resort in the valley. I had plenty of space to park my motor home along with a large super duty truck .

I highly recommend you find a different RV park. As a retired military family, we witnessed behaviors of the resort staff and management that are extremely unprofessional. This place is bad news.

We have stayed at different parks in the Goodyear area and this one is the best. Even though priced a little higher, it is worth the difference. Fruit trees throughout that you are welcome to pick from. Very friendly staff. Park wide activities. 24 hour security and entry controlled. Definitely on our list of parks we will return to.

We are snow birds and have been making our home at Destiny RV Resort for 7 years. It has all the amenities you could want; beautiful pool and hot tub, new and well equipped gym, pickle ball court and putting green, exceptionally clean and updated laundry and shower/bathroom facilities. It is the perfect sized resort, not too big or too small. Plenty of pull thrus and all sites are paved with beautiful trees throughout the resort including cactus, palm, bougainvillea, orange, grapefruit and lemon. The club house is busy with functions and dinners making it feel like you belong to one big family. The management is second to none, Mark and Kat are wonderful people; knowledgeable, dedicated, hard working and caring. When I made the reservation I asked if kids were allowed. I was told as long as they are well behaved, we love kids. Unfortunately, when we checked in the staff again felt it necessary to remind us of our parental responsibilities, which we felt to be rude and unwelcoming and gave us a bit of anxiety. The management is tough on kids, but all if the residents we encountered were lovely and quite friendly. Very clean and well maintained facilities, and affordable rates.

They do not allow children more than three days. RV’ing is for families. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of at a place that is not senior living.

I think this should be the highest rated RV park in town, the owners that run it are wonderful people. The appeal is that they are ao clean!!. They gave us a good rate on our stay and they have an excellent manager person that works for them. He was able to help us with everything so that we were able to get our RV home parked easily and we just cant have enjoyed our stay more. Thank you to the whole staff also for inviting us to the wonderful pool party, WE WILL BE BACK!!

I am an Original snow-bird at Destiny RV Resort. I think Its important to note that any review on here posted before 2016 the park was under a different owner and management group (not very good people) But The new management and owners who have been running the Resort the last year or so have done an absolute wonderful job upgrading the park and making improvements!.. To date In the past year I have noted that they have installed all brand new pickle ball courts, re-done shuffle ball courts, installed putt putt mini golf (a blast) and even installed a state of the art gym which Im sure would rival any fitness facility at any RV Resort in America it is very nice! Just wanted to say that there really has been some amazing things go on over at Destiny this past year and I personally can not wait to see what the future has in store for this wonderful place. My many Thanks to all the new staff for doing a great job.... -Jerry

Ive stayed at every rv location in the area, and this one is the best by far. Plenty of trees, dog walking areas, mini putt putt golf course, huge fittness center and great swimming pool. Oh yeah almost forgot about the awesome convenience store with those delicious snacks.

This place is miserable for families that has children, no kids allowed . So when did that change came in for a rate quote in middle of feb. 2018 and said 1 child and 2 adults we just don’t have space right now . Come back months later a lot of kids here and told only 72 hours then kids have to leave. Why isn’t that in your rule book. Or is it that just because you like the annual pay up front people and the under 55 crowd is not as welcomed . The 55 and over rv park is well marked right up the street maybe if u did that it would be less of a shock!!!

Had the most wonderful time during my stay at Destiny recently. They had the best amenities and the staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Great destination. Perfect location if you need to be close to the heart of phoenix but still be in a very safe private community.

Large sites, plenty of room for pets with 2 seperate dog areas, plenty of nice citrus trees, affordable rates, great health club free access with your stay. I will be back soon to most likely look into a longer visit next time.

Great park, paved roads, concrete pads, large sites and very quiet.

We stayed here in the summer of 2015 and had a fabulous time. I called today (September 2017) to make a reservation and the new policy is only 2 kids allowed per site. We have 3 children (2, 4, and 6) so apparently we can never stay at Destiny Phoenix West again. I have recommended this RV park to countless families, but will no longer do so. That is an absolutely ridiculous rule. Farewell to one of our favorite RV parks. Oh well.

I was starting to plan my family annual road trip, every year we leave from Temecula, CA and head for the east coast. We like to use Good Sam to help us find the best of the best as far as RV resorts, which lead us to “Destiny RV Resort.” I called them in advance after reading the comments about the children not being allowed to stay thereand found it was the farthest thing from the truth. (Can’t help but wonder if it’s coming from rival parks?) Anyways, I couldn’t be happier with my stay, all immenities were as advertised, 5*. We drove in without calling and got a space for the night. Clean, spacious, clean restrooms and showers. Very friendly and helpful. Ordered pizza and had delivered.

This location is perfect for my golf trips this time of year. I stay here year regularly because this place simply is the best resort RV location in the entire state. Whether catching a Cardinals game or maybe of 18 holes of Golf, and on-site ammenities unlike any park I’ve ever seen .. (Huge Fittness Center, Sports Courts Pickleball, Mini Golf, 3 Dog walking areas, food/drink stocked Convenience Store, Free Wifi, ETC.)

I love Destiny! Thanks to yall for heping us get set up at our site and showing us around the Resort. Me and the kids loved the swimming pool. And my husband spent his evenings in that amazing fittness center.

Could not possibly be happier with our experience here. We stayed for about a month and the staff was amazing, the sites are large and VERY well maintained, the pool/spa area was immaculate and all other facilities were perfect. I really cant say enough good things about this park. Kat in her Katillac and the rest of the crew made sure we had everything we needed and really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Destiny has spoiled us, we WILL be back!
