The staff is incredible! Best RV park we’ve stayed at. We came into town for a family emergency and they got us right in no questions asked. We initially thought it was only going to be a few days but turned out to be 2 weeks in total. Ever 3-4 days we would wander into the office exhausted from the day and request a few more days. Sue was so accommodating and truly caring after she found out about the death in our family. We felt like family! Highly highly recommend and will come back anytime we travel to that area!
Grand Ole RV Resort came highly recommended and with good cause by people who RV full time! (Thanks KYD) We stayed this past weekend 9/25 & 9/26/20 for our maiden voyage/shake-down trip and loved every minute of it. Tammy & Jim were amazingly helpful; escorting us to our spacious, gravel and fairly level camp site, as well as accommodating our request to be parked next to our friends. We were in the new section which is close to the road and theres a train that runs along one side, but doesnt honk as it goes past since the train trestle is up above the road traffic. None of the road or train noise bothered my husband and I. The store is delightful with helpful folks if you are looking for something specific. (Oh, yes! Can you say souvenirs?!) Live music on the back porch was really good. Church service on Sunday morning was nice, and casual, too. We will gladly stay here time and time, again! Wonderful RV park with the sweetest people running it!
Wonderful family-owned RVP north of Nashville. Quiet, out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but close to ANY thing you need or want with EZ access off the interstate. NIGHTLY free music by local groups, DAILY hot breakfast and supper available in the office. Clean laundry and small store with camping supplies. Make THHIS park your Nashville RVP when visiting Music City.
So It was for an over nite... called 3 hours before getting there and was told that they would have a spot. GREAT! Got checked right in, someone led us to our spot. Nice and level and hook-ups were right where they are supposed to be. NO Problems there. Tried the WiFi. about a million times. called the office... they ensured that it was up and working. Maybe in some other parallel universe it was but after an hour of trying, I just did what I needed to do off the hot spot on my phone. . very frustrating. Spaces are tight. but well maintained. Lots of pull thru spaces.Didnt take advantage of the dinner but it was offered. Convenient location just off I-65. Does have train noise if that bothers you.
Not family friendly at all. Better for older couples. The staff some were very friendly others where rude. Train is loud. They have children an it seems very family friendly but it is not. They actually seemed to be bothered by kids well some of the staff not all. I gave it one star because it was affordable and the bands and food are pretty cool but they need to advertise that they want older people or couples and not families if the people working there are bothered by them.
From arriving to leaving everyone was so kind here! You check in and they take you to your site and help you back in. There’s home cooked meals for dinner and breakfast. Live music! You truly do feel like family here. It’s a short drive to broadway (~15 min) and right off the freeway. It does look packed when you pull in, but you never felt it. Sites were roomy and I felt private. We will definitely be back here!
This RV resort was great. Very clean, bathrooms were spotless and the service and people who ran the place were very attentive and polite. Being from Miami the staff was awesome! The live band was great and the home cooked meals were fantastic!
We selected this RV park after reading the reviews of other travelers even though, visually, it looked a little cramped. As we pulled in, one of the owners met us in his golf cart and escorted us to our space, all smiles and welcoming. There was live music and the whole property is kept immaculately by the family. I would definitely recommend. The only draw back was that it is a good 15 minute drive to Broadway St in Nashville.
This was our 2nd time staying here. The owners are awesome. The store is great. They have good meals everyday. Music nightly. Campground is very well maintained. Dog friendly. We will be staying here again
We really enjoyed this campground. We are staying in Nashville for a week and decided to come a day earlier. The campground that I am staying a week at could not accommodate us for the extra day so I call Grand Ole RV Resort. They were very accommodating and the kindest people ever!!! We enjoyed the nightly music and food too! I wish I could have stayed here the entire time but would have lost to much money canceling the other place. We will definitely come back!
Drove in from Colorado on a whim and stayed here for 3 weeks. Never been to the Nashville area but we certainly had an amazing time. Grand Ole RV was super awesome! Solid internet (as I had to work each day), good level sites and loved the live music every night. As some had mentioned in other reviews, the train can get a bit much but after a while you just tend to ignore it. We would definitely go back next time in town.
Arrived really late with no reservation. Didn’t realize the park would be so full. We called the contact number and were immediately called back. The lady was super nice and told us they were unfortunately full but so we would t have to drive around looking for another place we could just park our RV in the parking lot until morning when she could help us figure something out. While we appreciated that gesture, we felt awkward being in the middle of the parking lot as it was super busy. We opted to go elsewhere, but wanted to thank the owner for being so kind.
I camp a lot and never write reviews, but in this case I felt like I was bait and switched, the pics it looked nice and spacious, but nope campers are cramed in like sardines. And it is in-between a busy road and a freight train track. If you are a heavy sleeper that wants to save money, but for me I was not happy and would not stay again too noisy and cramped.....
This RV park is reasonable and the staff is super. Cute little restaurant with good breakfasts. One suggestion is the need for trash cans through the park. One spot in the entire park to take trash is kind of a pain, especially if you have dogs.
They say youll leave as family, and they mean it!!!!! A staff that is incredibly friendly and humorous. Restaurant serves great food and the market has a very nice selection! Need your camper backed in? Tommy is the man to see!!!! And ask for Keith, hes mighty proud of his potatoes!!!! See yall again very soon.
Very nice place, very clean and owners are very hospitable. They have live music and home cooked meals nightly along with breakfast. It is more of a stay over for a night place as the sites are very close together and crowded together but if we were in the area again we would definitely stay here again
Freight trains are loud and annoying..but staff nice and kind. Lots are very small and on top of one another. So good place for over night stay or short weekend. Not somewhere i could stay for more than that. Live music every night gives u 3 stars otherwise it would be a 2 or worse.
The train wasnt bad. The staff are awesome. The food is some of the best I have had.The only thing I didnt like is you cant tie your dog up outside while you are out there. I have a husky and he loves to people watch. They said the leash has to be in your hand at all times. This is the first camp ground I have ever had this issue. There is a creek right behind grounds thats good to let your dog wade in it. Music every night was good. Tammy went out of her way to help us. She was wonderful.
Very clean and friendly place to set up. We were just passing through on our way home. Excellent price
We stayed here two night RV park was clean, friendly, live music both nights by play ground was nice to sit in chairs and let kids play, they have little dinner there we ate dinner first night good home cooked meal!! There is train that comes through but we where not close didnt bother us at all!! We will suggest this places and if ever in area again stay at it again!!
It is a nice park and the staff is nice and helpful but the road noise and the train are terrible. The noise is so bad you cant even enjoy sitting outside. Nashville is a rail hub so trains come by many, many times day and night. The whole park is gravel and messy when it rains. We will never stay here again.
Very friendly! Nice campground and went above and beyond by moving our site so we didn’t have to unhook as we were only staying the night. We ate at the restaurant and food was good. Great live music was the highlight.
Had a wonderful week here. Good music. Didnt miss not being able to go to the bars in Nashville even though they were open. Hated to leave. The place is so nice and quiet and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back.
Stayed here last fall. Very unique place. Live music many nights, very friendly staff, about as central as you can camp if you are visiting Nashville.Sites are crowded and there is a freight train that passes in the night, waking up up in our terribly insulated RV. Ideal sites would be away from the road and away from the train tracks at the rear of the property.Still, the music, open areas, location, friendliness and ice cream far far far outweigh the negatives. We would absolutely stay here again.
Spacious shaded campsites. Live entertainment. Church services on site on Sundays. Serve breakfast and supper at a cost if you dont feel like cooking.
From the moment we started emailing with Sue and her amazing patience with us to our arrival and being checked in early and given options of sites, to her brother assisting us in backing in to the cleanliness of the campground and the breakfast, lunch and dinner offered and the live music... this was an RV Resort for the books. We LOVED it there and are already planning our return in the near future if we have our way! Absolutely amazing. Cant say enough good about this campground! We stayed at site 77 and it was quite accommodating. Obviously, as others have posted, you can certainly hear the train in this area, BUT, unless you leave your windows open and hate white noise, its not really that bad. They do NOT use their horns.Overall, our experience was amazing. We even had a wonderful southern gal come over to us and help us start setting up (after asking first lol) due to the black clouds looming and of course, it began to pour... all of us got soaked and in the end we found out it was Jessie-Lynn, a country music singer who also performs now and then at the resort. We LOVED it here and its a quick 20 minute drive to downtown Nashville! perfect.
The good:We stayed here for a week after running from Hurricane Sally. Were fortunate enough they had a spot for that long on the same day we were traveling. The people are great. Truly they are. They ride around checking on guests, and probably looking for troublemakers, either way it is appreciated. The location is very convenient. It is a short drive to Downtown Nashville. Just a few minutes to Opry Mills. Close enough for Door Dash deliveries, if you are into that kind of thing. You can also get several stations over the air. They have no cable. They take very good care of the property and grass. The grass looked so good I asked if it was ok to put our gas grill and fire pit on it.They do have a couple washers and dryers, air pump, propane tank refill capabilities and WiFi.It is very well priced. Mid thirties per night and stay 6 nights get the 7th free. Hard to beat. They have a better than average store with supplies for your camper.Theyll even cook for you if you want. We never did.The bad:The noise from the road and train. Understand our site was on the middle level of the campground. We were between the 4 lane, heavily trafficked road and the train tracks. Ive lived by main roads before. I can tune that stuff out pretty well. Those trains though... These arent slow moving tourist trains. These are freight train with some place to be and many of them are in a hurry to get there. The noise at our site when one came by would stop all conversation and if we were watching a movie then wed pause it. My daughter thought I was exaggerating until she stayed one night. Dad, this is a horrible site. If we had anywhere else to go then we wouldve. Maybe a site on the main part, away from the tracks might not be bad. Maybe. But at ours, the sound was terrible. Our neighbor said they hardly noticed. Maybe you can do the same. You were warned. The wifi. My phone never liked connecting to it. Most days it wouldnt. It would see it, then get an authentication error and disconnect. Our Roku faired better, especially after lowering the quality of video. It worked most of the time, but it wasnt 100%. The number of campers at the campground didnt seem to matter. It was there or it wasnt for no obvious reasons. I mentioned it to the nice man at the desk and he suggested it was too many people trying to stream. That didnt really hold up but he couldve been tired of hearing about it.All in all, they are very nice people trying to run a nice campground. The WiFi was annoying but not a deal breaker. The noise from the trains was a deal breaker for us.We were glad they were there when we needed a place but we wouldnt plan to return.
Great experience here. Called ahead to ask about dumping our camper and Sue was kind and helpful. This was our first time doing this, and when we showed up everyone was very happy to offer advice and show us what to do.
Not a horrible campground if you like camping in a parking lot of RVs. The sites were tiny and packed in on top of your neighbor. Our son called it a mosh pit of campers. The staff were really friendly though.
Very nice rv park. Clean and quiet. Level and large shaded sites. Out of town but close to anything you may want or need. Super friendly owners and staff and very accomodating. Definitely reccomend staying here when in the area.
We visited in July 2020 as Covid cases were rising and masks were recommended everywhere and yet none of the employees were wearing masks which made us feel very unsafe especially when they came close to our truck window and we had nowhere to go. Internet service was also horrible. For a park that size I was very unimpressed.
Yes, there are trains running at all hours directly behind this park! After 2-3 days of hearing it, it becomes part of the experience. You don’t even hear it anymore . Other than the train disturbances, it’s a pretty nice park. I actually enjoyed my week stay there.
The park and staff were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend staying here to all my friends.
I drove through the park to check it out for a possible future stay. Sites are all well maintained gravel drives with a picnic table on grass - no patios. The sites are close together and many are laid out so that one site is immediately behind another site. The roads through the park are all gravel and are spacious enough to maneuver a large 45 bus or fifth wheel. Sites are level. There are only a few shade trees so most sites are exposed to the sun.
Excellent place to stay. Nicest people, live music and food was wonderful!!
Stayed there the weekend of 1/3/2020. Really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely go back again. The dinner on Saturday night was delicious, country fried steak, best Ive ever had, mashed potatoes, corn and a roll and very reasonably priced. The live music was awesome as well. Had breakfast on Sunday morning and was blessed with a worship service while we ate. Some of the reviews spoke of the train, although its a busy track, we didnt find it to be disturbing. Staff is exceptional and very friendly!
Spent almost 3 full weeks here. Nice level sites. Easy ride downtown. Wonderful staff. Nightly entertainment and dinner. Highly recommend
My family and I came in for a brief two night stay for business in the area and found this great family friendly RV Resort.Rates and site were beyond exceptional!Everyone was exceptionally friendly!Bathrooms and showers were very clean! In a popup the distraction of the highway and train that came by every 30 minutes or so morning and evening... was difficult but apart from that we had a great visit. (Out of the RV resorts control)My wife was excited and surprised to see YouTube RV Sensations Mark and Trish with Keeping Your Daydream staying here while I was out on a job site.Overall a great stay!Lord bless!!Ryan M. from Woodstock, GA
A true sample of excellent southern hospitality.Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff & the front desk clerk. After checking in, one of the staff members drove us to our camp site & help us get our sewer & power hooked up.Besides the friendliness of all staff members, the location is Incredible. It is only 11 miles away from Nashville, where we have been already 3 times & is close to interstates, stores, restaurants & major tourist venues. In addition to that, the campground is open year round, has great rates, it is pet friendly & the Wifi works GREAT.All respect for the general manager & all members of this family owned & operated RV Resort who do a great job a making campers feel at Home.
We stayed here for 9 nights in October 2019. Great atmosphere, great camp hosts. All of the staff were extremely friendly and neighborly. Bailey and Sue, at the front desk, were always very helpful. Tommy Sr. and Tommy Jr. (Owners) are also very helpful. This is a family owned and operated business. Grand Ole RV has a very reasonably priced breakfast and evening meal every day. There is also a well stocked RV Marketplace for necessities. They have musical entertainment most evenings, great entertainment. Trains can be a little loud at times, but really wasn’t a problem.July 2020We have stayed here a few times. We have another reservation for October 2020.Tommy Sr., Tommy Jr., and Sue are very nice owners. They escort you to your site. The sites are nice and have lots of space. The sites are level. They make supper every evening, and breakfast every morning for a small fee. They have free live music almost every evening. Bathrooms and showers are exceptional. Very clean.
Grand Ole RV Resort is a place that we would come back to stay. We called to book a spot for the night while on our way to West Virginia. I forgot who we talked to and booked our one night stay (mid July 2019). Pricing was very reasonable. They called us the day that we were scheduled to stay to make sure we had no issues finding them. When we pulled in, it was raining. We checked in and was told that our spot was a pull thru very close to the park exit. They even had someone show us exactly where to go. Every night, they have a dinner special (chicken fried steak was that night) and also live music. We parked our truck and 5th wheel for the night. Had a hot meal, cold tea and wonderful musical entertainment. I have seen post about others not happy with some things like price... I can tell you this, we were VERY pleased with the price. We hope to be able to come back for a longer stay. The hospitality was outstanding and friendly. I could rattle on and on.
Not the fanciest place around, but perfect if you just need to stop and rest for a few days. The owners take very good care of the grounds. Very nice and clean showers and bathroom facilities. I dont know why people complain of the trains. They do come through regularly, but they do not keep horns and are gone within 30 seconds. Most of the sites are plenty large enough, so you are not on top of the guy next to you. The on site food was great. Music nightly. And the price was half of what the surrounding campgrounds were asking. I highly recommend this place
We were concerned at first about the close proximity to a railroad, but it was not an issue AT ALL. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The evening meal availability and live music were nice perks. Would definitely stay again!
The Cunningham Family (Tommy Sr. & Jr. TAMMY and SUE) and all of the staff go above and beyond expectations. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this campground, in fact we stayed an additional couple of days because of the warmth and friendliness. Believe me, it had nothing to do with the frigid weather.Thank heavens the had available propane on site. The entertainment, proximity to 5 star golf courses; a walking park; and ease to Nashville was excellent. I even got a chance to help out with some of the chores:) The motto come in and guests and leave as family could never be more true. Thank You! We will be back
Very clean nice place to stay. Super nice and affordable. Close enough to get a reasonable uber to downtown Nashville . Thanks again
What a gem. Great location to Nashville. The grounds are well kept and super clean. Staff is so helpful and friendly. Great little activities for the community. Well priced. Its a 5 star but went with 4 because of no pool.
This was our first rv trip. Every one who works here couldnt been nicer and more accommodating. Would definitely recommend this park. Look forward to coming back here.
I would love to be able to recommend this campground, based on the friendly people who own and run it, and the fact that it is so close to Nashville. I just cant in good conscience do it. We stayed here based on reviews, and we were upset at the fact that a lot of things arent as portrayed. For starters, there is a train. Granted, not within the owners control, however it should be mentioned. Its VERY close to the campground, and it runs ALL night hauling coal. They dont blow the whistle...this doesnt make it any quieter. The other side of the campground has the interstate right next to it, so not much quieter there. The spaces are fairly level, however they are VERY close together, crammed in would not be an exaggeration. Our spot was right next to the common lawn area, so there were people constantly walking through very close to our camper, and they would walk between our vehicle and our camper to get to the store. The common lawn area has a small swing set and small plastic play cube, as far as I can tell this is the only area for kids. However, this is also the area that everyone walks their dogs. Most dog owners are considerate and pick up the waste, but you know there is always some left behind, and there were a few who didnt bother picking up, especially early in the morning or later at night. I wouldnt have let my kids play on the grass near the swing set. Most people had smaller dogs, however one gentleman had two very large dobermans that he walked at night. Again, I understand that this is beyond the owners control, however, having a separate dog area would take care of both of those issues I have mentioned. The store has very basic supplies, bottles of soda/water, a few camping/camper related items, but is not a grocery type store, there are no perishables available. Again, I totally understand why this might not be possible, they might not sell enough to justify carrying those things, but I feel it should be mentioned. The park is full, with a waiting list, so apparently a lot of these issues dont bother folks, but I feel like the issues need to be out there for people who actually check out the reviews.
We found this RV park while visiting our daughter and have not stayed anywhere else since! The personnel are very nice and really helpful. One young gentleman was assigned to meet us upon our late arrival. He not only checked in with us as we got closer, but he helped my husband get situated on our site and waited to see if we needed any help. The live music is also an added bonus! Highly recommend this RV Resort!
Rv park is next to busy train track with trains running day and night, very noisy! Rv park is in a flood zone. Some spots are spacious, others are ridiculous.
We were passing through on a road trip. We turned up on the day with no reservation and they squeezed us in no bother. We asked if they could arrange some cold beers to be left at our van after we got back from a night out in Nashville and when we turned up there it was. A cooler box full. The lady stayed after hours to arrange this. Going above and beyond like that was great. Would definitely call in again if I was over this way. Great camp guys.
Very friendly park, Nice Neighbors & Excellent Staff! We loved our stay here! They serve breakfast & dinner in the office, and go above and beyond for your needs! Definitely will return if in the area agian.
My wife and I just got back from a last minute get away for our anniversary and had the pleasure of staying here. Neither of us had been to Nashville and werent really sure what to expect but the staff here pointed us in all the right directions. We have hauled our camper to a lot of campgrounds in a lot of places but this is the cleanest and best kept I have ever seen. The little cafe has great food for a reasonable price and the general store has most of the things you could need plus so much more. We will absolutely be back. Wouldve given it 5 stars but it was hot and there wasnt a pool. The live music was awesome and it is very peaceful all the way around.
Amazing owners and facilities. Not so much to do for kids. Great food at the resteraunt. Entertainment every night. Cant say enough for this place. Extended our stay twice.
Decent RV park. Facility was clean and the staff was nice. Only drawbacks was that it was crowded and the train that passes by.
The only negative thing I have to say about this RV park is that its right next to the train tracks. Other than that this place is awesome! So many activities and the park/grounds have been really well kept. Bathrooms/showers looked nice (didnt use the showers, as we were only there for one night, but they were clean and in good shape). Would absolutely stay here again!
I had to post this because of Jan Clarks comment. She gives a bad review that makes me wonder if she is a princess that wants everything prefect and is above everyone. She also is confused about a few things in her review, one is the interstate is not next to the campground. Just Look at Google map. Let me say this, the family are the greatest caring people Ive ever met. They have the best prices around. I could tell you about alot of great things on the campground, but heres one of many, I saw and took this picture of Tommy sr and Tommy jr helping a camper getting his lights working. For free where can you go that a owner is willing to do this? That alone makes this campground perfect for me. I saw Jan gave one park a bad review because of Mosquitoes. ROFLMAO To Jan I suggest you go book at some fancy hotel, CAMPING is called camping for a reason.
Paid $35 a night for 5 nights. No discount memberships accepted. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). We arrived without a reservation and they got us right in.It was wet and rainy a couple days while we stayed and the ground around the site got muddy and was under water for a couple days. The road and sites are gravel, but the rest is grass and dirt. We stayed in site 52 and it was level.Everyone in the office was very helpful. We needed propane after a few very cold nights and they were very quick to help. Its a quick 20-25 minute drive to downtown Nashville from the park. Convenient access right off the freeway.Docking a star for a few minor reasons:The internet was pretty slow and not very reliable. The train was loud and scary. We never got used to it. Trains are all over in Nashville so you will likely always hear the train even in the distance. But this train track is literally right next to the RV park and elevated up 25 feet up a small hill. We never got used to the loud rumble as the train approached and whizzed past.It was a little cramped with a 42ft 5th wheel and close-ish to our neighbors but not close enough we could touch them like other parks weve stayed at.The nearby area doesnt have much to offer. You have to drive 15 minutes through very busy roads to get to Kroger or other stores/restaurants.
Easy to find off of 65. Very clean friendly helpful. Heard the train but didnt bother us.Only stayed one night, traveling. Will definitely come back when going to tour Nashville.
The staff was the best I’ve ever encountered. As a novice and 2 sisters traveling together, he even backed my small trailer in and made sure it was level for me. Stay in one site 2 nights then had to move. He even moved me the second time. His sister also helped. Everyone was so helpful here and friendly. No cable tv and the internet was not good. Bathrooms were very clean big and air conditioned. Good location for going downtown Nashville.
The park was amazing! The entire park was clean! The showers were hot! The staff was all friendly and knowledgeable about campers and rvs. They helped us back in and offered to help set us up at almost 9 pm. The store had some basic camping supplies with some drinks, snacks, souvenirs. Our spot was near the road so we didnt hear the train at all and the road noise was minimal as well. We enjoyed our stay.
The good - This place is by far the least expensive in the area. The water pressure is good. Electricity is good. They have live music every night for free. If you dont feel like cooking you can purchase breakfast or dinner in the office/market. Our site was fairly level. The people are friendly and accommodating. The bad - Because its the most reasonably priced, they are full to the gills most of the time. Honestly, they have leveled and graveled every available piece of ground for RV parking. Make reservations in the morning if you plan to stay in the evening. We have a 40 ft 5th wheel, which I told them when I made the reservation. They wanted to parallel park us between two rigs with vehicles in front and behind. Fortunately, there was a pull-through available and they put us there instead. There are trains that go very near the back side of the property. While they dont blow their horns, they do rumble loudly and rapidly through. We werent along the back of the property so the trains didnt really bother us but Im sure they would have if wed been closer to the tracks.
The staff here is wonderful! Very friendly and helpful people, they offer music almost every night live out on the porch. They also have a dinner menu each week and offer breakfast in the cafe. The store has a good variety of items you would need while visiting and they are reasonably priced. There is very little activities for the kids, they have a small swingset, no swimming pool. Location is great, rates are reasonable, we will be returning to visit!
We stayed here for 2 nights. Great place, great people, especially Tammy. She stood in the cold pouring rain and directed my husband back onto site and then offered to help set up! Cant say how impressed we were with her kindness. We have never had this kind of hospitality before in all our travels. Only drawback is train, is did not bother us as I run a fan at night, but if you are a light sleeper it is something to consider.
People vary friendly and helpful! Even offered to help set up.
Staff so friendly, bathrooms and grounds clean, safe, great price convenient to sight seeing. Will come back again, the smothermans loved it felt right at home stayed 2 nights
Have stayed here several times, and it just keeps getting better. Excellent park. Very well kept Gravel roads. Nice level gravel sites. Live music, cafe, ice cream on site. Easy to get to Broadway from here. We love this campground and staff.
This was a very pleasant surprise and we really enjoyed it and we hope on our return trip in a couple weeks they have a site for us to spend a couple of days there. We really enjoyed it great service.
Staff was very nice. Have cold beer and food in the general store and live music. I think they are making upgrades to the camp had new rock spread. Only reason I give three stars is it is very full and busy, and there were a lot of trains that go by. Would stay again for a night or two.
The owners are extremely nice and make you feel at home. They offer home cooked meals daily. The lots are quite small. Bathroom facilities are exceptional. Very clean.
What a great place! Very nice campground and even nicer staff. You wont find many like this one.Well be back again
We just spent 6 nights there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They are a family owned business and they seem to want to make you feel like part of the family too. Ate dinner there the first night and food was really good. Train didn’t bother us as our Newmar is insulated really good. Never heard it inside the Motorhome. The music they provide is nice when sitting outside. Great way to end the day. Store looked to be stocked great for the campers. Would we stay again? Without a doubt. 7/6/2019. Had fireworks on the 4th!!
Great campground. Nice and helpful owners
Very nice campground. Wonderful staff. Super entertainment. The train ran all night though. Very loud.
Conveniently located, friendly staff, live music in the evening and a delicious dinner served from 5:30 to 7:30 every night. Level sites with full hook ups, propane available on site. This is a great place to stay when visiting Nashville
Only stayed for a night, but the staff went above and beyond. Even had live music and a food truck. Just a short drive off of I-65. Would come back for sure!!
We called later in the evening looking for a spot for the night as we traveled north, and we got one. It sounds like we lucked out because they are usually full. We got a nice long pull through so we didnt even have to unhook the trailer. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. The park and facilities were very well kept and clean. We will be back for a longer stay when we visit Nashville. Thank you!
This place treats you like family. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect.Sites are a little cramped, but the nightly entertainment and dinners make up for that.
This is the best RV park weve been at so far! They serve a special dinner every night for $8 and if you dont like what the special is you can order pizza with whatever toppings you want for $11 & thats for a 8 slice pizza!! They also do breakfast and its too order as well $7.50. They also have live music every night!! Theres also a little general store here too!! I wish all RV parks where like this, Id buy a real fancy RV and live full time in it if all parks where this AWESOME!! If youre coming through here this is SO worth the stop!! People/Staff are super friendly and polite!!
Hosts/family couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We had a site that backed up to the train tracks. They warned us and asked if that was OK. We said no problem and it wasn’t but if that noise is going to bother you, ask for another site. The only issue we had was that we decided to stay an extra night and someone told us we would have to change sites. Again no problem. But as we were moving someone else said we didn’t have to change sites. Communication could have been better. We would stay there again. Oh. Very clean bathrooms and showers.
The park and its staff are wonderful. Spaces are large and easy to access. I had a problem with my leveling system and the staff rescued me and helped me get on my way. I was very pleased with my stay and will stop again when travelling through.
The location isnt the best (sandwiched between train tracks and a busy highway), but everything else was great. Yes, the people, live music, and food are fantastic, as everyone says :) I have a 45 fifth wheel and requested a pull thru site for one night. My site was long enough to put TWO of my fifth wheels there! It was pretty tight turning in to my site, and it wasnt very close to being level, but I loved how spacious it was. My husband and I took a walk around the campground and noticed that there are sooooo many different sites. If you call ahead, REQUEST SOMETHING SPECIFIC, or you may risk getting a short, skinny site for your massive rig.
Stayed for a week. Great family run park. Clean level spaces. Clean restrooms and showers and laundry. We were there over Easter and enjoyed live music in the evenings. They prepared a home cooked buffet style dinner for guests Easter Sunday. Friendly staff. Would recommend this park to family and friends!
Incredible customer service! Led to our spot. They stayed after hours to help us. Very friendly!!
Nice little RV Park off I65. Good food, live music, nice people. 50amp hook up, water, sewer, cable. Gravel pad and roads. Convenient store that is also a country kitchen. Real home cooked meals that were a welcomed treat after being on the road all day.
Very nice RV park. Clean, Friendly staff, live music twice in the 5 nights we were there that was really good. Large sites. Easy trip into Nashville (as long as you dont drive during rush hours.) The only down side, if you consider it one, is that the train runs directly behind the campground and the trains run frequently all hours of the day and night. I would definitely recommend this RV park to anyone visiting the Nashville area.
Really nice people in the office/market where there is live music on some nights so you get entertainment while doing your laundry and eating pizza. Sites are level and really tidy. Id be happy to stop here again.
My husband and I just recently stayed here. What a wonderful RV Park! We had a great experience from booking our stay, to the time when we arrived and the assistance they gave to get us set up. The owners and team made us feel like family. Dog friendly and has fun on site entertainment. We felt very welcome and taken care of during our entire stay. We plan to visit this location often. You should too!
We took our first camping trip to grand ole rv and the staff, Mike and Tammy were amazing, they personally showed us to our campsite and helped us set up the camper, including the sewer, electric and water, They even loaned us a sewer hose since ours was too short. Fantastic place. Their sign says you will come as guests, but leave as family! Tommy, Bailey, Sue, and Papaw were wonderful. I truly didnt want to leave. We are already planning a return trip to see our new family!
Nice location if you want to visit Nashville and the live music every night is very cool but its on a major road and next to a train track so a little loud and they really cram as many rvs as they possibly can in here.
Just spent 8 nights at the Grand Ole RV Resort. I would certainly stay there again. Arrived on Thanksgiving to find out the park had a dinner with all the trimmings for all the guests. The smoked turkey was great. This park is about 10 miles north of downtown Nashville. Close for trips to the Opre, but out of the traffic. All personal that I came in contact with were great. Tommy Jr helped me out with a plumbing problem. Thanks Tommy. I think I still owe you an adult beverage... Entertainment on the weekends was very good. They have small store and even sell beer. Propane was priced right. They also offer pizza and burgers, fries and other good stuff at there cafe. All told the staff here has made this a premier place.
The staff are very down to earth and nice, however there is no dog park. There are some what they call fields, but not really made for your dog to run free. We are parked in here like sardines. The pull through sites are end to end. In other words our windshield and the end of the fifth that has a large window - we could look in each other’s rv. They should have paved this place for what they have spent in rock driveways. There is no design to the campground. I would stay again only if there was no where else available. And there is a TRAIN all hours very, very close. Sorry.
This is the best place to ever stay at. Sue has been the best in helping us. We came from Florida when the hurricane hit us. The whole staff that we have dealt with has been wonderful to us. I LOVE THIS PLACE. An SUE YOU ARE THE BEST. They make you feel like family.
Nice location, about 20 minutes to Nashville. They have live music in the evening, which was a fun surprise. They have a dinner plate available, but we didnt try it. Breakfast is also available. People were very friendly. Well be back!
I dont think there are sufficient words to describe our time here. The owner and his family and staff are amazing. Live music, outstanding food and we were treated to fireworks on the 4th of July. We will come back here! Thank you!
The nicest family run campground around. Easy on and off 65. Great food and music everyday. Thank you!youwe will be back in April.
