Amazing open space for the community and environment. Lots of native plants, birds and small animals. Keep to the marked trails and lets see how it evolves over time.

Still a work in progress. Some visitors unfortunately bring their dogs unleashed and they scare the wildlife and destroy the young plants. A wonderful place for bird watchers. Once the vegetation is fully established this is going to be a wonderful sanctuary for wildlife and a serene place to visit and stroll through.

Restoration project is progressing nicely

Love this new natural space restored by UCSB. We lost count of the different types of birds we saw.

Need public bathrooms, otherwise its a great open space

I love coming out here to recharge, an extremely comforting space

Thanks UCSB for opening this beautiful area up for walking but the trail still needs some work. Its too stony and bumpy that we cant take our baby carts there.

Good for wildlife viewing and walking .
