Played 3/4 games last week and was really really impressed. Ive played many escape rooms and this had some of my favorite set design/environment. Absolutely stunning. I didnt like the lighting in pirate room since using my phone broke immersion and the clue delivery was lacking in some games. But otherwise it was really fantastic. Ive played games considered the best in southern CA and I actually think the mummy room was better set design than those. Ive recommended it to many people already!

Kinda late review but...The rooms here are very fun! The sets and decorations are very impressive. When entering the room, it looks like your really in the background story. The staff are very friendly too.

Went with my daughter Nd husband and had a blast. Escaped with 3 minutes to spare! I liked how the 3 of us had a private room, I had read that other places grouped you with others if your party was less than 10. Also liked that my 9 year old could go where as some places didnt allow kids under 13. The ambiance of the mummy room was realistic. The puzzles are hard, but you can ask for help. The help is good as they still wont give you the answer but will provide a clue or suggestion to help you solve the puzzle. Be sure to do things in the right order. In other words, it wont work if you try to solve the puzzles at the back of the room first. Everyone should work together on each puzzle as you encounter it and make your way around the room together. Cant wait to go back!

I have been here multiple times for different events and have been to every escape room on the venue. Challenging, but really well made and detailed. Definitely the hardest was the pirate ship themed room, but my group needed hints for all of them. Staff is super nice, and happy to help. The lobby has a nice atmosphere, with snacks and games to entertain yourself with.

The Cube was great! It was my first time in an escape room and we got out before the 60 minutes were up. Raul was very helpful and helped us with hints. It was cool to do this as a family.

Great experience, we did the room with 7 people and took about 40min. Design, difficulty and length was overall pretty good. At $35 a person its a little pricey compared to escape rooms like The Basement in LA which is 2 hours south, $39 per person, and considered one of the best in the world.But if you live in the area and want something to do, its a really good time and its good to support the small, local company.

Went to the Cube last night and wow! I’ve been to many escape rooms and this was one of my all time favorites. Pharaoh’s Tomb was truly awesome and I can’t wait to try the other rooms. The clues and puzzles are very well thought out, challenging, and creative. The decor was very well put together and the puzzles all matched the theme of the room. We escaped in 57:00 with only one hint!By the way, they even have free drinks and snacks in the lobby!

My wife and I did the Pharaohs Tomb. The theme was excellently employed, the puzzles generally made sense and our host was very nice. Having unlimited hints took the pressure off, even though we didnt need much. Im glad it was just the two of us as any larger of a group would have been claustrophobic.

So much fun!! I did the heist room and I cant wait to go back and do more. The hosts are really friendly and make sure you have a great experience. The other great thing is reservations are private!

Probably the best room escape room I’ve been to, and the workers made the room even better by giving minimum hints and making every room so detailed.

Went with my family of four and had no idea what to expect. I was blown away with how fun and exciting this was and it was worth every penny. The staffs enthusiasm was infectious and they made us feel very welcome. We did the diamond heist and finished with 2 minutes to spare. You get 45 minutes to complete and they stay in radio contact with you so if you need a hint or redirecting they will help you help yourself which came in handy. They also have different options of difficulty.

Tried this place out for a date night with my wife. It was a new experience for both of us. We both had a great time solving the puzzles and making it out! The staff is great! Very friendly and helpful. We cant wait to come back and try new rooms. And Im definitely recommending this to all my married friends.

FIRST TIMERS! My girlfriend and I decided to try an escape room for a double date night, and what a successful night it was! The themes are very entertaining and the decor exceeded my expectations! We were even given a little spooky introduction before our quest for survival. I will definitely be coming back for the rest of the escape rooms.P.S. We made it out of the pirate themed room with only seconds to spare!

Took my wife and 11 year old daughter and we had a blast. The room was amazingly well built. The staff were great and made sure my daughter had a great time. Highly recommend.

We just had so much fun at The Cube Escape Rooms! These guys are the best! Spacious lobby, leather couches, complimentary soda, water, snacks, my faves are those little chocolates from Europe! WOW! And their newest Heist Escape Room is the bomb, literally, no spoilers though You should definitely check these guys out when you’re in the area. I know we are coming back to play their third Egyptian escape room soon!! So excited!!

Probably one of the best rooms weve done. My husband and I try to hit one room on every vacation and we always get the room to ourselves. This room had more than just finding keys for locks, this was very well thought out. Critical thinking is needed for sure. Clues were excellent, room was very well constructed. EXCELLENT, top of the line. I would definitely recommend Cube Escape!!!!!!

I cannot say enough about our wonderful experience at The Cube Escape Rooms! Pirates Parlor was a blast- definitely a challenge, but so much fun! Cant wait to try the other rooms!

We went here with the family the day after Thanksgiving and had a blast in the Tomb of Pharaoh. The staff are super nice. Very enjoyable activity.

The most fun you can have in Santa Barbara. Skip ZoDo’s and check out The Cube. Far more memorable!

This was my fourth Escape room, introducing it to my family. We did the Heist. What I liked about this one is the quality of the room and game pieces. The staff was super helpful and nice.

Fun room, great and friendly staff! The pirates room was well constructed. Overall good times.A few suggestions:Some members of our party felt it was a bit difficult to see in the room, but I enjoyed the ambience overall. The provided lighting could maybe be a bit brighter.Some objects in the room were misleading (one sack we opened had no hints). Possibly remove or minimize those, or make it apparent that they are not part of the game.Give fewer hints, or give hints only on request. Other rooms sometimes have a projector that shows a hint number with a limited number of hints. Only hints through that wooden board is an option?Need a better method of payment. Prepaying before would be good. Venmo is not the best option for business payment because the ‘customer’ can charge back. Just be careful!Had a good time

Excellent! Loved the puzzles - weve done at least 10 other escape rooms in other cities and this place had unique puzzles that Ive never seen before. Friendly and thorough orientation before we started got us in the right headspace. Game itself was challenging enough to be fun, but not frustrating. Recommended!

This is a really great place. Ive been twice once for their Pirates room and again for the Diamond Heist. Both rooms were great. They focus on great puzzles and they dont pack the rooms with false leads or red herrings. The puzzles are intrictae and very smart. They really blend tech old fashioned puzzle solving. Staff is great and will be as helpful as you would like in providing clues. The focus here is on having fun.

Definitely one of the cooler escape rooms weve done, especially the diamond heist! We really enjoyed all of the technology these rooms had compared to others. Theyre very well done.

Took my SBCC Advanced ESL class and we solved the Pirate and Heist puzzles in time! It was a blast and a thoroughly enjoyable experience! The staff was excellent and we loved the settings and plan to return!

I visited The Cube Escape Room with a friend and we loved it! Ive done several escape rooms before but Pirate Parlor is hands down the best one yet. Owner is very friendly, office space is accommodating. Definitely will come back when new rooms are built.

I went in a group of 5 and played the pirate-themed room-- everything was excellent. The puzzles were about right in difficulty for my group who mostly had no prior escape room experience, and the theming and decorations were top notch. I liked that our group wasnt put with another group of strangers even though the room was for up to 10 people. Excited for when they add the upcoming rooms!

Incredibly kind people, and a fun experience! Roman is very accommodating and is a great host.Some suggestions:- there should be less clues, both written and verbal- timer inside the room- its okay if people dont finish! It makes it more fun to know that not everyone could make itOverall an excellent experience, and cant wait for more rooms!

I love The Cube Escape Rooms. Used to be mobile, now permanent rooms, the best in Santa Barbara/Goleta area! Must visit if youre near by. More fun if you bring your best crew!

Most horrible escape room Ive ever been too. I keep it short, but if you want to see more of my analysis, keep reading beyond my double spaces. Anyway, place had a shady atmosphere. Would not recommend for kids. Dennis, was our guy on the mic, was a (Ill keep it PG) snarky little liar. The whole staff was a little stand-offish.(Extended review): Dennis gave us unwanted clues when we didnt need it. And, in order to solve some of the puzzles, we absolutely needed Denniss help, no way we wouldve been able to figure out on our own. We did the pirate theme one. Seriously, believe me, not a place to take the kids. Nothing about that place gave me the warm fuzzies. DO NOT GO. Try a different place. TOO CREEPY.

Awesome escape room experience! The pirates treasure escape room was challenging and plenty of fun! This is a nice little treasure in Goleta.

Lots of fun with a little assistance from the staff when needed. Enjoyed our first escape room experience with friends and family during our annual reunion.

The Cube Escape Rooms in Goleta is an awesome experience to have with friends, family and loved ones. You definitely have to be sure to work well together to figure out how get out of the room. In my wife and i’s case it was the diamond heist, so we had to work together to figure out how to steal a diamond from a rich collector. The puzzles were very clever and the way figure to everything out... well you’ll just have to try it for yourself bc I don’t want to spoil anything. But I can tell you that atmosphere and music felt authentic and the scenario was really fun to be apart of. The staff is super friendly and supportive, and able to help you out with clues or other concerns you might have. Everyone has to try it once because it’s just too cool not too. We made it out, and it added to the highs of figuring everything out. Now it’s your turn. Thanks a million to the staff and owners at The Cube.
