Got fitted for a full bag with Ray. Went in with a set of clubs in mind based on my own research. After hitting in the sim, I found out that those clubs weren’t right for me. Ray took the time to explain the numbers to me and was never pressuring one way or the other. It’s a truly scientific experience and Ray is the master of the science. Can’t wait to play my new set and enjoy playing with clubs perfectly fit to my swing and stance. Drove all the way from New Bern for the fit and wouldn’t dream of doing it any differently. Thank you Ray for the hard work and the great clubs.

I’m not one to write reviews but the service I got today was absolutely awesome! I had not played in a while and they were very patient with me gave me a lot of very useful tips. They were all about giving me what fit me the best and it wasn’t this years fancy new driver but a demo driver fit me the best. Hour and a half drive was definitely worth it and highly recommend this to anyone of my friends or someone looking for an awesome fitting! Thank you guys you’re awesome!

I had this team analyze my swing and adjust my irons. Great job in a timely manner. Very reasonable price. They also replaced grips on my entire set. Once again, great selection and excellent pricing.

When three different people told me about this place I had to check it out. I was thinking it would be a “regular fitting” like the ones I had before at the big box places. I was dead wrong. Ray and Travis were incredible at their craft. Patient, enthusiastic, and professional. I left with a custom fitted set of Mizuno irons. We tired 5 different brands of irons, multiple shafts, grips, lie angles, etc!

I spent over 2 hours getting fitted for irons and woods. I got Ping g700 irons and g410 driver, 3 and 5woods. I usually shoot 78 to 82 normally My first round with new clubs was 74 last weekend. This weekend shot 72. Its amazing how well they feel and ease of the shot. Highly recommend!!!!

They are Awesome!!! I took my daughter in for some irons and they spent well over an hour with her. There is no pressure!!! We ended up getting her 3 wood cut down and regripped and bought a 7 iron. Theyve DEFINITELY gained a customer for life!!!! Top Notch!!!!

Excellent Customer Service. Ray is very knowledgeable and helped me find the right irons with the right shafts to eliminate a hook. Ill definitely be going back when Im in the market for new clubs.

Awesome experience today with Ray. He spent 3 hours with my brother and I and got us dialed in completely. We couldnt be more excited to get the new irons we ordered which will arrive in 2 weeks. If you need to get fitted for clubs, there is no one better. We drove 3 hours round trip and if it would have been twice as far it still would have been worth it.

Our 13 year old son, Noah has had two fittings with David and has a third scheduled next week. We are truly impressed with every aspect of this shop. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. No detail is overlooked in finding exactly the right clubs and equipment for the individual. Every suggestion made is spot-on and helpful. Nothing is rushed. They really take the time needed to assess each golfers needs. My son loves all the attention to detail, and has learned from the tips hes been given during his club fittings. Im a Google reviewer, read them and sometimes write them. Read many positive and a couple negative reviews, so when it was time to finally be fitted for some newer irons, I chose First Tee because of the Golf Digest review.I wasnt rushed, and after a warmup, began the fitting process.Shaft analysis, then moving through various irons and shafts. When the right combination was found, ( Callaway Rogue X); it was SIMPLY MARVELOUS! No doubt about it. Hitting them longer and starting to see some consistent scores in the 80s. Not bad for a 17 handicap. Great job Ray!

People were nice enough, but I felt very rushed the whole time I was being fit for a driver. The pro was trying to convince me that I would get better with the club after some time on the range. I made the suggestion to add some weight to the club and then it performed like I wanted it too. I guess since I wasnt hitting the ball like he liked he thought whats the use, but with proper swing weight for me all that changed. I was dissapointed after driving 3 hours round trip and he did not have anyone else scheduled. I arrived at 12 was scheduled for 1 so he took me on back and said he was there until 3. Maybe since I had a set budget and it was not $600 dollars may have had something to do with it or maybe he was just having a bad day. I will say the Ping G400 is the best performing driver I have ever used. Just line up middle fairway and it is usually is In the fairway or first cut.......great club.

These guys are the best!! I had been looking around for a while, doing my research and all, to find the right place to get my first set of fitted clubs. David was great. We did an iron fitting and he explained everything along the way. I could understand well and see the results on the computer to match what he was saying. I will be back soon to do a driver and wood fitting. I ended up buying a set of clubs as I planned to before I went there. There was no pressure to buy in fact he could see my swing slowing down and I was getting tired and suggested we do the woods in another fitting which was the right thing to do. Glad I made the drive from Jacksonville.

Have used these guys several times for equipment repairs, purchases, etc....allways are extremely knowledgeble and helpful. Great selection in store, and can get anything you need. If you are looking for a full service golf shop (Top 100 in Golf Digest) this is the place, I live an hour away, its worth the trip.

I love this place. Im completely new to the game of golf and knowing how expensive it can be and how quickly the dollars can rack up. Knowing that I was worried about going somewhere and being hounded about getting this or that and not really knowing what Im getting since Ive had very limited exposure to the game of golf to begin with.The manager and his wife were there and when they were done with the gentleman that was there before me, they gave me their complete attention. John B. easily spent almost an hour with me explaining different options, the pros and cons of going each route and then what would be the best for what I wanted to spend. Not only did he spend that time to explain everything to me, he even took to testing room to hit the clubs and gave me some tips on how to hit the ball. I know most places let you hit the clubs before you get it but I was very surprised that he took the time to teach me something to get me started.I felt like they were old friends, completely tended to and nothing was presumed. It was all about what met MY needs and how they could help me get there. I ended up getting a set of Adams Tight lies plus. A great set thatll last me as long as I want, but (depending on how I progress) when I decide to upgrade and get fitted for a set, Ill be coming back here along with any of my other golfing needs.
