We had a great time. We arrived way before check-in time and the wonderful woman at the front desk gave us an upgraded room for free because it was clean and ready early. The room was nice; not glamorous or anything, but we had no complaints. The free breakfast was good. The hot springs were delightful. We also accidentally left a piece of jewelry behind and, after calling the lodge the next day, the man offered to mail it back to us.Overall, we are very pleased.

Great place especially if youre going to the hot springs pool. It was included in our room rate, also came with breakfast. The hotel is right across from the pool and is just a short walk to get to. They gave us a wrist band to get access to the pool and breakfast. The room was clean with a good amount of space. Two queen beds and good size bathroom. TV, fridge, microwave, and safe. Lots of parking on the rear. Covered parking comes in on level 2, and out door parking comes in on level 3. Staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. I will definitely be back.

Pretty decent hotel, pictures are a little deceiving but besides that it’s a good stay. The only thing that sucked is the front desk didn’t have access to the blankets so my first night I was freezing. Also the hot springs are across the street, I recommend bringing a robe because the hotel does not have any. Their Covid Percautions were pretty good and everyone respected that. The guy at the front desk was very kind, one of the girls wasn’t as much. I would stay here again, especially since you’re usually not in your room a lot.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Glenwood Springs Lodge for his birthday. We expected a nice hotel for the price and also chose this hotel because it was attached to the hot springs. What a mistake!!!We arrived at our room and was immediately disappointed. Despite being quite outdated, we tried to keep a positive attitude. However, there was nothing but problems with the cable tv the whole time we were there. We would start to watch a movie and the channel would stop working. We called the front desk four times before deciding we will never stay here again. We chose to go next door to the Colorado Hotel for morning coffee and later for a sit down breakfast. There was no comparison! It was decorated and so inviting when you walked in door. Breakfast was delicious. We discovered later it would have been cheaper had we stayed at the Colorado hotel and paid for admission to pools. Also on our first evening they decide to do a fire drill in middle of COVID and everyone was forced to use stairs for over two hours. No social distancing!!The hot springs while appearing dated were amazing as always. We will be back but not to this hotel. If you want a nice couple of days in Glenwood springs, take our advice and stay next door.

During Covid-19 the lodge has essentially become a motel you check in and get the keys, when you leave, you leave the keys in the room and go. There is no interaction, no room service during your stay.Everything seemed cleaned and guests were wearing masks outside their rooms. They do offer a grab and go breakfast over at the Hot springs Cafe, but you are given what you ask for, a egg/bacon/ham biscuit, banana, pastry, coffee. Etc. After a few days, its not worth the walk over to get it.There is a village inn about the same distance from the hotel, after 8am lots of places in town were open.Hot springs access was included in our room rate and although the springs were busy, keeping 6ft apart was easy.

Beautiful and spacious hotel rooms, and you definitely got value for the free unlimited access to the hot springs pool. Some important notes for COVID: their large pool and medium-sized hot pools are open, all others are closed. Also note they stop serving beer at 3pm and food at 6pm. I would recommend getting something in town rather than the hot springs. The pool has a long line by mid day - try to get there early for good photos and more spacious swimming. If you have your lodge wrist band, note that you can bypass the lines and go up front (this was not clear when entering the pools).

Great hotel. I really recommend staying here due to the proximity of this hotel to the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, great pricing, and great deals. When you stay here, the price of the pool across the street is included in the price, and the restaurant in same building as the pool (As of writing this, it is not on google maps) is included too. Drive up here and stay the night, then in the morning go across the street and get some amazing breakfast from the restaurant, and then come back to the hotel to get your swim-clothes, and then go to the pool for the rest of the day! There are a lot of other cool things to do in this neat town. Again, highly recommended that you stay here on your trip to Glenwood Springs.

Absolutely amazing lodging. If youre visiting Colorado, even if its across the state, you must at least give this place a try.My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon, and the staff at the resort made it an amazing experience with all the little odds and ends they did for us.We booked a mid level room and it was more than enough. It was clean, spacious, and cutely decorated with that mountain vibe youd expect from a old timey Colorado lodge. The two hot spring pools are large and we had no concerns with COVID or social distancing. The food and drink options on site were excellent as well, considering the COVID circumstances. The breakfast that is included is absolutely amazing and Id go for the breakfast sandwiches even if I wasnt staying there.Theres a foot bridge that goes to the downtown area, lots of food, drink, and shopping options conveniently located nearby. Finally, my wife ended up realizing that she left her Apple Watch in the room about 4 hours after we left. The next morning we were able to talk to someone at the lodge, who offered to ship it to us at no cost to ourselves. The watch was in our mailbox before we even got home from our honeymoon.Long story short, DO NOT HESITATE to book here, you will have an amazing experience.

Loved it! We got the classic room, with no balcony or so, which was totally perfect and wonderful for two people. Everything was clean! No daily room cleaning throughout Covid though. Breakfast was a nice add-on. Having the hotspring close by and easy entrance to it was just perfect! We had a small issue with the bathtub, but it got fixed in no time after we mentioned it. Dont forget to visit the steam caves right next to the hotel - a natural steam room in a cave - awesome stuff (not part of the hotel).

Pool is overpriced but was included with room and was why we chose location at first, front desk refused to get a different room and didnt offer any compensation (We canceled our remaining days and went next door and got twice the room at half the price) Then in the middle of night I was bitten by spider and couldnt go back to sleep. Manager (only after I asked form discount) finally said theyd refund half the rooms price, but as time of this post I have not seen it credited to my account yet.Update- I did finally get money back after 4 days

This was my 2rd time staying at Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge.. and I have to say I am not that impressed. Yes, it is nice to have unlimited access to the pools and walking distance to restaurants, BUT I dont think the price is worth it. I paid $300 for one night (with military discount) and was only there for 16 hours. The rooms are outdated and the carpet throughout the hotel gives it a musty smell. For the price they charge per night youd think they would be able to shell out some money for remodeling. I really want to love this place but I just dont think the price is worth the experience. Next time I think Ill stay at an Airbnb and just pay to get into the Hot Springs. However, I will say that Pre-Covid I received the best massage of my life at their Spa, so kudos for that!

This hotel was just ok, especially for the cost. We spent the weekend of July 17 th here. Unable to control air conditioning in room. Difficult to sleep because it was too warm. Only places on site for food are across the way at the pool. Not convenient if you aren’t spending your day at the pool. Who wants to go through the hassle of going to the pool at 9 am for a grab n go breakfast. To do just that grab and go. Our stay was pleasant at the lodge. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The ease of going to the pool was great and awesome that it’s an included cost in the room fare. I do think I would suggest adding an entrance for hotel guests closer to the hotel like the exit. I only say this because it was a very cold night walking over to the pool and back. It would have also been nice to have robes to wear back and forth to the hotel but these weren’t in our room. I think we would’ve gone to the pool more if this would’ve been the case. I also wish hotel guest pool towels were a little less scratchy and luxurious than the ones provided if robes aren’t provided. Ice management was great around the lodge. Also, water in the vending machine was $4 which is a bit high. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but nice that they include it. The smell of the soaps and lotion provided was pleasant. The amount of towels provided in the room upon checking in was more than adequate which is a plus. I loved the older photos of the pool lining the halls of the lodge. We visited in the beginning of December and the Christmas tree in the lobby was gorgeous!! The room was lovely minus one little hiccup...Our only complaint was there was hair in the shower when we checked into our room. We did not mention this to staff, though. Other than this, our stay was great and we will definitely stay again.

My family stayed at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort during the 4th of July week of 2020, and we had a mixed experience. We paid $300 per night for our room, which is a fortune to us, but with COVID 19 this was a close-to-home trip we agreed to risk instead of our usual flight vacation to Cancun. We checked in around 9:00 pm and were told at the reception desk our room would have a `view of the mountains but we were put in a corner basement room with a view of a brick wall. We have stayed in hotels in Vegas and Cancun which actually offered luxury for this price, but we were really disappointed with the size and quality of this hotel room. My wife complained and to the hotels credit, they agreed to move us on our second night to an upstairs room with a balcony and more space (which is what we had initially booked) but for the price, even this room was a disappointment. The advantages of Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge are the access to the hot springs pool (included in the price) and an outstanding hot breakfast menu (also included in the price.) We were very happy with the amenities but seriously let down by the room quality.

He had 14 bites that were in patterns of two or three. The rest of us looked and also had bug bites in patterns of 2-3. My husband talked to a lady at the hotel desk on the phone about our room having bed bugs and she became very defensive and acted like the bites were probably mosquito bites. We were just trying to give the hotel a heads up. Today while taking the last of our clothes out of the suitcase to wash, I found a bed bug. Look out for bed bugs just a heads up
