My companion and I were here for First Friday in November and it was awesome. That is the night when the local artists open their studios for the folks that come to the open house. It is a great place to take classes, and get to really know people in the art community in Chicago. They have classes in ceramics, metalsmithing and jewelry, glass, textiles, painting and drawing, printmaking, digital arts and photography, and classes for kids as well.
