Thielke Arboretum

Came across this beautiful by accident! The arboretum was beautifully maintained with lots of little surprises along the way, like the cute wooden bridges and educational signs. The natural playground was so sweet to stumble upon, and what a creative idea. Will definitely be back to explore more trails!

This place has a nice little hiking trail that gently goes up a little then down and winds around. Fun to walk. Not a wheelchair accessible trail. Great practice trail for kids too!

It was very pretty with easy walking paths. The pond is pretty, there are beautiful perennial areas and many tree specimens. There are plenty of benches to sit down

One of the loveliest spots in Bergen County. Their habitat restoration work is coming along wonderfully. Great place for walking, photo shoots, and just enjoying nature. The Thielke family has created a fabulous and peaceful treasure for us all to enjoy.

Amazing for fishing. Really fun place and active fish. Bass fishing is an 8 out of 10 here for me.

Beautiful, shaded playground for hot summer days. Theres a little paved track around the playground but inside the fenced in area where kids can ride bikes and scooters.

I really enjoyed this local arboretum. A nice display of different tree specimens and nice paths for walking around.

What a wonderful park tucked away. My grandson and I had such a nice time exploring. Will definitely go back.

The trail was nice to walk, which included small wooden bridges to cross.

I love this place. It has a few meandering trails, a stream and a pond which we frequent during our walks.

Great oasis nearby.

This is a great park! They have things for smaller kids to climb on and they also have a separate thing for bigger kids. This kept my grandson busy for a couple of hours until he was ready to go to sleep! its also very well taken care of.

I love the arboretum. It is such a beautiful and serene place to visit. My young children love the playground here which is fenced in and it offers shade in the summer heat. And my kids love to do the story walk and see the pond and the fountain. Its a whole day event if we bring a picnic lunch. It can get really busy during the summer because it shares a parking lot with the Glen Rock public pool.

I love to have this feature in my town

You can take a nice short walk on the path that skirts the pond in the back, very nice to be a bit closer to nature.

So pretty and peaceful. Not too large of an area to cover, walking. Close to other amenities. Great photo opps. Benches for relaxation. Nice spot for photos of nature and special events.

I love this place. I take my son to see all the plants and life in the huge pond.

A wonderful hidden glen rock gem. Hard to notice just driving by, but a quiet and diverse little forested area. I loved a bush of wine grapes I found along the trails

Great business with intelligent helpful pest control techs.

Cute place to cool off during the hot summer days. The trail was very well marked and we saw some wildlife too. There was some type of educational class going on while we were there. Its easy enough to find while bike riding. Will have to return in the fall to appreciate all the changing colors of the leaves.

This place is such a neat place to visit. Im a photographer and Ive shot a few families here (with my CAMERA!), but make sure you contact them in advance to pay the fee if youre going to be doing family photos there. They need the money to keep the place beautiful, so do the right thing.

On a lovely summer afternoon, on a comfortable park bench, eating my fresh bread, handmade jams, and iced coffee just bought from the farmers market... Sounds of the splashing fountain, and the laughter of children at the neighboring town pool...a wonderful oasis.

There is a Nice little storybook trail with signs to follow the stories. Also, a great playground for the kids.

Great little Arboretum next to a fenced in playground. Recently redone, the park is great for small kids. There is also fishing in the pond of the Arboretum.
