Very nice place to have a great family time. But have to face a little treble if you’re a outsider. Because it’s a private beach park for the cove residents. So outsiders are not welcomed there. But after entering the park you feel like it’s (trable) worth it. I would love to go again, though I know the bitter part.

Visited Morgan Park yesterday for the first time. You have a gem there in Glen Cove. We really enjoyed our visit. It was just great strolling through the park with a view to the beach, through the trees, interesting buildings on the property... just a lovely afternoon taking in the joys of this little park. I reviewed a lot of the photos that are posted on this site & I must say that we took a bunch of those same angle shots ourselves! The residents of Glen Cove are so lucky to have this little Park within easy access. I can only imagine how lovely it looks in all seasons. We’ll be back!

Great place to sit, walk or, see the most beautiful view of CT. Special spot referred, by long time residents as, lovers lane, it has a gazebo. Great place to get engaged. Its at the end of the beach area, benches situated through out the path. If you want a work out, there are plenty of people out early running, walking doinh some form of exercise. Several roads, trials and stairs lead to the picnic area. During the month of July and August, free concerts are held and they dont disappoint. Plenty of free parking. But, must be a Glen Cove resident, during the summer. Non-residents are welcomed in the park after 6pm. So, concerts in the park are attended by residents and non-residents. Great time had by all. They even have nice picnic areas with grills, YES!! Leads you there, its on a hill. Lots of benches with beautiful views of the water and boats across the way, simply beautiful, worth repeating. Snack bar by beach so if youre handicapped the parking lot and lower grounds cater to someone using a cane or a wheelchair. The further down you walk, there is a challenge for the physically handicapped, it would be the mounting hills on your way back up.

Oh how I wish I was John Peirpont Morgan aka JP Morgan. Well at least we get to use the park! Only for Glen Cove and Locust Valley residents. This is a true gem of the Gold Coast...dramatic sweeping elevations with spectacular views of the Long Island Sound. A must see!!!

3 star because it’s a really nice park. Me and my friends walked in without reading the small printed sign outside the park (Who reads small printed signs before entering a park anyway?). if you’re not a resident of glen cove and park in the parking lot then will end up getting a mean lecture along with a ticket by the state troopers there. Basically outsiders are not welcomed there :/

Morgan Park is a peaceful, clean happy place to go. If you need to get away from your hectic life, take a stroll into this Park and I am pretty sure you will feel alot better. Connect with nature on the trails, go down to the water on a sunny day and check out their concerts during the summer every Sunday evening. Just look down every now and then..the geese there may have dropped a couple. I always see the City workers of Glen Cove cleaning up. Thank you Glen Cove for this oasis.

My wife, two kids (7 & 2) went to see the July 4th fireworks at the Morgan Memorial Park this year (2018). It was such an amazing experience. We parked just a few blocks away from the park (for free) walk down to the park and found a spot right beside the stage. The orchestra was playing old classics and kids of all ages were playing around just having an amazing time. The area was perfect for kids because no one was smoking or drinking or being loud. I dont know if you can find a better place for spending a few hours with the family. The fireworks started at around 9pm and went on for at least 30 mins or more. The drive back was a bit tough but the police directed traffic very well in my opinion and everyone seem to have a good time. From our spot we were also able to see the sea cliff fire works and parts of the Jones beach fireworks in the far distance. I would highly recommend the venue for anyone not just for Juky 4th but also to spend a quite evening with family and friends. There is spot to go fishing and walk on the sandy beach. Please note there are no dogs allowed nor drinking alcohol or smoking. You will find restaurants near by but not sure if there are any thats within walking distance of the park. Residents of Glen Cove and Locust Valley may use Morgan Park from Memorial day to Labor day. they check for residency at the entrance.
