Eagle Ridge Golf Club

My father and I play here every week. Prices are great and the course is in good condition (most traps are considered ground under repair). Some very challenging holes and a good mix of easier holes. The greens can be very fast so beware.

Well kept. Windy. Big greens. Some tough holes. Bring extra balls. Sand traps not allowed to be maintained

In my opinion, this is the most challenging golf course in South bay. Greens though big but very undulating. Many holes require force carry of 150-200 yards after a good drive.

This course was beautiful...it offers fantastic views of wildlife and is tucked into the nearby rolling hills. Tight fairways, water and plenty of bunkers among the challenges. We were told the bunkers are all being revamped and partially complete as of mid February 2020.

Nice place! Was there at the wedding. As a photographer I would say that the lights at 4 where perfect.

Tough but scenic track. Well maintained. The back 9 is not for the faint of heart. Bring extra balls.

Course and crew where both excellent. Very well designed course greens got faster as the day went on. Cant wait to play it again

Nice golf course, not easy but have lot of fun for your gold game! People work there are nice. This weekend I would like to pay cart fee for my wife as a watcher, but they waived it for free. Thank you very much!

Played here in a tournament. Fun, challenging course. The greens were in good shape w good speed, nothing flat here. The bunkers on the other hand were a joke. Our tournament had to make a rule for a free drop if you get in one. Price to play here was fair and the staff was good.

Attended a wedding here recently - I was unaware that its a residential community as well. The wedding site is deep into the property and cozy; seating accommodates about 60 guests (no shade). The reception was in an L-shaped room. If you wanted to see the first dance, etc., guests have to get up and go to that side. The food was excellent; they had to take down the buffet to allow dancing. Parking is limited due to golfers utilizing the lot as well.

Updated from 8 months ago - Beautiful golf course with club house. The golf terrain is exquisitely set with panoramic views of the mountains and hills.Landscaping is well manicured. Every hole is a challenge, but fun. The short holes are tricky and we must study the line to a perfect golf swing.After 8 months the golf course is deteriorated with weeds. Grass has bald spots. Wood posts are deteriorating.Hope this place is fixed up soon because the TLC is missing.Food at the golf shop has gone down hill.What happened to the beautiful golf course maintenance?

Rude staff and when brought to management s attention they do nothing about it. Would advise you to play elsewhere San Juan oaks is a great course...this course also has no sand in bunkers and fairways in bad condition...

My daughter had her wedding here and it was perfect. Excellent staff.. The wedding coordinator was on top of everything. The entire staff were attentive, helpful and polite. They made my daughters wedding stress free. Excellent place to have a wedding

My brother lives at Eagle RIdge. Ive never golfed here but the grounds are beautiful and he has an excellent view of the golf course from his backyard. Eagle Ridge is AWESOME living!

The course is always fun, but, they need to resand most of the sand traps. My rating would be higher if they took care of the traps.

Beautiful venue. We went there for my aunts 80th Birthday party and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff was attentive, DJ was fun and entertaining, the decorations elegant and food was delicious.

Had a great time playing golf at Eagle Ridge. The crew takes real good care of the patrons. The carts were clean and the food at the turn kept me going to the end.

A beautiful & fantastic place to have your special events. Beautiful surroundings, & the staff is great. The buffet dinner was fantastic! The grounds are well kept & a perfectly beautiful setting for weddings & etc. We were Blessed to be there. Again, staff was great!

Its a difficult course for beginars.

Was here for a wedding. Banquet area was nice and open. The bar area had a good selection of drinks. TVs were also easily seen from anywhere in the bar area- all were playing sports. Warriors were on when we were there. There was also a small dining area where we saw people eating lunch next to the bar. Place was typical golf clubhouse. -1 star is for some of the staff who didnt look like they wanted to be there.

Eagle Ridge personal are courteous and efficient. The course is a Johnny Miller design. Johnny is very demanding of most all amateurs. Shots missing fairways will more often than not be lost or unplayable. Not attacking every hole will provide more opportunities for pars if not birdies. It is a thinking mans course design, not a grip it and rip it course. Greens are quite nice but, again, challenging . One caveat, is the bunkers, ..sand is not in good condition and actually can be played under local rule as ground under repair. All in all, a fine course but very demanding if youre not on your game .

This course itself is nice. Challenging and the sightseeing is good. Sand bunkers are better than before, but still many bunkers are unplayable.The reason I give only one star is it took 5 hours and 30mins today. My tee off time was 8AM on Saturday morning. As far as I know, it was just few teams after the first team of the day, but it took ridiculously long. Totally lost my pace and because of the extremely slow pace, my score was more than +10 comparing to usual, the game was not fun at all, I was starving at the end of game today, impacted my lunch plan, afternoon schedule, and so on. Basically I wasted my weekend today.I would have given 4 stars for the course itself (5 stars minus one because of sand bunkers), but as I learned that I have to expect it sometimes takes 5.5 hours for one round at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, one star is the right score, I think.

Beautiful living space. Houses are of tuscan, palm trees. Very clean. An island in the city you can say because the housing is unlike any other around the area

Very nice golf course and Clubhouse in the beautiful Eagle Ridge gated community. The best place to live in the Gilroy and Morgan Hill area.

My home course during my four years on the Gilroy High School team this course has some great and terrible memories alike. My first eagle and my first 12 both in the same round, that should put the place in perspective.I love the design, the variability of difficulty is a nice change of pace but some holes (Im looking at you number 9 ) are just too stupid hard for my taste. Overall a great course with a lot of character and great views.I will ammend this review to 5 stars if they ever bring back the bunkers on 3, it made that hole now it is lame.

Fun course

Had my brothers wedding here. Amazing staff. Beautiful view. Wedding receptionist coordinator was kind of annoying tho. My mother had asked the cooridinator if they could move the newly weds table a certain angle that would face a certain area of important guest and she was almost hestitant because she had already set up the table how she (the coordinator) wanted it. Started rambling about how many weddings shes done and blahblahblah (Zzzzz). Which was great, you have a resume. Buttttt were still gona need that table to be moved 2 feet to the left. Thanks, customer.The drink i ordered at the bar was good and well balanced. Ordered a baybreeze. Yum.

Great course! A lot of elevation on each hole, keeps things challenging. I throughly enjoy playing here.

The fairway was a little muddy after recent rains but very playable using winter rule.
