A really neat place to walk around. They have some old photos of the area that were very neat to see and had a few items on display from back then as well. The court house is pretty neat to go in and see. It is worth a little time to see.

Weekend bazaars at the Georgetown tx square,right next to the court. Beautiful arrangement of the market with a lot of variety from households,clothes, food,and anything you can think of. We loved it,cant wait to comeback!!

The square in Georgetown is a step back in time. Several small shops with interesting gifts and food is around the square. A great place to bring the kids. We especially like going here during Christmas season.

Great event today. It was the Poppy Festival and they had a really nice stage with good artists, lots of vendors and decent food. They always have really good security so it feels very safe as well. I definitely recommend any event they have in the Georgetown Square.

Beautiful building from another time. I wasnt expecting the grandeur. Go by & see the beautiful Christmas tree on the first floor. Helpful staff pointed my to the office I was seeking. I took the time to read several historical plaques. I was on business, but will return to look at the architecture.

Downtown Georgetown is a lovely historical site, complete with museums of local history, car shows(Saturday at 9am I think- check around to make sure), cafes and shops. Christmas is gorgeous!

I may be prejudiced because I was born in Georgetown Texas in 1961, but its the best little town in the world and I love it!!!So much charm in different things to do. my grandfather used to on the first little bitty grocery store in the Square before it was Davidsons grocery, it was Clouds grocery.

I got married here by Judge Gravell, such a kind man. Obviously this place is near and dear to me for sentimental reasons, but overall the people who work here are so kind and helpful and its full of beautiful architecture and history

The Christmas Stroll was absolutely wonderful once again.

I didnt go in court house this time luckily. Went to market days on the square its a really nice area will go back again when it cools off

Beautiful Texas Court House surrounded by a great square with really nice local shops and restaurants. A great place to walk around when the weather is nice. All lit up at Christmas time just adds to the atmosphere.

Georgetown gives the celebration of our Indepence Day the dignity and respect the 4th of July so richly deserved. I am sure this is true of so many smaller communities around the country. For me, this is how America shows its greatness and strength - not through some tawdry display of militarism.

In and out quickly on business. Has some parking issues but employees make up for it.

Square around the courthouse is lined with speciality shops in buildings 100 years old. It holds a special place in my heart since my mother worked in a five and ten cents store on the square in the 1940s.

Nice building, great design.Caps and court they able to punish you with the speed ticket, without showing your speed he have on his radar dash and without any other evidence and you dont know whos speed cap assigning to you. Maybe he didnt like your car or face and that is absolutely up to the cal on the road. Very interesting judgement. Worthed to think.Mindas

Georgetown Square events on the lawn or in the old courthouse, very good venue and great planning.

The court house is a court house. If youve seen one, youve seen them all. This one happens to be surrounded by several little stores that are worth visiting if you find yourself in the area, but not really worth going out of your way for.

This place is amazing and has a beautiful downtown area with shops and restaurants.

It was a beautiful, crisp Sunday morning. The square was quiet and I am visiting from out of town. (Did live in Georgetown for 3 years in the 90s) Had a good cup of coffee at Cianfrani Coffee Company and enjoyed walking around taking some pictures.

Georgetown has an impressive combination of retail and restaurants. Weekend events bring in music and street shopping.

Absolutely loved the guided tour. Our guides name was Bob Payne. The level of detail he knew about the courthouse, county, and Texas was amazing. With words, he painted pictures that made me feel as if I was living throughout the times and history of the courthouse.I will gladly take the tour next time Im in Georgetown. It was better than a movie.The courthouse itself was a majestic piece of Texas history.

The tour is great. The guy who leads it is a really good guy.

Great during the Christmas holiday season, the annual tree lighting is very popular, expect to park 5-6 blocks away and walk in. Great family friendly atmosphere with a range of food options and pubs/bars close by, many offering live music on an evening. The square around the courthouse is very picturesque with many buildings retaining thier original mid to late 1800s stone facade.

Its Texas and its not Austin. Whats not to love?

Who loves a courthouse? Not too many lol! But Im glad to be able to say, they DO serve justice though. Even if it means they had to prove an investigator to be ridiculously and utterly (and probably knowingly) in the WRONG!

If you like history you need to visit the Court House and the Museum across the street.

Three telescopes were available. We saw the Moon, Jupiter and 3 Galilean moons of Jupiter.

Beautiful, architecturally significant courthouse at the city center of Georgetown. Plan to spend an afternoon in the area enjoying the shops and restaurants surrounding it.

Its always a fun time to visit the Georgetown Square. Its one of our favorite places to visit in Central Texas.

Outdoor concert. Free music cant beat that. Only problem was the heat, but that improved as the evening progressed

Nice to go there in the evening around Christmas time to see the square lit up with lights.

That place is hopping. Puts Belton to shame.
