Please fix the childrens park landscaping needs attention used to be exciting to go the park now there is no slide or descent swings someone destroyed the reading boxes. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Great park.. not many things for children to play on but with the creek, and the huge trees, its a great place to have a picnic and get back to basics

This park has beautiful green space with trails and ample covered picnic tables. The playground is adequate with climbing structures and swings (no slides). There is also a small splashpad, as well as a little train to ride. Overall, great park with tons of space for running and dog walking.

Conveniently located. Multiple places to sit, either under shelter or at open benches and picnic tables. There is a nice walking trail, and beautiful trees.

It has greatly improved since the renovations and clean up has been completed. Some issues are still present due to local vandals trying to destroy the slides and swings at the 2-5year old play ground area but other than that it seems to be a nice place to take the kids to play for a while.

Such a cute park, and so clean and well kept. Nice flat play area, perfect if you have a little thats learning to walk like mine, or if you brought a tricycle its a figure 8 so that would probably be fun too. (I dont know that tricycles are allowed but I took my daughters assistive walking device in there soooooo ) lol.

This is a wonderful park! Children loved the splash pad and waterpark-like pool. We loved it enough that we have rented shelters for our youngest sons 1st birthday next month. We spent so much time in the water that well have to get to the train and playground next visit. Also a very clean park! Bathrooms were stocked and neat.

This is one of our absolute favorite parks. Were Mecklenburg country residents; however we make several trips a year to enjoy this park. This park is also a wonderful birthday party spot for the kiddos.

Quiet and Peaceful. Need to think or just get out the house. Walk this trail. Or run if you prefer.

The air around there smelled like something died.. and the equipment needs a good pressure washing. The fenced in area is cool though... besides people shouldnt be letting their dogs do their business out there where kids are playing ... if that even was a dogs business..

Bought 3 tickets and my sister drove 45 min to go here get there and they soon as we arrive with sunny skys they make us waite an hour to tell us they are gonna close didnt even get to touch the water

Great place to take the kids, keeps both my 5 yr old and 10 yr old entertained. Pool was nice, clean and lifeguards were pleasant and alert. Concession stand prices were very affordable as well. Will definitely go more often!

Wonderful park to visit with your family! There are multiple choices for fun here. From a train to ride to a pool to swim in. The splash pad is so fun. And there are two parks to play on for younger or older kids. My family has had quite a few birthday parties here. Theres an awesome trail too hike on with a running creek beside it. Also, grills to have a cookout and a basketball court to shoot some hoops. This is my favorite park Ive ever been to I absolutely love it!

Sweet splash pad for the kiddos! This place has a pool, basketball courts,a 5 and under place, a 3 and under place. They have swing sets and lots of climbing areas. There are picnic tables and benches everywhere and nice pavilions. There are lots of parking spaces. Trees and shade everywhere! There is an educational audio path about all the beautiful trees in the park

Great fun. Playground, small kids train(a big one), bbq/picnic shelter. Close to splash pad and waterpark also another playground down the hill.

This place is great, love the pool.. Im addicted to that amazing slide they have. Not sure what the purpose of the train that goes 8MPH around in a circle - wish that space was used for something a bit more enriching, but I still love this place overall.

I love the lil train rides they have for the kids and its $1 person they also have a pool but ill probably open back up next summer.They have two parks one for the older kids like 7 and up and the other 2 to 5.My little ones loved it.

I like this place because this is very cool

This was great for a family day out. Went on a Saturday and the pool area was full but not too full. The kids and play and have so much fun the pool is broken up into different sections which helps it not feel to crowded. Plenty of lifeguards very attentive. We also rode the train and the kids loved that. We went to one of the playground areas. I do wish it had more benches in the shaded areas. But overall a great place.

Great place to hang out with the family! We spent a Sunday afternoon at the playground and splash area. The little train was also fun.

The greenway is amazing and refreshing walk. Running river right beside the path is very relaxing. It’s amazing right after it rains because the water is tougher and louder. The park part is small but they have some fun stuff for the kids as well. The train is a nice tough for the kids as well. I’ve been coming to this park since I was little so I hold it close to my heart

It would have been better if they would have put the little kids park close to the older kids park and just fence it in so the little kids cant roam outside the park area.It also sucks that they done away with the baby swings now the little ones dont have nothing to swing on.When you have a 2 yr old and a 9 yr old and they wanna do different things because the parks aint close by to watch both kids then that means one kid misses out while the other gets to play.Want 5 stars then fix it!

I love this park. Its one of the better ones in Gaston county.

Great park. My only complaint is there were no swings for toddlers.

I refuse to let my kids get in this pool, but they will go and play in the fountains at the upper level. Just take a look at whos in the pool and Im sure you will understand my position.

I love this place. Its so peaceful and so many places to walk and sit. I love watching the children run and play. I love whst theyve done to the park by adding on the park with the train. I could just spend hours there.

Kids had a ball. Severe lifeguards. Life jackets for kids available upon request. Snack bar very nice and affortable.

They have aa small train on a track that we grew up with. Beautiful picnic areas. Plus a super cool walking trail that is almost 3 miles long.

I only gave this to stores for the simple fact that my daughter enjoyed her birthday out here. When the session started the slide was not available to use because they were short-staffed. I am already a very impatient person when it comes to waiting for something that should be available already especially when I have paid my money. The slide was not available until about 30 minutes after the session started and had I not complained it probably would have been even longer. Then the last 30 minutes of the session was cut short because someone threw up in the pool. I definitely understand protocol and it had to be cleaned but with that being said unforeseen accidents should not punish everyone else who has paid so I feel that those people should have been compensated in some kind of way. Heres my thing if I pay for 3 hours I expect nothing less than three hours not 2 hours and 59 minutes. The young manager who was at the pool was very nice and she tried to explain. I honestly want to give it only one star considering the fact that the booth where you buy the tickets there were two ladies in there and I was supposed to get a call back and never did. Bad communication and customer service. Im actually still waiting on that phone call now which is 7 Days Later. This was our very first time coming and Im disappointed because basically that was an hour in total of my daughters slide time taken from her and I mean lets be real its only $3 so why would they not be able to say well hey you guys were cut short so let us give you a free ticket or heck I would have even accept it if they said next round will be $1. And some may say well hey like you said its only $3 so dont complain about it just pay it to go again but the reason why I will complain is because if I go to pay to get in they will not accept $2.75 Oh, Theyll want the whole $3 so I want my whole 3 hours. I cant say that I wont return because again it is cheap and my daughter enjoyed herself although she was a little angry by having to leave early. There are bad days for everyone so maybe this was just a bad day hopefully next time wont be as bad.

Its not a very safe place and I worry about the illegal activity which is too bad because its a beautiful place. The water park is safer and I do enjoy taking the kids there.

Beautiful! Lots of trees for shade on much of the paths when walking. Trickling brooks give a tranquil sound effect.

Cayden loves swimming here. Not too crowded and the kids are nice.

Nice park to visit

Big playground area, shelters for families (rentals are cheap, great for bdays) splashpad and public pool ($3 per person for a 3 hour session). I believe the sessions for swim are from 12:00-3:00 & 3:30-6:30 but you can call to double check, or check website.

Only 3 dollars to swim...thats a deal and the pool is always clean.
