This shop was amazing from start to finish! Had a very detailed design and Eddie took his time gave me a quote made my appointment and it was even better when I came back for the tattoo. We all decided that we were not going to go to any of what I refer to as a Tattoo Mills like Chaos or InkLink. I loveddddd getting my first tattoo here! They are super friendly. I walked in and felt comfortable. I was soooooo nervous and they helped keep me calm and they didn’t try to push me to do more then I could handle. I will tell you the best way to describe my experience here is diamond in the rough! Most people dont think artistry when you hear Gastonia and tattoo shop. But in this case you get that and so much more. The hospitality and customer service is like going to a cookout and seeing your favorite aunt, uncle,and cousin there and they tell you they saved you a plate and a spot next to them. My husband and I were there today for tattoos, and the shop and people are awesome. The shop is clean and well kept, with great art work on the walls too, and the tattoo artists are friendly, clean and professional. Eddie is great and is fixing up my husbands old tattoo he had done elsewhere (the photo shows it half completed), and Chantal is the best person Ive seen for watercolor style so she put my dream picture on my arm for me!

Just got done here a couple hours ago for the first time. First off, I was impressed with the greeting I got AS SOON AS I walked into the door. I instantly felt welcomed, and the customers who were being worked on felt the same energy I felt. The shop was very very clean, in comparison to other shops I’ve been into. The prices are reasonable and do splendid artwork, Eddie doesn’t make you feel rushed or rushes you out the door to get to the next one. He completely takes his time and enjoys making conversation. I’m pretty positive that this is my new spot for a long while!

This place is absolutely amazing. My friend and I got our first tattoos here on the 4th by Chantel. Literally just got my tattoo done here by Chantel. The feeling of the entire store was extremely friendly and they were really funny. The store was nicely cleaned and even showed me that they were using fresh needles. This was my first time as well and they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Went to Public Ink for my first tattoo this weekend. I was extremely nervous and Eddie helped me out a lot. I had a great experience and the staff was extremely friendly. This was such an amazing experience. I didnt think I would ever have such a good time while getting a tattoo but Ed made it fun. His personality is great and he is so friendly. He always makes sure that you are comfortable and feel at home. He also makes sure that you feel safe. He talked to me about some ideas I could do with my tattoo like expanding it into a quarter sleeve and adding in another quote. I would have never even thought of doing it if not for him. I will definitely be coming back. This was my first tattoo and I am so glad that I came here to get it done.

Eddie did my 18 year old sons first tattoo. He was great with him. He was patient and kept asking if he was okay, trying to make sure he was comfortable during the tattoo.
