I am from out of state visiting my family and stayed at Comfort INN and across the street we found this place. Did not feel so great going any where with COVID - 19 in high gear ( November 14th). We walked in with our two grandchildren 10 and 13 to find NO one wearing any face covering at all. No waitress/waiter, bartender... There were wipe in some corners of the place but everyone running around like pre-COVID. We left and there were no signs on the door for face covering. Not such Good Times for this place. negative stars!

I am a NC ambassador for #mi22ion and was there for a combined event with operation fly our flag! It is an awesome place! They went above and beyond to make it a special Veterans day celebration! I highly recommend it for all ages and thank them!

We loved the service. Our server was awesome, and down to earth. The kids loved the arcade. I loved playing pool. My little one especially loved the play until you win claw games. And the food was delicious

Lots of fun games, they have a good variety. They have a little general store to redeem tickets for prizes for kids. The drinks were awesome, and the chicken wings were thicc!

Really cool spot. Went during lunch time and had great service. Looking forward to checking it out in the afternoon.

Good selection of both bottled and draught beer. There were plenty of staff ready to answer any questions. Jordan was an excellent server! Daily food and drink specials. Sunday is hotdogs with french fries or tater tots, hotdogs were wonderful. Wings were also good, the mesquite dry rub was excellent. A dude with a parrot was seated at the bar, even made a trip or two to the bathroom. Parrot also posed for a photo op with some kids. Just not so sure about a bird in a restaurant. Probably somewhere between 80 and 100 games taking tokens, not quarters. I counted 14 TVs strategically positioned in the bar, dining and gaming area. Two party rooms with one of the two for large groups. The gaming area was very warm, so warm we cut our visit a little short. If your gaming visit is to help escape the hot weather, you may be disappointed. Hopefully the air conditioning will be addressed.

Usually very good food, this time pizza so hard should have called it bread stick or crouton pizza it was to hard to eat, their solution gave us box to take home...needless to say went in trash outside of their front door, waste of a box lol

Two of my grandsons have had birthday celebrations here in the past 3 months. Each time the staff was accomodating, attentive to our food and drink requests, friendly and professional. Food is good and not overly expensive. The kids (ages 8 & 10) along with their guests had a fantastic time playing all of the arcade games. This is a great place for a stress-free fun gathering for adults an children. Would be a great family night activity as well.

Use to be better now they seem like they are less organized I stopped going there a lot because they tend to charge your card 2 and 3 times after you close your tab. It happens every time I go there as well as the people I go there with still a cool place im just not down with being triple charged

Took my son and his friends here for a small Birthday party today(about 9 people in total). There were three other large parties that walked in around the same time. Staff was quick to seat us and take our orders. The food took about 45 minutes to come out but again, that was because of the other large parties being there as well. The kids had fun in the arcade. Waitress was attentive and accommodating. Food came out hot and everyone was happy. We will be back!

A boost, great time with anyone, must cost and enjoy

Went there on the night of the December 14th. The place was not very busy when got there. Our order was taken and then the wait began......we waited over 40 minutes for our food. We were apologized to 3 times by our waitress but never heard or seen management. We had gotten our drinks which were just 2 sprites. I told the waitress we would just pay for the drinks and leave. After waiting all that time do you believe that they took my money for the drinks. Didnt comp them. Wow. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I will be sure to pass it on!

Went on taco and trivia night. Trivia was fun. Drink service was good. After waiting over an hour of waiting for our dinner we left to get food some place else.Might be an outlier but we wont be trying again. Looked like a fun place though.

Our first trip here was for my grandson’s birthday. He and his sister and cousins really enjoyed the arcade. We had boneless wings, chicken strips, French fries. side salad and fried pickle chips. Everything was very good and the prices are very reasonable. The kitchen needs to step it up a bit. We waited a long time for our food and they were not that busy. We would have also liked our appetizer and salad out before the meal. It all came at once. We will be back!

They have a great range of games from pool tables and classic 80s and 90s classic arcade games to modern multi player arcade games.

I attended for a fundraising event for my sons school. The food was not bad, but its a bar/pub scene, so dont expect fine Fench dining or anything. I dont think the kitchen was equipped to handle the crowd size, so food was slow coming but it was good when it got there. Now for the diversion outside of the food. If you happen to pass near or live close by, I think your family will enjoy the arcade. I am pretty sure they have a pool table or two also.

Friendly staff. The prizes could be better but the arcade games will bring out the inner child in anybody.

I’ve been seeing this place on Facebook and finally came tonight. This place did not disappoint. It was great. Beat wings I’ve had in Clayton. If you have kids and aren’t coming here you’re crazy. Great environment and even better food. This might be our new spot. Great job guys. Finally a good place to eat in Clayton!

Love the food got three pizzas, spicy chicken dip delicious but wasnt spicy but had good flavor anyway. Also ordered jalapeno peppers now that was spicy and very good. Has pool tables and air hockey and more games for little ones to play. Plus a separate room for birthday parties. We will be going back there. Waitress was wonderful.

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Went in and the place was not busy at all. Ordered 2 iced teas a salad and a burger that we waited for, for over an hour because the salad came out wrong and the burger, although as hard as a hockey puck, was cold. By this time the place was packed, lord knows why, and finally got fed up and left. You would have thought the check would have been comped but, like others have shared in their reviews, no such courtesy was extended. This was our first time there and will be our last without a doubt.

Love it! Very respectful and quick service, food is delicious and not over priced, events are always wonderful and an entertaining way to end my night. Definitely would recommend!

Had my daughters birthday party here. Its a great place for adults as well as children. The staff is friendly and cheerful as we as the patrons.

Beer was flat, the vibe was unwelcoming, staff was uninterested in doing their job, wings tougher than Chuck Norris, and definitely not a good time

Great place! Good food, good drinks and great place for adults and kids to have fun.

Ordered pizza and wings. Pizza is made with a ready made crust and who knows the whole pizza (including sauce and cheese) is ready made. Wings were cooked well but very tiny, and their “hot” wing sauce tasted just like mild. I had to ask for Texas Pete in order to make my food to taste better. I’m giving it 3 stars despite the food because my daughter had fun in the arcade side and there is nothing like that around here.

Went for dinner and a few games. I was very impressed with our waiter, he was attentive and worked with me to check a few products for possible milk products. Food was good, drinks were as expected. The arcade was a bit of a disappointment, as some of the machines were a bit wonky, but we didnt bring any kids with us, so a family might really like the chance to eat in peace while kids have a safe activity to do.

First time visiting and we had a great time! Zach was our waiter and he was very helpful and attentive. The food was good and prices were fair. Games did NOT seem to be rigged like most places so we got lots of tickets! We will definitely be back!

Great live band when we visited playing rock music from the 70s through the 90s. Jalapeno poppers were very good, staff were friendly and attentive. Crowd was good and not to packed, plus, all the games that were available made for a great place to have fun.

Went the on a Friday evening to have date night. First visit and it was a blast, our server was so sweet, helpful in helping us decide what to eat. Took us back to childhood days. The lemon pepper was way too much, but it was all good. Will go back for sure. Simple, chill, fun!

Ordered to go food here. When I came to pick up the order I totally expected to wait as it was ordered recently. The attitude was I couldn’t stay but needed to come back. I said no problem. I had a large company order including four drinks. I asked the waitress if I could get a to go container to take the drinks. Response was sorry. We have nothing. Very rude service - I will never return. You lost my business here and I believe Kraftys is owned by the same owner. That’s sad as I liked going there so I decided to try you out here. No coming back.

My family and I have been to Good Times 3 times now. They have great food, large portions and my son loves to play pool and video games before and after we eat. The service is good and we really enjoy eating there.

We celebrated our sons 18th birthday here, and had an exceptional time! Staff was amazing and the food was delicious!!

Cute place, plenty of games kept us entertained. Lunch was pretty good. We went on a Tuesday around 12:30-2:30 and had the place pretty much to ourselves.

Had to update after trying a second time. Having an arcade nearby is great but forget trying to eat there. One server on a Saturday is just not enough. We were ignored for so long that we ended up leaving without ordering anything. The server gave all of her attention to the two parties she had and didnt acknowledge us at all. I imagine it must be difficult finding employees because its sort of hidden. Two attempts is enough for me.Original review: Fun arcade in Garner. The food was mediocre. We went at lunchtime. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap; it didnt have any flavor. Also, a kids grilled cheese which was fine We werent offered drink refills.The games area needs a good cleaning. There were several machines that had drink stains. The football game had a large, gross and sticky stain in the area where the balls come out.

Chicken tenders were good. Not hand breaded or battered but crispy. Burgers a little pricey. Beer was cold. Games were fun. A couple of the machines ate our tokens, but other than that, a lot of fun.

Husband and I very disappointed! First, the bartender was extremely rude. I asked what the specials were and he told me to read the board. So I did. Then I asked for a drink off the board and he said that wasn’t on special and they never update the board??? Ok... so we sat there at the bar waiting for him to come back. This was this past Monday. Wasn’t that busy. Finally got our drinks and didn’t see him again. I asked someone for a menu to do take out. Got the menu but no one took our order. Finally we gave up laid cash down and walked out. It’s a nice place but the staff not so much!!

This place is Amazing! Great for kids and Adults. The games are a blast. Have not eaten here. However dining room was dirty. You have to walk through it to get to the games.

Food was decent and the food specials were a good price. Not much as far as the arcade games go and the prize to ticket ratio isnt the greatest, but I guess they gotta make money too. Drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced. There is a nice outdoor area for smokers to hang out.

I was very impressed with this place! I took my three daughters and different ages but all had a great time! Huge place and the food was very surprising for an arcade/ tavern! Very considerate for little ones with the jukebox not being available until 9pm. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and we will be back! Nice to have a good place to go locally! We need to support them!

A bit of a mixed bag here. The food and service were pretty good. Draft beer was cold and a decent selection - though Id love to see more local options (thats just my opinion). Problem is roughly half the games were out of order, or just plain taking money with no action. 4-way air hockey table was down, one of the basketball machines was down, laser bowling down, Guitar hero down, punching machine down, reaction game down, whack-a-shark barely functional. Id love to see those issues resolved and a more varied type of game selection - not what looked to be the bargain basement leftovers of the amusement company. Im hoping things turn around, as its a great concept and could be fantastic for the area.

Arrived at the Good Times Arcade and Tavern around 8PM on Dec 14th, 2019. Immediately upon entering, my group of 5 was informed that due some damage, very few drinks would be available. Not an issue for us, we took our seats and begin looking over the menu. What did end up being an issue was the 15 minutes it took to have someone bring our waters, the 20 to take our orders, and the 45 to get a burger, 2 hotdogs, some fries and tots. After we finished our meal (admittedly, fairly tasty), we waited patiently for our server to return. This took another 20 minutes, with one of my party having to go let her know we were ready for the bill. Multiple times she passed by our table, and multiple times we attempted to gain her attention or flag her down, but whatever conversation she was having must have been too funny, as she continued to laugh away with 2 other servers by their stand. After finally managing to pay our bill, we decided to try out some of the arcade machines. Unfortunately, about 1/3rd of the machines were taped over, and non functional (With one of the racing games actually having a windows error notification the screen.) Of the few games we did play, at least 2 of the machines did not actually reward tickets as displayed. Now, this is not really a big deal, in that none of us actually wanted any of the prizes, but the unfortunate server who apparently has to jump back and forth between the kitchen and the prize stand made it very obvious that she loathed any attempt at communication. All in all, I rate the experience at 2 stars, and only that high due to the food at least being tasty.

Great local place. Food was good. Had my sons birthday party there in their party room which was free with a certain food purchase.

Went there for dinner. Food and service were very good, our server Emma was excellent, especially since she was so new. Burger was great and plenty of fries included. Prices did feel a bit above average, especially considering the plastic utensils and cheap table cloths. Will be back.

The food was good and plentiful. My wife had the chicken sandwich and I had the club sandwich. We both had the tater tots as a side. The club was huge! It was quite good. My wife enjoyed her chicken. Overall the meal was better than I expect from a pub. They have pinball, skee ball, arcade, pool, and other games. My only critique would be that the music was too thrashy for a family arcade style pub. We will return with the kids.

Pretty cool spot. Good music. Drinks reasonable. I had fun. I would go back. My only issue is if you are a pay as you go customer you will have problems. They charge you tax. So if you order a $5 shot for example its $5.35. If you give them a $10 they will bring you back 4 singles and keep the coin change. I just chalked it up to their tip whatever. But it is kinda rude not to give you all your change. I can see how this would anger of confuse someone.

I was blown away with how busy it was for a 4pm on a Saturday. The food was REALLY good. The games were a scatter of old and new. The ticket counter for the kids was small but they enjoyed it. I will be back for sure.

Do not waste your time or money! The wings are extremely tiny & over cooked. A lot of the games dont work. I will say their service rocks! We didnt sit at the bar, but it looks cool... maybe good for a few drinks & a game.

Food took way too long and was not a busy time of day, then when it did arrive my order was not complete! The server had little to say and we never saw her again until it was time for the check, at which time she asked if we would like any refills...that would have been nice if we were still eating! Food was okay (mainly fried items and bar food) but service was lacking...spent 1 1/2 hours at 1 pm for a salad and a sandwich!

The staff and owner are always very welcoming! Very fun, inviting, and full of fun! There is never a dull moment with the staff! They will keep you laughing, even if you have had a horrible day!

Been to this spot four times in the past two weeks. ALWAYS great service and atmosphere. The food is amazing, a little on the expensive side but you are getting real deal food, not the usual lazy pop in the microwave bar food. Groupon has deals that help with food prices. Great selection of drafts and the nightly specials are commendable. there is one bartender there every single time we go, and she seems to remember everything and everyone. She didnt even wait on us during our most recent visit but still knew my girlfriends choice of soft drink when she asked for one. Now thats good customer service!

Food was okay, service not so much. Slow afternoon, not crowded, got lunch coupon special but were charged incorrectly twice. Arcades more for kids than adults. Looked like a good selection of beer on tap.

Terrible food. Nachos = stale chips and gas station nacho cheese; for $8 a plate... Southwest bowl = uncle bens minute rice and some black beans. None of our orders arrived correctly. We’ve tried this place twice now and it’s been terrible both times.

Old school video games, good food, pool tables, juke box, bar, modern games, kid games. What more could you want?

Good food and nice selection of draft beers. The kids had a blast with the arcade after we finished dinner. If you want, you can sit in at the arcade tables and eat while they play!

Just a great experience

We wanted to give the new place a try. We showed up on the Friday of the first week. Like all new places, things are not perfect but the server rocked, food was good and the service was good. The management obviously gets customer service. The arcade is full of cool games. Our son had a blast. We will be back.

Really cool looking and inviting place. Service was great. On the down side the food was mediocre at best and expensive for the poor quality. Ordered boneless wings and If they were even chicken they must be thigh meat. Very tiny and of weird texture and shape. Kids meals were standard fair frozen foods but surpassed the wings. Bypassed a main course after the appetizer. Lots of games in the game room but nothing very appealing to kids under 7-8
