I purchased a poster calendar from Alan Claude in Maine summer 2019. I have loved having each different painting grace my kitchen each month of 2020. I was thrilled that I was able to purchase a calendar for this coming year, too! Art work has never been so important in these pandemic days. So grateful for your work!

I visited Alan Claudes Gallery this month and it has a wonderful ambience, perfect for showcasing incredible artwork. I liked that I got to meet the artist in person. Alan was very warm and welcoming. The hardest part was deciding which print I was taking home, but I finally decided on Lobster Boat at Five Islands. It looks great in its new home!

While walking in downtown Gardiner I had gotten the chance to visit Alan Claudes gallery. Not only is the building beautiful, the art work is absolutely outstanding. When my friends and I entered the gallery we were struck with a very warm welcome. Very positive outcome, it was a pleasure to visit and I look forward to future visits.I recently visited the town of Gardiner and stumbled upon the gallery of Alan Claude. What a pleasant surprise! This is a must stop location if you are in the Augusta Maine area. The artwork is diverse and is quintessential Maine. The owner/artist is in the store and signed everything we purchased for us. The array of items offered allows you find something for everyone. You wont find a better place to shop local for this holiday season. We will be back over and over to see the new work that is on display.

The new gallery in downtown Gardiner is wonderful! I purchased two of Alans 2021 poster calendars for relatives who live away but return to Maine every summer. The gorgeous prints will not only bring back memories of the places theyve been, but also inspire them to visit places they have yet to discover. Alan has managed to capture all of the things I love about Maine in his work. Somehow the work is both simple and intricate, just like the landscapes. There isnt a single piece I dont want for my own collection. I walked away with a 2021 calendar showcasing popular prints. What a great addition to Gardiner, ME, a delightful gallery.

On a recent visit to Maine, we noticed a collection of Alans Lighthouse prints on display at the airport in Portland. I was so intrigued by the color and quality of these works that I wanted to know more about them. Luckily his studio and gallery had recently opened in Gardiner, Maine so we were able to easily find them. The studio is warm and friendly and there is more to Alans art than just lighthouses; such as Maine waterfronts and lobster buoys! Our house back in New York has a little bit of Maine thanks to his beautiful works.

Alan creates the most beautiful graphics. The are vivid and so unique and quintessential Maine. I have purchased multiple prints and can’t wait to see what he creates next.

We were excited to see Alan Claudes gallery on the morning news and visited the same day. His art has caught my eye as captures an essence of simpler times. The gallery is beautiful, well stocked and relaxed. We will plan to visit again and further explore Gardiners appealing downtown.

What a wonderful surprise to discover Alans gallery recently! I missed my usual shopping at his stand at the Yarmouth Clam Festival as I always loaded up on holiday gifts especially the beautiful desk calendars that are now an annual gift for family and friends. He has done a fabulous job in creating a most inviting space to show off his great works! Best of luck as he takes his business to yet another level!

A lovely studio, very Covid safe... Located in a nice area, lovely views. Alan was very nice and signed the calendars I purchased. This is the perfect place to purchase local gifts for friends!!

We met the artist at a farmers market during our amazing Leaf-Peepin tour in October 2019. We purchased a wall calendar and recently returned to the website to purchase a calendar for the upcoming year. The art makes us so happy. We hope to get back across the country someday to visit again and see the gallery!

If I could choose 13 stars, I would- I stopped by Alan Claudes gallery in Gardiner, ME last Saturday, and was invited in to a charming space in a historic brick building (next to Renys, for those of you in Maine) that overlooks the Kennebec River. I had a lovely chat with Mr. Claude himself, and particularly enjoyed his enthusiasm for Gardiners Water Street renaissance. HIs gallery is a great addition to the area- its well worth a trip to visit! I know I will be going back...

Alan went out of his way to prepare one of his prints to make sure that it will be the perfect Christmas present. He even went so far as to make sure that if my wife stumbled upon it before I could wrap it that she wouldnt be able to tell what it was! Appreciate the great art and more importantly the great customer service!
