Nice & comfy reclining leather seats, with plenty of parking. Extremely clean and they follow all health guidelines.

The remodel was perfect. Great setting and great seating. concession prices went up a little bit. Manager was nice. Prices for movies are great. Oh one more important thing. The bathrooms are great and well kept.

Newly remodeled and now called the Starlight West Grove Cinemas! The theatre now has a large auditorium, brand new laser projectors for every screen, RECLINER SEATS, and a guest services counter so you can buy your tickets inside!

Very cool experience to try at least once. Its a bit pricey but I would like to go again.

Great dome theater. Went there in an afternoon for Star War 3D iMAX at the dome. Loved it. the price is just best for iMax 3D and the experice of the 3D is naturual and the extension of the movie simply made everything better. Just order the ticket online and scan at the door is great.Though parking might have some extra after validation still.

I love this theater. Only $5 on Sundays before 5pm and all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would give it 5 stars but everything is way TOO EXPENSIVE at the snack bar and it is being remodeled so there are only 2 theaters open right now but it is going to be 4 star soon. 5 star if they bring those snack bar prices down! You do get a free refill on a large popcorn though $8 (If you have a large family the per person price break down makes it worth it I guess but... But you cant beat the movie price 3 days a week!

While you may find some adorable pixelated wildlife in the lobby you can definitely observe that the staff here is a harmonious team that improves the experience for theater goers. While I may not partake in the concessions I definitely enjoyed conversing with other patrons and staff alike. Where else can you get a good escape and have the simple inspiration to talk about summer grilling over jalapeno juice. Really enjoyed my night out and look forward to my next attendance on their discount night.

Clean small cozy theater, nice staff clean restrooms great popcorn, came here to watch Endgame got here early and waited in line outside. In side seats lean back in small but clean theater. Only problem here was after the previews when lights went off they started the wrong movie on us the lights came back on for a bit while they searched for the right movie. I dropped a star for this delay since I had to leave for work before the end of movie.

A great place to see movies on the cheep! Ticket prices are low, and there are regular discount days and times. The concessions are not a back breaker either. More than at the store, but only 65% or so of other movie places. Not a good choice if youre trying to impress on a first date, unless its a test. (I dont recommend or condone testing ones potential partner)

This place is hidden treasure, most people havent even heard of it. But the prices to see the movies are crazy cheap. The device is outstanding and everything is really clean. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD its pricey for food.

Love this theater. Cheap tickets and local kids who work here are very nice. Very inexpensive to take my kids to the movies here and i love the small/local feel.

My first time in this theater was right around Christmas time 2019. I saw the newest Star Wars movie called Star Wars: Episode IX also called: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Great movie; Great effects.The second movie that I saw at this theater is called: Jumanji: The Next Level. Another great movie with great effects. I saw this second movie right around New Years Eve - 2019.I highly recommend everyone seeing these movies.

Very cozy, family-owned-feel theatre. Wheelchair seating is the very back row adjacent to the door. Great ticket pricing, very affordable, even on their non-bargain days/times.

Went to see The Lion King. Wow! Lover of both animated and live action! Sure hope with all my heart that Starlight 4 Star will still offer discount days after the new remodel. Have lived in West Garden Grove for a long time and have brought my kids and now my grandkids. Please keep it affordable for my big family of 9 to keep having wonderful family memories together! Thank you to all of your staff for being so kind! And we will see you all next time!

Very nice place to bring friends and family to see a movie

Someone told my husband and I about this theater.. & weve been coming ever since! Brought my kiddos practically the entire summer 2019. Love the discounted days & prices, (dont ever change), the movies, and the rooms arent so bad. We just have try to remember to bring a sweater everytime, because the a/c gets to a freezing temp. Im so glad theyre going through a remodeling stage.. cant wait to see the changes.

I would give it give stars but it still has old style seating but it is clean.and you do have leg room

So many years Ive came to this theater and created so many memories. Definitely come on Tuesday and Thursday for the 5$ movies! The parking can get tight sometimes so be mindful of that. Midnight releases can yield a long line. There are only 4 rooms for viewings so dont expect 15 different movie options. Its a relatively small theater, but I love it, been coming here since I was a kid.

I love this place. Its a discount theater with new releases. They dont have the fancy reclining chairs or reserved seating but they have everything you need to enjoy a quick movie by yourself or with the kids. Staff is friendly and the line for concessions is usually pretty quick. Nice, small local theater that is better priced than its competitors.

It has been fantastic..And it will be again. But now they need Security or the cops to patrol.But right now during construction the wife and I had to walk past 4 or 5 Tweekers to get to the entrance.I guess these folks were driven out of wherever hole they were hanging out before the construction fencing went up. Now there taking shade by the entrance.Hopefully management will read this an do something.

A little on the small side, and could use updated recliner seats, however very good theater, value and snack bar. Yes they charge movie prices for Nachos, popcorn and drinks. But, they will happily refill Large sizes and even let you take the extra right away. The nachos are $6.50+$1.50 for extra cheese, but it is Extra cheese in cup and second cup, and chips are stacked sideways in tray, so plenty of chips, way more than just tossed in. Popcorn is popcorn price, butter self serve extra butter AND, they even put out flavor/seasoning powder bottles like: nacho, garlic parmesan, ranch and caramel.

I always have a good time at this theater. Good pricing and great reward cards. Newly released movies at half the price of other theaters. Clean and nice, friendly staff

Even thou this place is small and they only play 3 movies... it is worth the drive.Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday are 5$. Including kids.Unlike other movie theaters that super packed, crazy lines, and rude AF.Of course they need to upgrade the seats and somewhat other things... but it is very much worth coming here. .

Why would I give it 5 stars its only a 4 star place. It looks like theyre going to be re building the whole mall area. Old school theater no recliners, but the ticket prices and the condiments are reasonable. I would have given it 3 starts but you know what your getting when you go. I have not experience long lines here.

My boys and I saw a movie and a few days later my youngest and I went and saw another movie. The theater is got on pricing... Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.It definitely has a cheap feel to it though. It just feels grimy.

Well, the name of the theater highly influenced this rating. I would give 5 stars, however 4 stars seemed more appropriate.

Apparently according to assistant manager in duty at 5:45pm on 4-28-19.... Its first come first serve even if you demonstrate a handicap need. Disable accommodation do not apply to you if the show is sold out. They even sold the handicap space seating as general seating as I watched the entire group of movie goers go into the show with none demonstrating special needs.Very disappointed

Dont ever come here horrible customer service, they let my under aged siblings get in two weeks ago and this time they made a big deal and wouldnt even let me in without an Id cause I didnt bring my wallet.The heck .Go else where

Ive seen several movies at this theater, the seats are dated yet still comfortable. Its small but still doable. All considering, the prices make this place a great value.

It is small neighborhood theater. No fancy seats, no plush recliners, humongous sound sysyem. But opening weekend of a major picture and the theater was only one quarter full. However, lots of pre-show commercials, not a really big screen, and the theater is in need of renovation. But if seeing the movie is more important than the decor, then the theater is more than adequate.

5-STAR RECOMMENDATION: This discounted movie theater is located on Valley View Street in the city of Garden Grove, California (near the McDonalds). I do like how the prices are discounted for relatively newly-released theatrical movies. There is also plenty of parking available onsite.

Worst experience ever. The rooms are so cold. Literally saw three parties leave because of nonsense. Wont come back.

Small Theater but is going to be remodeling soon to expand. They will be adding a Bar and a Mexican Restaurant. They have great deals on movies. Sunday from open to 6pm its just $5.00. Tuesday and Thursday all day just $5.00, on Wednesday can you say free popcorn with paid admission. Join there club and get even more savings the even have $1.00 days for older re play movies.

It has all the first run movies. It has really great prices like $5 on Sunday all day and Tuesdays and Wednesdays before 6 and all kinds of good stuff the problem is, its a small theater with small screens. They only have 4 but the good news is, they are remodeling soon so that should take care of the size issue. Would definitely recommend them

Went to see Black Panther at 750p. Great movie. BUT, the PREVIEWS didnt start until 8p and then the movie started about 15 min later. Not a big deal about getting out later but when you expect a movie (or at least the previews) to start at a designated time and it doesnt, its disappointing. Other than that, all else was fine. Oh, and I might add that their selection of foods are pretty basic and not upscaled like most other theatres.

I loved it I go all the time its cheep and extremely convenient. They are always showing recent shows as well. This theater is my go to for dates, family events, birthdays, and just a night of relaxation. The food is really good and always fresh. The employees are kind as well as considerable to the needs of there customers. I love how clean it is and how the theater inforces the rules of the movies.

The theater is small and the screen is smaller. I would not recommend going here. However the ticket prices on sundays are 5 dollars. I am not sure about the other days.

Where the Locals go....inexpensive tickets, special screenings, and comfy seats. Tasty popcorn and other sweet treats. Staff are friendly. While the theater is called 4 Star [Cinemas] they are deserving of 5 stars.

The theater was clean the concession stand was well stocked and the staff was very polite and helpful. The theater was also very clean no complaints I would gladly go here anytime.

The place smells bad.... and the screen size is half the size of other theaters. Don’t bring your date here if you want a second date.

Saw Thor on 11.9.17 it was awesome and sound was great. Not too bad on ears like some theaters. That have the ear blasting sonic sound! Plenty of parking too prices are less that big chains.
