The place is dark and is in need of remodeling but the fish are healthy and the owner is very knowledgeable and nice. He answered all of our questions. Had a lot of fish Ive never seen in person. There are a lot of reviews that say the tanks are dirty. They were all clean, it is the back and sides of the tanks that make them look dirty. It looks like they were once covered with something and it was removed. Thats why they look like that.

Perfect goth fish store! Dark, walls painted black. Gloomy. Odd gurgling noises...Well not really. Owner is extremely knowledge and friendly. Fish are all very healthy. Great place if youre into Chiclids.

This place is NOT AN AQUARIUM!! This is just a fish store. Took my son to go to the aquarium for the 1st time and saw this was advertised as an aquarium. Walk in and its a dark and dirty fish store! Very disappointing! Google needs to classify this as a tropical fish store!

Love this place best place to find agressive fish that most stores wont stock. often has wild caught fish and variety changes often. And bonus got a monster tank that anyone into big fish would love.

This is an excellent place for tropical fish!! I am always satisfied when I go here. Best place to find very exotic & rare fish, with brilliant colors, that are a nice size, and kept healthy, in good condition. Check their website for updates before you go.

Great place to buy out-of-the-ordinary cichlids.....flowerhorns, budas, etc that are not commonly seen in chain pet stores. They carry the common cichlids too. Plenty of supplies, rock, slate, gravel. Eric is an expert on aquariums, all fish (cichlids esp), fish-water interaction and water chemistry. Very helpful and knowledgable about all aspects....from shimming tanks to healthy bacteria cycling. You name it.

Scary. Dark dank and creepy. Thought I stepped into a drug den or seedy bar/strip club. We thought someone left the back door unlocked to an abandoned building. I had my gun on me so wasnt super worried but I wouldnt have gone in otherwise.

The guy in the store has great knowledge about Tropical fishes and I never seen the huge collection of cichlid collection before.

Dirty, run down, sad selection of fish.Needs to be cleaned up and go threw a revamp.

Very bad customer service, place is dark & filthy, aquariums are NOT clean,leaks all in the roof dripping into buckets overflowing,....I also was a first time potential GREAT customer I went in & was looking for something for my 150 gallon....well they had a very beautiful jaguar cichlid & a albino pleco that were big....I ended up spending $200 give or take a few bucks....I paid $100 for the jaguar cichlid.....he was very aggressive and tore up my redtail catfish....I called and asked if I could bring him back....he said yes but Id only get half of what I paid for so $50 because I paid $100....so whatever I was understanding on getting less back....I drive 50 mins to get there for him to say its $50 store credit.....so they basically force you into spending with them not to mention u only get half back store credit NO CASH REFUNDS & every fish store Ive been to in the past 20+ yrs in the hobby Ive NEVER had a problem....Ill NEVER do business at cichlid world again.....STAY AWAY!!!!

Scary dark, beyond filthy, tanks are in horrible condition, stangnint standing water everywhere. I thought I was going to catch something or be abducted. Please beware before entering.

The building is a bit dark & musty, but great selection- lots of (healthy) fish you wont find elsewhere and the owner is excessively friendly, knowledgeable & nice to talk to.

Ive known the owner for decades and can say with absolute certainty that hes as stand up as they come. Crazy as a loon but saner than the rest of us. Trust him and you cant go wrong.

I remember coming here as a little kid, my dad used to buy from him about 15 years ago, he eventually left the hobby but i soon picked it up and am proud to say this is my number 1 go to place for Cichlid purchases, Eric is an awesome guy and knows a lot about fish, always learning something new as i go there, never once had a problem with the fish i buy from him, I’ve bought Red Devils, Doviis, african Cichlids, Buddahs, and much more, never once was disappointed, I highly advise this store for your tropical fish needs!

Went there today looking for some cichlids the place is filthy the tanks are in deplorable condition down right nasty didnt have half of what was listed on the website I would have given 0 stars but it forces you to give at least one did I mention the smell very large fish in very small tanks the tanks are so dirty you can barely see whats in them very sad I can not in good conscience recomend this place to any one and would not buy anything from there honestly the place should be shut down
